Guest Supreme Gamesmaster

Name: Supreme Gamesmaster Yddisac

Reason for wanting to join: I'm a mage. I've screwed with time. 'Nuff said.

Skills: Everything you mentioned and more. I'm a deity in FF and RP, am writing a novel, have a fairly successful webcomic... And I'm a mage in actuality.

Slayers magic is the best I've seen. And by far the most effective; it hardly stops at an explosion worthy of an atomic bomb...

On another note' date=' Golems are incredibly useful.

[/quote']

Aye, so long as you don't fuse them into anything.

Final Fantasy' date=' what character are you?

I wish I could say Cloud, but I'm not that awesome.

[/quote']

I'm the Black Mage from FFI.

@The Plot: Dibs on control of the Elder sector. I've got a helluva druid in mind.

Newtopic: Fire Emblem; which mage are you? I'm a Druid for certain, or a Warlock, though that class doesn't exist.

*LeGasp*

For an FF character I would be Red XIII.

For a Fire Emblem mage' date=' I'm probably gonna go with Thunder Mage.

[/quote']

Sage, that is. :D

Or a Mage Knight, or a Druid. :?

Well, Mage is good enough. We get the anima implications.

Oh come on, what exactly is wrong with Gorons, other than the fact that they're slow, easy to beat, and stupid...... oh wait.

And yeah, for FF character, I can't really choose, but if I had to choose a class I would choose Biskmatar (only exists in FF Tactics Advance).

Awesome mage-knight, on par with Ultima in terms of magic power.

Imma Mage Knight. I can never decide between close or magical combat.

FF Character I would be Wakka. I try not to get depressed' date=' and I love my religion, which is nothing.

[/quote']

For the record, Mage Knights don't wield weapons; they're just mages with worse caps on horses.

Wakka' date=' greatness.

What was the first FF game you ever played?

Mine was a copy of FF 10 my friend had.

[/quote']

FFI. Still the best one, though FFIX gives it a run for its money; if not for the crappy-as-hell Limit Breaks and Quina, it'd probably top the open-ended original.

1) The Ocarina of Time ones.

2) The question was about Fire Emblem, which is far superior to Final Fantasy.

Sorry' date=' hadn't noticed you had changed the topic.

My problem with Fire Emblem is the lack of changes between the games.

Everything feels like a re-hash to me.

Meh. The thing is, the system is so stable, the new stuff just makes it worse. For example: They tried to switch things up with Biorhythm and triple promotions in Radiant Dawn.

Needless to say, Radiant Dawn was the worst FE since Thracia 776.

Welcome aboard, ZeroG.

Radiant Dawn wasn't THAT bad.

I do admit I prefer Path of Radiance over it. =/

And Sword of the Seal over it, and Gaiden over it, and Blazing Sword over it, and Sacred Stones over it...

The FE games are all good, so it's not so hard to be the worst. My order:

Sacred Stones

Blazing Sword

Gaiden

Sword of the Seal

Original

Path of Radiance

Radiant Dawn

Genealogy of the Holy War

Thracia 776

Of course, plot-wise, Gale pwnz everything.

Note the curiosities of Anima magic. Most Mages, Sages, Mage Knights/Horse Mystics, and Druids are proficient in all shamanistic, or Anima, spells; however, there are occasionally preferences for one branch of shamanism. Such preferences are usually towards spirit shamanism (*cough*Zelgadis*cough*), which bears close arithmantic ties to other Anima magics, but is usually practiced separately due to its similarity to the light shamanistic arts.

Debate the arithmancy of shamanism, and how such preferences can form within a single discipline of magic.
