13s unlucky 1
REMEMBER yes. But that is in the past. Name one good widely used normie in the current metagame. There is only 2 Normal Tuners and only 1 is even slightly useful. Without that Normals dont provide much to any strategy.
~Emo~
REBD is by far the best vanilla.
13s unlucky 1
REBD yes provides some usefullness and has 2 fairly good normal fusions. if a deck with all normal monsters could be built it would be around REBD and its fusions since all materials are Normal and in thus safe with NON-Spellcasting and useful with Heart of the Underdog
metalflygon08
some vanilla's are interesting, like the gogo series, but some overexagerate a monster.
13s unlucky 1
Normies can be interesting true, but worthy of our consideration i dont think so. they provide attack points. Not much else

Guest JoshIcy
Vanilla Turbo Decks can be fun (made one on DMU), but they aren't anywhere near as good as many other decks out there. Also, Vanillas are toilet paper with flavor text on them that you can read before you wipe. If you want Flavor Text and still be creative, go play MTG. Yugioh cards weren't meant to have that on cards.
~Emo~
BEWD,REBD, and DM are the only vanilla's with real support.
Guest JoshIcy
BEWD' date='REBD, and DM are the only vanilla's with real support.[/quote'] Irrelevant Post much? All those cards are not really needed to have support. You can run Cosmo Queen etc in a vanilla Turbo deck. These just have the extra support and searches etc. And make them easier to run. (Lol Decoy Dragon is actually nice after dumping BEWD or REBD even if just for a single attack). But it still remains, you don't need "real support". Existing vanilla support is enough to make a hearty deck.
13s unlucky 1
Besides the general cards that support all Normies yes that is true. And they are some of the only that see seirous play
~Emo~
My REBD deck is tournament material. I got 2nd at my locals. So cards that Support the monster are good. In a DM deck you don't just want vanilla support.

A deck is considered tournament material maybe if it gets second at a Shonen Jump tounament or Reginoal

Santi :D
I lol'd at the post. Vanillas over level 5 have support, I can't remember the card names but like the spell that adds 1 level 5 or higher vanilla and then the summoning one.
