[align=center]I have noticed a lot of threads about asking why people were banned and tired of waiting for the ban index so this suggestion might help a little, what if:

~ When a member was banned, the mod that banned them would change their sig in to a short discription of their ban.

 

v For example v

 

Member:

Look at ma ripped sigs lolololololololol, i am the spamish ripper who likes little boys lolololololololo.

Moderator:

I am banning you, 1 year ban issued.

*Then the moderator changes the members Sig*

Members sig:

This member was  banned due to
- Spamming
- Ripping Sigs / Tags
- Sexual References

Ban length: 4-4-2009   >   4-4-2010

That way members wouldn't be constantly pm'ing mods to tell them why a member was banned, all the member would have to do is just look at the banned members profile / Sig

the ban index is almost never updated, but you can't blame darth since he's the hardest working mod on YCM. Since other mods can't edit the ban index, they can't edit the bans, but they can edit sigs. therefor, this is a logical solution to our ban-related questions
