Nuggets have deal in place to ship Melo to the Nets

http://www.nba.com/2010/news/09/24/aldridge-carmelo-anthony/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt1

East possibly becoming that much better?

If this deal goes down, Nets will be my second favorite East team.

i wouldve sent him to the magic for vince carter or kept him with the additions of corey maggette and charlie villeneuva

Apparently Carmelo says that he never wanted to be traded in the first place...

Nuggets were talking to the Clippers about swapping Melo for Griffin but the Clippers said hell no to that.

The trade with Melo going to the Nets involved 2 other teams as well and we don't know if it willl be going through... (I think)

It doesn't seem like the trade will go through imo, I think that Melo will stay in Denver.

He will probably stay in Denver, for now anyway.

Unless the Nuggets can make a deal to get another all-star, Melo will probably walk next summer when he is an unrestricted free agent ;o

watchin it right now. dwayne got injured but lebron and chris were/are workin. and not just with each other. and the rest of the team (because lebron and chris are off right now) is workin good too (specifically when mario chalmers and james jonesmade that play late in the 3rd quarter).

God, Detroit got 2 injuries in our first preseason game...

One of our rookies from last year, who was also one of our starters, tore his Achilles tendon, and will be out 5-6 months, and one of our rookies from this year, broke a bone in his foot.. -_-

Well, the guy that is out 5-6 months could come back earlier, its just all about how well his conditioning on a day to day basis goes, and seeing as how the Pistons probably have the best trainer in the league with Arnie Kander, I hope that is possible. But ehh

and the guy who broke a bone in his foot, I haven't heard any time limit for his return, but they haven't hinted at it being anything serious, so I presume he'll be back in a few months.

You can have the best trainer in the world and it won't speed up your recovery process. It is about 20% on the trainer and 80% on the player IMO, give or take. I would presume most to all of the season because you need to take into account how long they will be injured, how long it will take to rehab, and how long it will take to get back to where he was.

But broken bone in foot is a little serious no? I mean, you can't really walk on that foot...
