1 Good + 1 Fail Strategy

first the good one...

Use Inferno tempest to remove all monsters in the deck and graveyard from play, then use return from the different dimension to bring back any five of them, then use Imperial iron wall to stop them from being removed from play again.

Then the fail...

My friend built a deck that is just... EPIC FAIL... He has the five exodia pieces and 30 cards are spells that make him draw(reload, magical mallet, pot of greed) and 5 are weak flip effects that make him draw(skelangel).

The first one is painfully obvious. And DD return is Limited. It is, however, possible to make an OTK but summoning Grinder Golem, attack him with the tokens, activate Tempest, remove, then when you can activate DD return choosing monsters equaling 8k LP. However, it involves cards on your opponent's side of the field and a limited card.

The second one is just silly.

Hold on, I think I'm missing something here. Aside from the 5 Skelengel and the Pot of Greed that make the second combo illegal, how does the deck fail?

If I didn't miss something important, it would usually be a turn one win unless Horus the Black Flame Dragon or Anti-Spell Fragrance were on the field, neither of which are used much (except for maybe Fragrance in Reactors, which isn't used often in itself so...).
