The energy ball hit Zarkus square in the chest. It exploded.

"G...argh..."

Zarkus coughed up blood, both in game and in real life, and fell to the ground.

"I activate... Final Gasp"

He started fading away.

"Now... all of your cards on the field are destroyed... and you take half the damage I take... I hope someone expells the virus from you... and saves you.. UGH"

Zarkus dissapeared and went into cardiac arrest in real life. He was rushed to the hospital and barely survived. There was a thick dark energy left over from where he vanished.

A sudden rumble went through her body. Grasping her self with her arms she started to shiver. "Not here... not here... not here..." She quickly muttered a silent keyword. In the next moment, she was transported to a deserted area. It was a cave-like surronding, however it had a crystal blue lake and a luminous white tree that penetrated the darkness of the tavern. She was pushed onto all fours and started to breathe rapidly. The gems on her head gear turned crimson red. Her attire turned into a monochromatic series of blue, as well as her hair. Her eyes glowed ruby red and suddenly, her staff changed to an emerald crystal.

She stood up, and said, in a somewhat deeper voice, "Trying to contain me isn't nice..." It was definately a male's voice, although his voice was very similar to her own. "Well, let's see what I've missed..." He picked up his staff and warped back to where the others were.

"Hmmm...." He didn't say a word as he watched.

(Note: the apperance is mostly the same, however there was a change in color only. The voice is nearly identical also.)

Sigma raised his arm in defence as his own LP vanish. He just laughed as it reseted to 8000. 'Intiate command, override, server warp, hostile takeover' he said. The entire server they were on began to rock and it began to fall apart, leving weird and chaotic shapes about.

He stood in front of the player named Leif. "System protocol launch, Anti-viral code OBW-155, correction in data anamoly." The land mass they were standing on straightened itself out. He turned to Leif. "You should get out of here, the protection will only last for a few minutes..."

He backed away. "So... it infected a GM. Interesting..." He stepped closer to the enraged GM, not caring if the data was distorted. "Lambda deletion. Registering area. Delta deletion. Awaiting response. Viral code accepted. Termminate." The area all around them was shattered, replaced with a new server with identical surrondings.

"This is a clone of the original server. And my settings are more encoded than the administrators know." In other words, no distortion.

The figure of Zarkus looked over at Kai and Leif

"Listen lady... dude... whatever. This little virus you have here isn't simply a program. Its an actual force of darkness. I dont know whether you believe in that stuff or not, but let me tell you."

He walked over to Kai and got really close.

"I am not a program or AI. Im an actual part of Zarkus."

OOC: Virus is infecting the entire game.

The boot disappated. He looked lazily in his direction. "My sever... my codes Sigma."

He smiled. "Oh I believe you perfectly. Although," he looked straight into this Zarkus' eyes. "I think you should be careful when you speak about about things... like darkness for example." His eyes glowed for a moment, but quickly faded. "In any case... you should concern yourself with that rouge GM friend of yours Sigma." He turned away, smirking.

'He assaulted me first, the blame shifts to him. And, any code can be hacked, no matter how intricately made. Hacking system now, processing through data, overide, GM Sigma command, taking control of server in 3,2,1. Command established, shutting down now'.

Leif blinked, then shrugged when it became apparent the GMs hadn't been noticed he was included in whatever was happening. He didn't find it prudent to correct them, especially as he had nothing new to contribute... that would mean he had an idea about what was happening, which he did not.

"Impressive." He wasn't really caring at all. He walked towards the 'darker' Zarkus. As he passed by him, he said in a murmur, "Darkness is quite a useful tool, as you should know. Just don't waste it."

He continued walking away, soon after warping to the tranquil peace of the underground lake. He picked up a glowing white leaf from the water. It quickly changed to a blacksh color and traveled up his arm. He stared at it curiously. "So... your a piece of the infamous virus are you?" As if to respond, it clutched his arm. He glanced down at the water. "I see. Not that it wasn't expected. But a place like this would be useful to you. Out of the system, yet in the system. A haven for all of the emotions of the defeated..." As he said this, the lake shined, revealing a swirling vortex-like appearance. Several moans were heard.

"Well then... I give you my purest permission to do as you like. I no longer care." The dark blob encompassed him, giving him a darker aura, but soon disappeared. He stood up. "I see. This virus isn't really a virus at all. It is..." But he didn't continue. He just smiled. "Let's see just how well this goes. And who shall join our tormented friends in the lake..." He stared at the lake, which revealed all the happenings of Zarkus, Sigma, and anyone else in the area.

The "normal" Zarkus woke up in the hospital, and called the creator of the game. His voice was faint, but he could still communicate.

"Guys... I let him out. He should be able to take over for me for a while."

The creator of the game responded to him.

"You need the rest."

"Alright..."

Zarkus closed his eyes and fell asleep for a while.

OOC: Im actually surprised this RP didnt die o_o

'Control established, commanding central kernal zone, Dark Citadel, intiate /goto command' Sigma/virus said. He vanished and appeared in that sathedral style area Zarkus was at, but it was more repaired. Sigma walked up to throne and sat on it. 'Begin total system corruption, begin at, Beginner City and spread' Sigma commanded.

A dark plant grew in the centre of the city. It was a large black tree. Many of the players watch it, but, it then begins to grow at an accelerated rate, covering the city with it's roots and vines.

OOC: Maybe you should have a viral corruption meter. To moniter the damage.

Kai peered down into the lake, monitoring Sigma now. "He doesn't waste time as always. But in case of someone trying to cancel his plans..." He walked over to the large tree of glowing white. "I think its time your dormancy ended..." He caressed the tree and then muttered, "Application start, program rewrite, Underrealm Gateway, access to server accepted." The tree gave a shudder and it's leaves shot out in all different directions.

Elsewhere, in the Expert's End server, it had become apparent that white data was falling. Most players believed it to be snow, but it was the leaves of the Underrealm tree, which could infect players.
