Amethyst Phoenix
I made this brazier from clay. I first made the base and the ball seperate from each other and fired them. Then I glazed the brazier with black lustre glaze and the orb with royal blue, I then fired them seperately again. The Orb can be picked up off the brazier, which is hollow. It has three of those little "prongs" you can see that hold up the orb, while creating negative space. The whole thing stands about 6 inches tall and was photographed by me. It was placed on a folding table with a white towel draped over it (in case it fell over). Brazier: A container for fire, generally taking the form of an upright standing or hanging metal bowl or box. Used for holding burning coal as well as fires, a brazier allows for a source of light, heat, or cooking.

Καsτοr
This is great. Like people said, orb is lopsided. But its still great!*Thumbs Up!*
Amethyst Phoenix
By lopsided do you mean it's leaning to one side? I think I know why it looks like that. See that white space underneath the orb and above the brazier? That's actually the unglazed bottom of the orb. I couldn't glaze that part, or it would've fused to the kiln shelf when I fired it.
