Realistic or Pop Culture?

LostLetter227

Question

So I'm deciding where I'm going to post my Romance of The Three Kingdoms cards. ( Wu, Wei and Shu )

But I'm having a rather difficult time because:

- The Battle of The Three Kingdoms is a real historical event. So it belongs in Realistic.

- I'm using Dynasty Warriors Character Art. So shouldn't it belong in Pop Culture?

- The thing is, I am in no way connecting it to DW, even if I'm using their pics.

- I'm making them of real people in the past.

So uh, is it in realistic or pop culture?

I'm sure it doesn't really matter.

Just post it wherever you want' date=' and if a mod wants to move it, let them.

I could try that. Though I risk being shouted at.

Dynasty Warriors isn't completely true to the story of the Three Kingdoms' date=' and neither is the novel.

Plus, you're using Dynasty Warriors character art, so it belongs in Pop Culture (Koei made up what weapons people used).

No comment on the first point.

And for your second point, thats why I suggested Pop Culture.

realistic section is for cards that are realistic as in' date=' actually could be real cards.

pop culture is only for threads with cards of shows. images no.

I suggest Any other.

The cards I'm making COULD be real cards. <.<

Ever wonder how the Moai got into Yugioh?

No, Pop Culture is for any Cards related to Pop Culture; including Games and Novels.

Why no comment? It's true, the events in the novel and game aren't true to the history.

Pop Culture would be the best place.

Also, don't worry about "being shouted at" lol, I'm sure they don't mind, it doesn't take much effort to move a thread. :P

Heh, well, I'm basing my cards on the novel, which bases its story on the real events. :P

I'll try pop culture then. I guess this can be locked.

but for pictures it doesn't matter. you can use any picture for realistic cards.

but if the cards are based around a show/novel/game then they go in pop culture, the images can still be from them even if the cards are not.

Dynasty Warriors originated from The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which originated from history.

Taking into account that the pictures depict people from the game, and not from history, we must realise that the Cards are therefore based on the [game] and not [history] as although the Name of the Card may be from history, the Picture is not. And considering Card Lore cannot be based on history or the game then the Cards are based on the game, so they belong in Pop Culture.
