Bringing back an old RP concept with more different rules.

[spoiler=Storyline *UPDATED*]In a world where a virus ravages players of a game, most players don't even know it yet. When they log in near the location of the virus, a small charge is sent through their body. This can kill them, or give them severe heart problems (a la Hell Kaiser). The admins of this game found out that the virus is in a hacked player account, and when this player is defeated the virus will leave. Problem is, he is invisible unless you wish to challenge him, he had 500000 Lifepoints, and a very powerful deck, but was defeated by Zarkus after the semi-sacrifice of Sigma... however... The Virus now seems to be able to infect normal players, and even GMs such as Sigma, who is corrupting the game. Is it even possible to stop it now?

Current corruption level: 43%

[spoiler=BASIC INFO ]

Basically, its the original Virtual World arc (one with the Five-God-Dragon and the transvestite princess). Except after the 5Ds era. I'm the "game master" (some other players can be to) and basically play the role of the virus. You can duel each other (which you will while I'm not doing the storyline), but i or any other game master can interrupt you for purposes of story line.

[spoiler=RULES]

As far as the dueling goes, its phase by phase. You take your turn as normal, but your post should end at "Enter Battle Phase", then your opponent responds to moves you made during your Main Phase, then your post ends at "End Battle Phase" where your opponent can respond to attacks you made.

[spoiler=EXAMPLE]

Player 1: I draw! *enters Standby Phase* *enters main phase* I summon Vorse Raider and equip him with Axe of Despair! Enter Battle Phase!

Player 2: In response to your Axe, I activate Solemn Judgement to negate it!

Player 1: Vorse Raider, attack Player 2 directly! End Battle Phase!

Player 2: In response to your attack, I flip Mirror Force!

Player 1: I set 2 cards face-down and end my turn.

You start with a 8000 lifepoint max.

No Exodia/instant win decks.

No massively overpowered or invincible made-up cards.

No godmoding.

No FTK's (First Turn Kills)

Note: None of these rules apply to the Virus. He NEVER gains his Life Points back.

ANY game master can fufill the role of the virus, even if you have your own player. You just can't defeat him in a duel.

Duels can be tag-team or 2-5 v 1, but the one player has their max lifepoints multiplied by the number of opponents for the duration of the duel. (regular duels only)

This RP wont end just when the virus is defeated.

The Duels can either be normal, or free-roam (initial virtual world arc).

Use your imagination, dont be too basic!

[spoiler=Accepted Applicants]

Name: Zeiver

Deck: Dark Synchro-based deck. ( I can post a decklist if needed. )

Appearance: My forum pic. >_> Yes..My character's appearance in-game is a Sephiroth doll.

Background: A recently-killed duelist transformed into a Dark Signer. Out of boredom decided to try an MMO so he has something to do while not defeating Signers.

Name: Leif Sennes

Deck:Reaper Slash - Deck based around the use of the card "One Strike Kill! Card Slash!" (Referred to simply as 'Card Slash' in GX), and an archetype known as 'Reapers', who provide useful prediction and deck-thickening effects to use for Card Slash's effect. Deck recipe can be provided upon request.

Appearance: Wears a black shirt with white pants, a green trench coat, and has long black hair. Often wears a variety of odd hats, ranging from bowler hats to his Sherlock-holmes style 'Sleuthing hat'. His face is angular, mostly pointed and it makes him look small and meek, despite him being at least 6'3. He has large, wide green eyes, a small mouth and regular sized nose.

Carries with him a variety of masks, which he seems to pull from absolutely nowhere. His personality seems to shift depending on what mask he wears, and for what reason.

Background: Leif is a former actor, who has a minor mental issue with method acting, causing him to adopt other personalities at the drop of a hat; he isn't one to make friends or enemies, and will not get attached to much. People who he has a grudge against either have vengeance taken against them swiftly, or have the grudge forgotten.

Name: Sigma

Deck: The Black Serenade

Appearance: Wears and odd looking mask with two of his ash grey bangs coming out over the top. His ash grey hair his done up in a pony-tail at the back, which reaches his shoulders. He wears a kaiba style coat and long brown pants, his shirt is lavender in colour. He finishes this with a pair of knee high black boots.

Background: A sort of internet junkie, he always uses an alias instead of his name. He prefers not to give out information to most people, just clearly saying that that is classified information. Who he is really like, not many people know. The only thing about him people do know is that he adores classical music, primarily because whenever he is around they can atually hear it.

OoC: I'll help save this.

Name: Heikichi Murasame

Deck: Dark World Deck

Appearance: [spoiler=Picture]heikichi.jpg

Background: An eccentric rich kid. Even though his deck is rather evil, he himself is very childlike and seems to end every sentence with nyah.

Name: Kai Miyuki - Ayumi Miyuki (See Background)

Deck: The Raging Storm. (This deck primairly uses Burn/Heal cards with emphasis on WIND and WATER attribute monsters. It consists of many of my custom cards I made on YCM. Deck recipe can be given on request of course.)

Appearance: http://www.freewebs.com/crimsonaura/TsuK...%20Elk.jpg (Blue is Kai, White is Ayumi)

Background: The boy Kai Miyuki was always picked on because he was the most poorest of all the kids in his school. He was a top student yes, but it was only his academic excellence that allowed him to set foot nto the academy, which was reserved for those with fabulous wealth. To remedy his self confidence, Kai made a second personality for himself, his twin sister Ayumi. She was modeled after Kai's true older sister who passed on years before. Darkness enveloped the hole in his heart however, and he wanted everyone to suffer the same way he had, even though his other personality (Ayumi) tries to bring him back to reality. He acquired the position of Game Master soon after, quickly indulging himself with the "virus incident".

Name: Kent

deck: Wrath of the Blue-Eyes

appearance: Brown eye, gray eye (2 different color eyes), about the height of Jaden, more tame version of Yugi's hair.

background: Kent was a normal 16 year old, playing Duel Monsters. He admired Kaiba, for whatever reason, and he saw he had developed a VR program. Kaiba was als givinng a tour and showinng it to 10 select people. All they had to do (By now, Pegasus made more copies...) was how him, at the door to KaibaCorp, 3 copies of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and 1 copy of the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to gain entry. Kent was able to obtain these cards and, as a twist, Kaiba told him and the group that they would all be testing the system out. And that's how it all began...

Accepted. Now excuse me while I write up a good intro for the story.

"N... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Virus: 500000 life points

Arthias27: 0

A group of people were viewing the event from a screen. Typical "round table" set up with about 10 seats, but only 7 people there.

They were talking.

"Thats it, one of our best game masters has died trying to stop the virus... it didn't lose a singe lifepoint..."

"Shouldn't we just shut down the game and reset everything?"

"No, that wouldn't do anything. This virus travels through the internet period. Only way to get rid of it is to destroy it"

"Im starting to think that this wasn't caused by a computer..."

*end exposition*

OOC: Don't blame me for the lack of creativity. Im tired D:

(OOC; Sorry, I was gone for a couple days)

Leif walked around the virtual scenery with a giant smile plastered on his face.

That was literal; the smile was actually affixed to his face via plaster mask, which has a large, jokerish smile painted upon its surface. The mask was quite large, colored white along the border and had a black interior.

This was offset slightly by the wearer's odd black barrette, perched upon his cranium, in stark contrast to the lower part of the assembly. He appeared almost as a Voodo Frenchman, concocting some odd ritual.

The figure played the part as well, jumping erratically and waving his limbs violently like an insane beast, looking around for something or someone to take note of him.

Sigma was continuing to check for maintenance spots when he caught sight of several duels in progress. 'I thought this area was closed for maintenance, then again, I just alert the maintenance, so no problems. Still, too bad for Athias, he didn't stand a chance tot he virus. Talk about a hacked deck, we would need a legion of duelists just to defeat it.' He marked the maintenance spots and sent a message back to the admin hub. 'Job done' he said and went to change servers.
