Why do people ask if something is still broken? No matter how much the meta changes the card's effect will always be the same and seeing how it's the same broken effect it had when it was banned' date=' it should remain banned.

Thousand Eyes Restrict?

Instant Fusion

I dont see how TER is still banworthy, especially with all the removal we have nowadays.

...Touche'

But would TER really be that game changing nowadays? I dont think he would have ANY sort of impact if unbanned and left at 1, in both this meta and period.

Lets see...

Instant Fusion=pay 1000 destroy a monster...there is no other efficient way that I can think of that brings TER out. It's not on the field long enough for removal to matter, and the only other card that can realy do anything is torrential and solemn...it would still be fun though 8)

On Topic: Last will is even more OP'd with synchro summoning...freakin Airabellum!

Putting a fusion at 1 is pro. Fusions should be at 3 or 0 since putting them at 1 doesn't change anything.

Instant Fusion + TER is Brain Control that costs 200 more points. Just now you have three.

Their is also the fact that Metamorphosis should be unbanned and with that unbanned TER should never be at 3.

what? TER legal?

you don't want to promote extreme stalling with a fairly easy to summon Level 1...specially if that monster doesn't have summoning restrictions such as "except by fusion summon" or " with the above fusion material monsters"... that + the fact that TER steals a monster from your opponent (usually the strongest) and uses it as the only monster that can attack...

yeah, sure, at 3 .... definitely..[/sarcasm]

EDIT on topic:

this discusion about Last Will seems too one-sided to me =/ (I guess there is not much to say, everyone pretty much agrees this is OP,.....I'll go try it in a Traditional Deck :D )

Couldn't this be an exception to the rule? I mean at 1 it would be a Brain Control that costs 200 more. Your words right there, and according to your post the problem would be it being at 3 and yet you said putting them at 1 doesnt change anything-...

Im confused.

I mean sure it can be reused when you SS it, but I doubt anyone with half a brain would waste a Monster Reborn on it. Of course, The Dark Creator opens up a whole new can of worms, but I dont know if it should stay banned just because of that.

Well since now we are talking about instant noodles, lets ponder how this and instant fusion can work?

Eg. Activate last will, instant fusion, get flame swordsman, summon or E-tele tuner, synchro.

Get last wills effect and summon whatever is needed.

Works wonders in monarchs.

Because it just so happens that Brain Control should also be at 0.

Why wouldn't they? Revive it, suck up their strongest monster, swing if it's an open field. Next turn, if they manage to summon anything stronger, it can't attack. Swing into it, lose the monster equipped, MP2, suck up the new strongest monster.

If they can't summon anything stronger, you're already winning the duel.

If they hit you with Smashing or Fissure, it doesn't matter much since you already gave them a -1 by sucking up their monster.

Also, Limit Reverse and Graceful Revival.

Is it really how it works? I mean, maybe what I have here is old OCG but Relinquished specifies in the effect that if it would be destroyed by battle, you can just get rid of the equip. But in Thousand Eyes Restrict it says that "1 monster at a time" thing and everything else except the sentense where it can prevent its destruction by battle. =/

"Relinquished" + "Thousand-Eyes Idol"

As long as this card remains face-up on the field' date=' other monsters cannot change their battle positions or attack. Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field, and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per turn, and you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card). The ATK and DEF of this card become the same amounts as the monster equipped to this card. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, the equipped monster is destroyed instead.[/quote']

They can't attack and therefore the designers didn't feel the need to put in the regular protection so unfortunatly Sleepy is right but then again it's still insane...

um no :( I just checke lolwikia.

It seems that part of the effect was added in a newer version' date=' also, it does say that in your quote at the end of the effect.

sorry about the confusion ^-^"

[/quote']

Wow now I feel like a total idiot...well kids don't skim...still the only use for that tack on effect is with the whole self ram thing.

... Back on the topic of Last Will, there are so many ways to send monsters to the grave it's not even funny. Even back then when there were no Synchros and the only way to send was to tribute, it was still too easy of a card to use. It might have been iffy and maybe arguable back before TDGS, but with the advent of Synchros, there's just about zero chance this thing would ever come back. <_<

But then again, it's Konami...

I got like 5 of them' date=' don't like it, never will.

[b']Should I take this that you think the card is bad or what?[/b]

I'm mostly from the old days.

This is one of the oldest cards in the game

Yup.

Pretty much.

I think Last Will was one of the first cards ever printed. It was in Yugi's structure deck wasn't it?

Nope it wasnt, bought my first deck when i was 6 and it didn't contain Last Will.
