Monster Card Types: It's just... A type. Some effects will affect certain types. It serves as a target for those effects.

Normal: A plain card with no effect. Yellow.

Effect: A monster with an effect. There are 3 types of effects; Ignition, Continous and Flip.

Divine: Anime type.

Gemini: A normal monster that gets an effect when its effect is activated on the field. It counts torwards your normal summon.

Spirit: A monster that cannot be Special Summoned. It returns to the owner's hand during each End Phase.

Tuner: A monster that is used to Synchro Summon a monster. The Synchro Material(s) and the tuner must equal the level of the monster you're going to Synchro Summon.

ALL ATTRIBUTES ARE THE SAME, NO MATTER THE TYPE OF CARD IT'S ON.

Spell Card Types: ...

None: A normal Spell Card. Can't be chained to but can be chained at. Spell Speed 3.

Equip: Stay's on field, needs a target. Can't be chained to but can be chained at. Spell Speed 3.

Continuous: Stay's on field. Can't be chained to but can be chained at. Spell Speed 3.

Counter: No such thing.

Quick-Play: Can be chained to and chained at. Cannot be activated during turn it's set. Can be activated during opp's turn if set during turn before. Spell Speed 2.

Field: Stay's on field. Can't be chained to but can be chained at. Spell Speed 3.

Ritual: Needs corresponding Ritual Monster in hand. Tribute monsters from your hand equal to the level of the Ritual Monster.

 

Trap Card Types: All cannot be activated during turn it's set.

None: Normal Trap Cards. Can be chained to and chained at. Spell Speed 2.

Equip: No such thing unless if you're talking about Blast with Chain

Continuous: Stay's on the field. Can be chained to and chained at. Spell Speed 3.

Counter: Can be chained to and chained at ONLY by other Counter Trap Cards. Spell Speed 1.

Quick-Play: No such thing.

Field: No such thing.

Ritual: No such thing.
