Sigma looked as he revealed the unity card. 'So nice of you to do that' he said. He felt a weird energy as his own LP's skyrocketed. 'This is incredible, this buzz, i have 258200 LP. I could just deck him out' he thought to himself. 'I will set a card face down and end my turn'.

The virus looked at him with a look of dissatisfaction as he drew one card from his deck. He activated Pot of Greed, and then activated Heavy Storm and Stop Defense on his Wraith

The virus glowed with an ominous darkness as he revealed another card in his hand. Overload Fusion. He removed 18 machine monsters in his Graveyard from play to summon Chimeratech Overdragon. It attacked his Wraith 18 times, inflicting 259200 damage.

Zarkus looked over at Sigma and said: "I... have to stop this!!! I cant let Sigma die!"

Leif chuckled. 'Mhm, probably should've expected that from the virus. A pity the Game Masters couldn't simply program an instant-win card to use against it... but I suppose the Virus has ways of preventing that.'

Leif cocked his head. 'Hmm...if the GM dies, maybe I'll make a neat mask out of him. Or likewise, maybe if the Virus is defeated, I'll make a mask out of him. Though granted, I wouldn't chance wearing a Virus Mask.'

Sigma took each beating and winced as his LP faded to 0. With each blast he took, the mask on his face cracked until the final blast. He gasped and collapsed onto the ground. 'At least, your precious LP are ruined. Every game master will come after you like rabid animals. You will see Yu-Jo Friendship a lot more' he groaned and was knocked out.

The virus's Chimeratech Overdragon charged up for his final blast. The one that would kill Sigma.

"Sigma... no, I cant let you die! I CAAAAAAAAAAAANT!"

Zarkus ran in front of the blast and got hit by it full force. It enveloped him as it looked like his body disintegrated. There was an explosion and smoke was everywhere.

The smoke cleared, and Zarkus's facial expression was noticably darker. He glowed with an ominous red aura.

"Now see... what you did. And what you unlocked. This is something Ive been repressing for years... this is the power of the Dark Oracle... and a special in-game power I hacked into the game. Its only a matter of time... the time will come when you will be destroyed."

The virus dissapeared.

"Sigma... Im sorry about this. Im sorry you had to go through this."

Zarkus also vanished.

Leif sauntered over to the site of the duel, glancing around with a wistful expression hidden behind his own, grim-faced mask. He paused for a second, then picked up a shard of the defeated GM's mask, rolling it around between his palms.

'It would be a right shame to let this data go to waste... it's a GM, after all. Don't have my mask tools, though...' The masked man paused, then remove his own gray mask. In a couple movements, he merged the data with the bit he had picked up, then stood, admiring his work.

The mask resembled his old one, but now alabaster white, with hints of the GM's own mask at the edges and in the expression. It radiated a slight sort of energy.

Leif smiled, placed it within his infinite pack, before looking through it again. After a couple moments, he pulled out a dark red and purple mask that didn't cover the jaw, adorned with shamanistic beads and feathers. He placed it on, then smiled slightly again.

Heikichi was in awe when the Chimeratech Dragon relentlessly attacked the wraith.

"Nyah!!! I'm not messing with that thing...yet..."

Heikichi slunk away, back to the card shop, where he bought a 100 packs of a machine based set.

"I could construct another deck to combat it..."

Zarkus appeared in this weird, fragmented area. It was a cathedral, but broken up and surrounded by this red mist. The command to go there was impossible to be done by a regular GM, as the area had weird characters and letters that a normal keyboard wouldn't be able to make.

"This is an area... that I created. Its my safe zone... nobody can get here... I can make any deck I want and not have it registered in the actual data of the game."

Zarkus configured his deck, putting some of the strongest cards in the game in there. Banned or not.

"I... will defeat him now. Next time I find him."

Zarkus dissapeared again, appearing near Leif, but he didnt notice him.

Sigma moaned as a med team appaered and found him. 'This is Game Master Sigma. By the damage, he must've challenged that virus to a duel. The fool, he doesn't know what he got himself into' one of them stated and thye put him onto a stretcher.

He was put into the medical bay when a higher up appeared by his side. 'Why did you challenge the virus? You knew you stood no chance, what were you thinking?' he demanded. Sigma barely moved, except for one word. 'Friendship' he said. A small disc slides out from the disk. 'Recorded.....duel' he groaned. The man takes it and looks down. He vanishes in a strem of data.

OOC: This is epic, even with only 4 active people. Also, updated the front page in the plot on the front page with the amoun of LP the virus had.

Zarkus equipped his GM only flight items, and started viewing some beta areas, looking for traces of the virus. It lacked the traces, and only really applied to the closed off areas. Its a wonder that such a deadly virus targeted so few people... its intentions were unknown at the time.

A small, creepy-looking doll, set his gaze upon a bunch of apples hanging from the tree he rested his back upon. Zeiver, the doll, opened his mouth as wide as he could, which to a normal person would seem impossible, as he kept his ominous stare on the group of apples above him. If anyone were to come near him they would think he was an anime-based trashcan of some sort as he didn't move any of his limbs staring up, as if he was waiting for the apples to fall into his mouth. A curiously large squirrel crept up to Zeiver and crawled up into, and stood upon, his lap. The squirrel simply looked at him, tilting his head slightly. The odd doll simply sat there, like a statue. After a few minutes passed the squirrel placed it's front paws upon Zeiver's lips and looked into his mouth, sticking his head in slightly. Zeiver quickly shut his mouth together, clamping the critter's head inside as blood ran down his lips onto his neck...

Leif flinched slightly when another GM appeared fairly near him, but shrugged when it became apparent the GM wasn't about to notice him. He paused, cocking his head thoughtfully, before removing his mask. He paused thoughtfully, before pulling out a black fedora had, with an odd red feather poking out the side, and placing it on his cranium.

Leif shrugged, and sat by on a nearby rock. He pulled out his deck, looking for it as usual, then paused at a certain card.

'...Didn't this used to be an Ancient Telescope? Hm... I've never seen this card before.' He squinted at the effect, and blinked. 'Hm, but I'd think I did... this thing has very nice synergy with the rest of my deck... but how'd I get it? I don't recognize the production code on it...

He paused, then took out his GM mask, looking at it oddly. After a moment, he shrugged, put his deck back in his holster and the mask into his inventory.

Leif smirked through his new GM mask. It was...different, he supposed. He felt a lot more commands along with his normal ones while he wore it- a few of the functions generally only GMs had, he supposed. He wondered if the mask he made technically counted as cheating, but shrugged it off. It wouldn't have even been created if the Virus weren't there, plus they were one GM short anyway.

He cackled as he subliminally detected someone utilizing a -perhaps less than legal- program. He snuck up behind what appeared to be a child, using a hacking tool.

"What are you doing?" He asked, with a wide smile behind his mask.

Zarkus was wondering why the virus went quiet after his duel with Sigma. Possibly because of the crushing damage that was done to him. He teleported to a barren area that nobody ever seemed to went to, and activated his duel disk.

"I wonder... lets give this a shot."

Zarkus's aura started growing to immense sizes, seeing if he could lure the virus, or someone else, to the area. The aura itself probably could've been seen from the starting town if you were in a high enough building, but nobody really went exploring throughout town.

Sigma blinked slightly and realised that his mask had been taken off. He rises from his bed and feels his face, looking side to side to see his mask on the side of the bed. He grabs it and looks in annoyance. 'Better repair it' he mutters and begins to activate different controls. The mask glows and repairs, except a fragment was missing from it. 'I lost a fragment?' he questioned.

In a dark meeting room, the mysterious man appeared and addressed the others sitting at their chairs. 'It would seem that we have an interesting circumstance on our hands. The GM Sigma had dueled the virus and lost, but, he recorded the duel and I have viewed it, with some general interest. I will now play it for you men' he reported and sat down. The disc was placed into a slot and turned it on.

A cold sweat formed as a GM appeared behind him with his card creator interface open.

Damn...How do I get myself out of this one...

Heikichi closed his card maker app and turned around slowly.

"Oh hello Mr. GM nyah! How can..."

Heikichi snickered as his bot talked to the GM while he himself walked away from the scene.

Whew...A close one...

Leif snickered to himself as he listened to the boy speak to him. It was fairly obvious after a few minutes that the boy was a bot, but he hardly cared. He might have the abilities of a GM, but he didn't share the responsibilities.

Shrugging and walking away, he looked around for something to do.

Zarkus teleported to the GM room, but hid his appearence using a special skin that he negotiated with hackers to get, so nobody would notice his darker appearence and aura.

"Im sorry to interrupt, but I think the virus is planning something... or evolving. I tried to lure him to me, but he wouldnt come... he's been too quiet."

SIgma had gotten out of the med bed and stoo up, a little uncertainly. He acitvated a small interface and began scanning for his mask fragment, until he found a small signal that was the same as his own. Using a /goto command, he appeared right behind Leif. 'I request my mask fragment back, before I do something horrible to you' he warned.
