Force_Flex
[align=center]If you've seen the comments in youtube, you'll see a spam button. If you press that on someone else's post, it will be hidden because of spam.I know this is asking a lot on YCMaker but maybe you could implement something like that here? It'll tell you who said that was spam, and you can press a button that shows the post. If the post wasn't spam, they get a warning.Again, I know this is asking a lot of you YCMaker but it's just a suggestion. Umbra
Then maybe they should start doing that, just in case they want to be a little less of a parasite than usual.
Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Summary of Umbra's post, before I read it: it won't work. gtfo. *reads topic* Huh. Well, this is completely redundant. "Report" exists, y'know, and if you don't hit the button, it's your own fault.
§hadow §triker
Don't support. LostLetter227 and BloodRose said it. And anyways, if a lot of ppl don't use the report button to report a spam, why would they use the spam button. What difference does it make. Kale
there is a report button, but that is usually slow and uneventful, especially when your friendly neighborhood moderator isnt around. i like the idea, but maybe some tweaking. maybe when they click this new button, you would have to state a reason why it is that it is being hidden. This will then be sent to the mods like any other report, and if they deem it fair they will keep it as is. if not, undue it and a percentage warning issued. it would really help keep the spam away, so that others dont comment on it as it continues to stay there, and if it isnt declared spam then it would just reappear in the thread. no biggie. it seems like a good idea, better than the report and wait method. i would support under a more revised idea, similar to mine. ;)

Xing
Good idea! Have stupid n00bs saying every post that's not their's is spam to overload YCMaker and mods is a great idea! [/sarcasm] It's called the report button, like everyone else said. If you're to lazy to press it, well, you're problem. Not ours.

.Requiem
This is a stupid idea. Really you guys won't be lazy and flag a post, but you can't simply press the report button.
~Shore
the reason you can hide comments on YouTube is because its YOU tube, as in, its your page. This is not your page, so you wait for the mods to hide it when you report it. Its that simple.
Brendano Harns
Support. I know there is a report button, but some things you deem as spam may not be so bad to the mods. It would also let them focus on worse forms of spam, an continual spammers.
