Slash
I mean like shaq-old xD And Kobe is still fairly young, but old at the same time. I'd also say this is Phil's last year with the NBA as coach. My Lakers 2010 hat just came in today <
Monkey
Haha nice! I bet Doc Rivers will retire after this upcoming season too. What about Steve Nash? Yao might retire if he can't play this season
Slash
I actually see Rivers staying round a bit longer. Steve Nash I also see going a few more years, because of his love of Phoenix. Yao, I know he will retire if he can't play. He won't pull a t-Mac and try to come back.
Monkey
Speaking of T-Mac, where is he? New York? Stephon Marbury is in Europe right?
Slash
T-Mac has yet to sign somewhere. He is a free-agent. Stephon Marbury is actually playing in China, I believe for Yao Ming's old team =x
Monkey
Oh that sucks. I wonder who will offer T-Mac, he's still got potential. Stephon Marbury is playing in China huh? So sad such a good player went downhill like that
Slash
Eh, T-Mac has talent, some at least. But he is way to old, and injury ridden to lead a team, or sidekick a team. He is like Allen Iverson atm. and ehhh, Marbury was good, but never a talent that can't be replaced in the NBA with a young talent. His nostalgic value in the NBA has, and will be missed, however. Monkey
I always liked Marbury's clothing line... The shorts were awesome. and the $15 basketball shoes were perfect
Slash
OMG, I know. All I used to wear were his "Starbury" shoes. They had a nice look, and as you said, very cheap =)
Monkey
They were good for pickup games because I would play them outdoors sometimes and I really wouldn't care if I f***ed them up XD. What about Al Harrington's shoe? I think it fails

Slash
The same when Perkins comes back. Until then? Shaq or Jermaine, possibly Rasheed starting.
Monkey
I thought Rasheed retired?
Slash
I thought Rasheed retired? He did. But after the moves Boston has made, he has made no intention of retiring. Monkey
Oh really... I guess Rasheed felt a second burst of life haha Yup, T-Mac signed with Detroit, beast move by Detroit. They are top tier in the East, maybe like 5th

Monkey
Haha he might as well retire now XD Is T-Mac at full strength? Or is he still sorta injured?
Slash
Ha ya. and T-Mac is so-so. He is coming back from Microfracture surgery. He played a few games with the Knicks last season, one of which he scored 26 points. He is one of those players, that people think is done, but he is trying to come back and prove himself. He is only 31, he may have a few more years left in him.
Monkey
31 is a good age, maybe 3 seasons max for him though. Hopefully Yao doesn't retire due to his injury.
Slash
Yep, and some people, including Pistons own Will Bynum, who worked with the same trainer last season, are saying he is in really good shape now, and could be back to his regular self. I am SOO glad Detroit got him <3 and ya, Yao still seems young as well. Sucks that an injury may end it all for him. Yao is epic D:I mean, who cant love the tallest player in the NBA xP
Monkey
I'm actually excited to see Detroit perform. Do you keep up with the national team? It sucks cuz since he is so tall, he's more likely to hurt his lega
Slash
The US National team? Not really, aside from when the Olympics roll around. Most of the top players decided not to play in the World Championships this year anyway..
Monkey
Yeah.. France vs USA exhibition match is on right now 4 way trade with New Orleans, Houston, New Jersey, and Indiana I don't remember the details but Trevor Ariza went to New Orleans, Darren Collison and James Posey went to Indiana. I think Troy Murphy went to New Jersey and Courtney Lee went to Houston
