Leif watched the duel for a little longer, then yawned slightly under his mask and wandered off, looking around. The area seemed to have what appeared to be snow, drifting this way and that. He was thankful that his mask seemed to shelter him from it; he didn't take well to cold.

 

"...Lief." He heard a voice say. He blinked, then opened up his pack; a few moments later, he pulled out what he was looking for; a dangerous-looking mask, with the jaw and portions that covered the eyes removed, made of iron. Affixed to the top was a dangerous-looking metal crown structure.

 

A couple moments later, the 'snow' appeared to coil and drift around him, tearing the mask from his hands. Moments later, it formed into a humanoid shape, made of metal; where the head would be, there was the mask, empty and yet staring at him with empty eye sockets.

 

Leif nodded slightly. "Mi'lord Fallen King."

 

The King stared back at him, then raised an arm into a duelling position. A disk appeared on the metal ligament. "Another test, Leif."

 

Leif blinked from under his mask. "Another, you say? Well, well well... last time I passed one of your tests, I got the structure for my current deck... so it's in my best interests if I accept, then?"

 

He raised his duel disk in acceptance of the challenge.

I place a beacon in the catheral and flew through the wormhole again. I came out of a hole and landed on the lake. I look up in the virtual sky and yawn. I landed near a tree and went back to sleep.

IC: Sigma was sitting on his throne, observing a monitor that showed current sorruption levels. 'It is time to begin my masterwork. System alteration, server shape warp into Yggdrassil format, system heart, Dark Cathedral' he commanded. The tree that had grown was immense in size, but continued to grow as all the data surrounding it began to compile into, causing it to appear in the winding tree. The Dark Cathedral warped to the veyr top of the tree, a staircase appeared at the fornt and began winding down. 'May the server Ex-Death, commance' he shouted.

Kai laughed openly. "A pathetic attempt I assure you. She still stands"

He grinned sadistically and drew a card.

"Because it's my Standby Phase, the effect of Kaze Kisaki no Miko activates, meaning you lose Life Points equal to the number of WIND monsters removed from play x 500. So that means 4 monsters x 500." He smiled. "2000 Life Points my friend." He smiled as the priestess fired an energy shock to the players. "And now... I repeal the magic of 'Enso Mikisah' and bring us to the 'Tera Pomme' or Tornado Shrine!" The circle shattered, but in its place a large scaling temple surronded them. "And since I end my turn, you lose an additional 200 Life Points for each Spell Card removed from play, which counts right now at 3. So 600 more damage."

"Damn... we're losing... big time. Oh well. When I need it to most, my deck will come through for me! MY TURN! DRAW!!!"

Zarkus's hand glowed.

"I activate Foolish Burial, sending Volcanic Scattershot from my Deck to the Grave, inflicting 500 damage on you."

He started laughing.

"I feel sorry for you. You are the only person to experience this card. I remove Masked Assassin, Volcanic Scattershot, Fiend Roar Diety Raven, Abyss Soldier, Slate Warrior, and Card trooper in my graveyard from play! Now! Elements Converge! I summon my most powerful creature..."

A thick fog filled the air as the insignias of all the elements merged into one. It turned into a ball of light, then formed into a dragon.

"COME OUT! YAMATA-NO-OROCHI!"

The dragon grew 8 heads.

"He counts as every attribute in the game, so I can activate this card! Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan! It destroys all of your monsters, but then I chain a second copy, destroying all of your Spell/Trap cards!"

The Orochi emitted a dark cloud that destroyed all cards Kai controlled.

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This Card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play one LIGHT, DARK, FIRE, WATER, WIND, and EARTH monster from your hand, field, or Graveyard. This Card counts as LIGHT, DARK, FIRE, WATER, WIND, and EARTH attributes while its face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. Once per turn, you can pay 1000 lifepoints to enable this card to attack 8 times this Battle Phase, and treat its ATK as 1000 each time. This Card is unaffected by Trap cards and Monster effects other then its own.

Ayumi shot out in defense, "I activate 'Tenhou Yuuki'!" A magical card appeared quickly. "With this, any damage inflicted during this turn is done to all players!"

"Hah... hahhahha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH! I have one facedown card left, and I anticipated your move! FACEDOWN ACTIVATE! RAINBOW LIFE! Now I recover all damage I take this turn. I pay 1000 Life Points to activate my Orochi's special effect. Now he can attack 8 times at 1000 ATK points. This is the beginning of the end for you! Orochi, attack him 8 times!"

The dragon opened his mouth and fired a blast of every element at Kai. Fire. Wind. Water. Earth. Light. Dark. Poison. Chaos. All of them hit Kai at the same time.

Zarkus laughed insanely.

"Feel the pain of every elemental force of nature!"

OOC: I decided not to end my turn for dramatic effect >_>

Kai smirked. "Please. That was an excellent assault I assure you. But since you played that Spell card, it gave me the chance I needed."

 

A card flipped up. "The counter Spell 'Mahodou Otome no Mahou'! Now I gain the Life Points I originally would have lost!"

Kai noticed the deteriorating surrondings. He lost his smirk. "That idiot, he launched it too soon."

 

He looked at Zarkus. "Maybe another day. I need to have a word with a certain power mad maniac." He called out, "Area Coding Dispatchment, end Duel; Reset parameters." The area flashed white and Kai and Ayumi were gone. The LP counters on Zarkus and Heikichi reset to 8000.

Zarkus dropped on his hands and knees and started sweating.

"Am... am I the only one whose left?... the only GM who hasnt succumbed to the virus...?"

Zarkus smashed the ground with his hands

"DAMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

[Hydra of Ages]

Leif stared down at the faceless king on the other side of the field.

 

"I'll begin." He said, drawing a card from his deck and adding it to his hand.

He paused. "I'll play Magical Mallet, to shuffle three cards into my deck and redraw." He did so. [L-2]-[L-5]

"Next...I'll place a monster in face down Defense position, and add another face-down card." A horizontally placed reverse-card appeared, followed by another face-down card behind it.[L-3]

"That's it for my turn."

The Fallen King nodded, and drew his card from his deck.

There was a pause. "I discard Grey Acolyte from my hand. This allows

me to retrieve a specific card from my deck."

He paused as a card slid out of his disk, and his deck automatically shuffled. "I now play it. Bear witness to The Dead Castle Grey!"

 

There was a rumble as the falling data around him seemed to converge into a great, white mist, obscuring everyone's vision. Leif glanced around anxiously, catching glimpses of battlements and stone walls; all along the sides, he caught sight of vicious looking stone Gargoyles leering down at him. He shivered slightly; this place felt... unholy, somehow. Like he was within the Virus itself. [K-5]

 

"When I activate Castle Grey, I must give up the top 10 cards of my deck. However, from this point on, both of us must discard a card from the top of our decks during our Standby phase."

 

He took a small stack from the top of his deck, and placed it in the graveyard. "Of these cards, there are some with certain effects- for example, Grey Reaper Jean and Grey Reaper Galdo. Since they were sent to

the Graveyard, and Castle Grey is on the field, they are automatically summoned."

 

Two grey-robbed figures appeared out of the mists. The first wore a mask with slight cracks in it, in the shape of a smile. It held two great Scythes, with what looked like Broadswords curved to make the blades. (2400/1000)

 

The other was much less imposing. It was a thinner Reaper, with a blank mask that had a horizonal black stripe across it. It held a thin, decorative-looking Black Scythe in its right hand. (2000/1000)

 

"First things first, Galdo can shave off the top card of your deck, and remove it from play."

 

The thinner Reaper glowered at Leif, as he removed the top card of his deck from play.

 

He paused. "I now activate The Antiquity of Castle Grey, a Spell Card."

He played it, and Leif winced. There was no visible change, but the... aura of the place seemed to have changed. "With this, I may discard any card with Grey from my hand, to search my deck for a Grey Knight, and bring it to the field. It also reduces the level of all Grey Reapers for the turn, which is something to take note of."

 

He paused for another second. "I discard Grey Reaper Calo in this way, to Special Summon Grey Knight Viri."

 

There was a pause, as the mists seemed to swirl. On the King's side of the field, appeared what appeared to be an elaborate set of grey plate armor; despite being empty, it drew a pair of Bastard Swords from the sheaths on each side of its waist and took a battle stance (1900/1700).

 

"In Castle Grey, Viri gains 500 attack points."

The Mists seemed to settle on Viri. (2400/1700)

 

"Galdo now attacks your face-down monster. Reaper Calo, whom you may remember I discarded, negates the effects of ALL your trap cards while Reaper Galdo is face-up on the field. You have no defense but your monster now."

 

Leif growled as the set monster was blown away; as it dissipated, the hologram revealed the vague image of Big Eye.

 

"That was Big Eye, the original non-zombie version. Since he was flipped, I can now rearrange the top 5 cards of my deck."

 

He picked them up, and quickly rearranged them. He paused for a second before making the final adjustment, and placed them back on his deck.

 

The king nodded. "Viri, Jean, attack."

 

Leif winced and staggered as the two monsters cleaved into him.

There was a pause, as Reaper Galdo and Reaper Jean burned into ashes. The king nodded. "Much like your Reapers, mine do not stay for long. At the end of a turn they are Special Summoned, they return to the Graveyard."

During a turn you activate this effect, reduce the Level of all monsters with 'Grey Reaper' in their names by 1.

If this card is in your Graveyard while there is a "Grey Reaper Galdo" face-up on the field, Negate the effects of all opponent's Trap Cards.
