ragnarok1945
so which one was the best driving stage and which was the worst? I already know there's a snowmobile stage, the car vanquish stage, the sub vanquish stage, the security SUV stage, and the ultralight fighter aircraft stage. TAG
so which one was the best driving stage and which was the worst? I already know there's a snowmobile stage' date=' the car vanquish stage, the sub vanquish stage, the security SUV stage, and the ultralight fighter aircraft stage.[/quote'] IMO, my favorite was the Vanquished one. I guess my least favorite was the Aircraft (You don't actually control the craft; you only control the turret. Same with the snowmobile stage, but that goes into a ski lodge, in which 007 yells "Sorry! We forgot to make a reservation!", which I find pretty amusing.) ragnarok1945
yeah well doesn't matter. I'm sure all stages have enough ammo, and my accuracy on moving vehicles isn't that bad. Still, most people I know seemed to hate the submarine vanquished stage the most.

Is that why?
ragnarok1945
Actually I think a lot of people said they found that level had no save points, and some areas (like underwater mines) depended too much on luck to get past rather than skill

I forgot it had no save points. But the mines weren't really a problem for me.
ragnarok1945
plus I think the console version might have been easier due to a greater life bar. In the console, the health and body armor meter are two different things. In the PC, it's all one bar, to which if you're at half health and you pick up body armor it'll just recharge your health back to 100%

ragnarok1945
Exactly There is no body armor bar at all. So unless the enemy AI in the console version does twice the damage the PC version does, the former is easier
TAG
Wow, that must suck. Although the body armor does squat against explosives.
ragnarok1945
Well that's true in the PC version as well.

ragnarok1945
hey, the body armor is only designed to protect you against bullets No one ever intended for you to test it against rockets and such

Still, if the car can pick up body armor, then the body armor should be bomb-proof. :P
ragnarok1945
yeah but the vanquish was already designed to withstand much explosions (as seen from Die Another Day film), so there's no need Though I wish you really COULD use the camouflage option like in the film

ragnarok1945
Yeah but that'd make stealth missions too easy Unless the objective was you had to complete the stealth mission without firing a single shot
TAG
Yeah but that'd make stealth missions too easy Unless the objective was you had to complete the stealth mission without firing a single shot Ooh, that would be interesting. Actually, now that I think about it, they could've done that (except for the one part where you had to destroy the communications node.
ragnarok1945
you weren't listening to what I didn't say. I said no SHOT fired. I didn't say no EXPLOSIONS
TAG
you weren't listening to what I didn't say. I said no SHOT fired. I didn't say no EXPLOSIONS You have to shoot a torpedo. You didn't get the mines until you reached the warhead stockpile.
ragnarok1945
interesting Personally after I looked up the PC and console walkthroughs, there's definately a larger number of enemy AI in the console version
