Real Duel

I did a duel with my friend(David), and wrote down everything we did. Here it is...

(My deck name is "The Good Guys", which is an Elemental Hero Deck, and his deck is called "Mecha Destruction" which is a Crowler Deck. 4000 LP start, I go first)

I draw my starting 5 cards, which were Element Soldier, Hero Signal, Element Valkyrie, Elemental Hero Burstinatrix, Winged Kuriboh LV10, and the card I drew at my Draw Phase was Fusion Recovery. I summoned Element Valkyrie in Attack Mode, played Hero Signal face-down, and ended my turn. David draws, plays a face-down monster, plays 2 face-down cards, and ends his turn. I draw Dark Catapulter. I summon Burstinatrix in Attack, and use her to attack his face-down. Unfortunately, the face-down was Gear Golem the Moving Fortress. So i took 1000 points of damage(3000 LP remaining), then i end. David draws, plays a face-down card, and ends. I draw Elemental Hero Avian then I summon Dark Catapulter in Attack, then end. David draws, and ends. Guess he's drawing all high-leveled monsters and spells, I thought. I draw A Hero Emerges then summon Element Soldier. I switch Dark Catapulter to Defense Mode, play A Hero Emerges face-down, and end. David draws, then summons Mechanicalchaser in Attack Mode. He then attacks my Burstinatrix, but I activate A Hero Emerges. Unfortunately, he chooses Fusion Recovery, which is sent to the Graveyard. Burstinatrix is destroyed, and I lose 650 LP(2350 LP remaining). I activate Hero Signal, and Special Summon Elemental Hero Sparkman in Attack. David ends, and I draw The Warrior Returning Alive. Dark Catapulter gets an A-Token. I activate The Warrior Returning Alive. But David activates Spell Shield Type-8. He discards Block Attack and my spell is negated. I activate Dark Catapulter's effect, remove one of his A-Tokens, and remove from play Fusion Recovery to destroy his face-down Call of the Haunted. I summon Elemental Hero Avian in Attack Mode(to draw off David's attacks to him and not my other, powerful cards) and end my turn. David draws, then sacrifices Gear Golem the Moving Fortress and Mechanicalchaser to Tribute Summon Ancient Gear Golem. Gear Golem attacks Avian, and I lose 2000 LP(350 LP remaining). He plays a face-down and ends. I draw Burst Return. Dark Catapulter gains an A-Token, which is instantly taken away to use it's effect. I remove from play Hero Signal, and destroy his face-down. David then activates the face-down's effect, Statue of the Wicked. So he Special Summons a Wicked Token(Fiend-type, DARK, Level 4,ATK/1000 DEF/1000) in Defense Mode. I end my turn. David draws, and summons Ancient Gear Soldier in Attack. Ancient Gear Soldier attacks Element Valkyrie, who is sent to the Graveyard. Then Ancient Gear Golem attacks Element Soldier, and my LP are reduced to 0.

We're gonna try and duel tomorrow before I leave my grandmother's house, because my grandmother's house has internet and mine doesn't.

You know some people still believe in traditional play. I have a few decks that follow the traditional play myself. We don't all go to tournaments. Saying that I want to tell Niashi Inumaki this. Elemental Heros are really only good for one thing, Evil heros. Until you can get some Dark Fusions, Dark Callings and at least one of each Evil Hero fusion ditch those Heros for something more useable.

I read all the way through. That's a crappy Good Guys deck. You must have tried to make Jaden's deck, before he gets his Neo-Spacians, or as close to it as possible. Here's my advice: anime decks don't work, especially since they usually have only 1 of each monster, unless that monster is required in multiples (like Cyber Dragon or Morphtronic Magnen).

I'm figuring Yusei's deck is the only anime deck I've seen that may actually work, but I would need to break the one of each monster rule to make it successful (like 3 Junk Synchrons and 3 Junk Warriors).
