I cast Tempus Frangit, breaking myself into 2 identical clones, each with half of my current stamina. (When one clone would be destroyed, it dissolves and merges back into me instead.) I then direct my clone to go to the front lines, and start weaving a protective spellshield, while I remain in the back.

Mineku speeds forward and slashes at the archer. He moves forward to the giant and wraps shadow taboo energy around the giant's legs...

Unfortunately' date=' you dive headlong into the fire wall and just manage to pull yourself out, disabling you momentarily as you tend to your burns.

I finish my spell and transform into a grizzly bear, however due to Rinne's spell, I am significantly larger. I act as a meatshield for Zexaeon and pummel any goblins coming my way.

The Goblin Warrior cackles and suddenly his wooden shields transforms into a sharp golden disc, and flings it directly at your neck. The disc twirls and slashes at the party before combusting, but luckily you managed to protect Zexaeon.

I summon Valefor and the beast uses Energy Blast (2nd and more powerful OD)

Your summoning caught the Warrior off guard' date=' and the goblin squeals in horror as it is consumed by the blast, killing it. The Mage cries out in dismay and his focus is disrupted, and the ring of fire diminishes into ashes.

My senses seem to come back to me slowly as I watch all the protective barriers shattering for my sake. All worth it, however.

"White Wind!" I cry as I launch my charged bullet into the air - the bullet explodes into a gust of holy energy that encirles the party, restoring 30% of the parties remaining HP, while buffing elemental resistences temporarily and curing the party of ailments (such as prone and slow).

With my now normal speed returning, I take another action, opting to attack normally. I aim my gun over the fire ring and fire upon the Goblin Archer.

You raise your bullet above yourself, and shoot it upwards. The Archer saw this move just in time, and aimed an arrow upwards detonating the bullet. But, a piece of shrapnel managed to strike the goblin, dealing it some damage.

Your clone jumps to the front lines, positioned aggressively in front of the Wolf Rider and Mage.

I counter the ring of fire by releasing torrents of circling water from my Mage's Staff.

The torrents of water gush out of your staff' date=' but suddenly the Giant chooses to make his move. Letting out a savage and primal roar, the goblins quickly move out of the way for higher ground. The Mountain Giant's mace strikes the ground, causing a savage earthquake, shattering the ground before the party and causing an enormous fissure to sprout of the ground, consuming Rinne's clone, Leo Cantus, the Taboo bears and Valefor. The entire party is knocked prone to the assault.[/b']

I use my beast knowledge to convince the wolf to betray it's rider, to force him to dismount and attack him. I then cast Feral Magnitude, which causes an earthquake and spawns Lesser Dire Bears. I order them to attack the Giant's feet.

((Since I'm in bear form, may I have the ability to be prone to stuns?))

My eyes widen as I take the blow from the shockwave, but not for the reason of damage - although that was quite painful - but because my magic just increased.

Smirking darkly, I realize a new skill has been added to my repetoir. I stumble to my feet, still shaky after being knocked prone (my ballance clearly being affected), and charge my newest bullet.

"I can deal some serious damage if you guys keep me safe. Oh, and Rinne," I say, calling to him. "If you've got any healing abilities, now's the time to use them."

That said, I focus as I charge my new Blue Bullet - Shockwave.

[The Cantus was absorbed by me earlier... That's why I have the taboo energy under control so freely...]

The taboo turns around and covers Mineku for healing properties' date=' and then smothers out the fires nearby... Mineku takes a knee and coats himself in energy...

[/quote']

Due to being knocked prone, you are unable to assume the correct stance to begin harnessing the energy.

I cast Holy Blessing over the party' date=' regaining stamina.

[/quote']

You manage to concentrate enough energy to regain some of the party's hit points, healing the party.

The Wolf howls back aggressively back at you- it's loyalty to it's rider is near fanatical. Your attack shakes the earth beneath the Giant, but instead it backfires as the fissure widens, almost engulfing the party. Most of the Lesser Dire Bears tumble into the abyss, but the rest manage to lunge at the bare flesh of the Mountain Giant's feet, but the Giant's past experiences gets it to kick the Bears off, but not before doing some damage to the Giant's feet.

You begin charging your new Blue Bullet, which will take up about 4 more turns. Meanwhile, the Wolf Rider and Mage begin their descension of the ledge.

Mineku frustrated with the energy attempt fail, sends forward energy that takes the appearance of black flames and engulfs the two descending the mountain. Mineku then commands one bear towards the giant's torso, the bear ascends into the air. The other bear attacks the goblins descending the mountain, as backup incase the flames fail...

I run up to the Mountain Giant before the Wolf Rider and Goblins hit solid ground, equip my Lances/Polearms/Spears, a Dragon Lance and the Gungnir. I then use Jump. My Jump is aimed at the Mountain Giant, as even though the Protectors (Wolf Rider and Goblins) are infront of the Giant, I can Jump past the Protectors and hit the Mountain Giant.

I' date=' The Crimson Sage, Cast Areoja (Basically Creating a Hurricane that is under my Control) Which Engulfs all Enemies, Hopefully inflicting a Lot of damage, and due to the Dizzying effect of the attack, Slow

[/quote']

You manage to activate Aeroja, and fling the hurricane at the mountain giant. But, the Giant let out a laugh, and swinging his mace cut through the weakened hurricane like a knife through hot butter.

The flames ascend yet weaken as they burn up ascending the ledge, and when they reached the two goblins the Mage raised his staff and out went a column of water, engulfing the flames. The bears are at the bottom of the fissure.

You attempt to, but your unable to jump due to being knocked prone. The goblins hit solid ground, and the Mage cackles and unleashed a Protective barrer in front of the Giant.

I impliment the spell Icicle Cannon' date=' in which long, spear-like icicles blast out of my staff towards the Goblins like arrows.

The Goblin Mage is taken aback by this course of action, and the Goblin Archer manages to send some Scattering Arrows at the icicles just in time, but some managed to hit the two goblins, who roared in pain.

My team seems to be in a bit of a bind, especially considering many of their attacks are having no effect. I direct a soft glare in the Black Paladin's direction - his spell has been rerady for quite some time, and yet he seems to still be waiting for the opportune moment.

I decide to take a brief respite from my Bullet, only getting half a turn's worth of charge as a result, and reach into my item bag, throwing out a grenade against the incoming Goblin Mage.

After all, it's common knowledge that even the mightyest mages might not be prepared for the most mundane of physical threats.

Mineku gathers more energy and forces the fissure uphill. He pushes great strength into it' date=' to take the goblins, and the giant off course...

"Somebody help me with this!"

He said as the torrent of energy battled against the waves of the fissure...

[/quote']

The fissure suddenly echoes upward, moving it uphill. The sudden jolt knocks the Archer unawares and tumbles off of the ledge, hitting the ground hard as it comes down, and stunning it. Meanwhile, the fissure has widened, separating the Wolf Rider and Archer from the Mage and mountain giant. Suddenly, the ground beneath you begins to shake. The fissure uprooted the ledge, and any great force (such as the Giant's Shockwave attack) will collapse the ledge, causing an enormous avalanche. You will have to defeat the Giant before it does it's shockwave...

The grenade is thrown over the crevasse, and the Mage is caught unawares as he attempts to steady himself from the widening of the fissure. The grenade hits the mage and explodes, but the mage managed to create a weak magical barrier just in time. But the grenade still did damage. Roaring angrily, the Mage raised his staff and let loose a flurry of sharp ice down on the party, doing scattered damage.

"A-OK' date=' Cappy!" Giving a nod to my teammate, I raise my staff, and cast Fountain of Youth, sending a burst of healing water across my teammates.

[/quote']

The Healing water spreads across the team, invigorating them and healing most of their wounds. Suddenly, a tomahawk appears in the Goblin Wolf Rider's hand, and howling the chief bounds toward the party, delivering a devastating slash across them. The wolf bares it's fangs, and the Wolf Rider yells in savage bloodlust.

I cast Shell and Protect on the party.

You cast the two strong protective barriers around the party' date=' shielding them from any oncoming attacks.

I whip up Air Slicer, which sends out wisps of wind as sharp as blades in a small, tornado-like fashion, which I aim at the Goblin Mage and Wolf Rider.

The Goblin Mage is ready this time, and he raises his staff and casts Reflega, sending the Air Slicer back at the party.

Mineku regains posture after the back shock. His calculating mind reads the party's situation, and he yells to the party,

"Urge great force on the giant! His next shockwave could bring the whole mountainside to avalanche!"

And with those words, his fully focused and energized mind brings forth the inner chimera, at this point which has collected energy over some turns, storing little by little, for a better attack. He points both palms towards the giant and charges energy, the black maelstrom swirls in front of him, as he prepares to release his next attack, the Eye of the Chimera - DeathWish #1...

And to this, his focus must remain, he yells to his party members, "Keep me protected! I need to focus for this next one!" Informing them of his attack, if pulled off right, he could attack the giant one round before his shockwave, and not only do damage, but interrupt his attack...

I raise an eyebrow at Minkeu as he calls for protection - 'well, I suppose it could help...bit I totally need protection too...ah well, maybe I can rely on the Protect and Shell spells.' I think to myself as my Bullet charges.

With the aid of the Haste magic cast upon me, I am able to claim an additional charging turn, leavcing me with only 1/2 of a turn's worth of charging left before I can unleash my own Shockwave...and with the shaky condition of the ground, it's liable to be the end of the Giant (and maybe a couple Goblins, too).

I smirk. "Yeah, help out Mineku, but don't forget about me. This bullet can pretty much end this if I'm able to fire it. And when I do," I say, looking at the Archer. "Don't let him interrupt me this time."

Turns left till Shockwave - 1/2
