HORUS
I actually disliked Tool when I first heard them, then a few months later I listened to them again and they are now my favourite band. I used to think Cannibal Corpse was gross, so I never listened to them. Then I reconsidered, and I love them. I used to think Iron Maiden was lame, but then I listened to their Brave New World album and my life changed.

╬「Selatcia」╬
Slipknot, about a couple years ago, and thats mainly because 1) I thought it didn't sound all that great at the time. 2) All the metalheads at my school listened to them and I didn't want to be like a mindless zombie and go with the crowd. But, obviously, I listened to them again, and I like them. (They're not my favorite, though).
Blue Lightning
Metallica. I was 8 and the first song I heard was i think a really bad cover on youtube. Then about a year ago my cousin was playing Enter Sandman and I loved it.

Lucky bastard ;) It wasn't the album art that threw me off though because they were one of the first Death Metal band I listened to and my ears were still weak at the time =P
