TAG
The 1967 one of course. So that makes 3 films in the old days I never watched *sigh* Fine. I'm counting it. Casino Royal Climax!, Casino Royale 1967, Thunderball, and Tomorrow Never Dies. As for your previous comment, it seems as though people did seem to like the whole comedy approach. I'll just have to watch it to see if I agree.
ragnarok1945
Personally I'm not too sure the 007 series should have the comedy approach. Obviously don't make it too serious, but too much comedy isn't realistic for its genre
TAG
Well, maybe the film wasn't exactly trying to take itself seriously. Idk. Until I see the film for myself, I'm not exactly sure why the comedy approach was well-received.
ragnarok1945
it WAS the 60s, maybe the threat of nuclear war meant we needed some humor. I'd have to see the film myself too, if I knew where to look for it

Goldfinger involved blowing up Fort Knox with an atomic bomb.
ragnarok1945
You know regarding You Only Live Twice, the US and Japan had only been allies for barely 10 years, I'd have thought the American impression of the Japanese was still hatred
