Holy Babylon
God will give you a path, but whether or not you choose to follow that path or stray off of it is up to you.
Jericho
Yes So if I raped' date=' killed, and dismembered a woman, and you were on the jury, you would vote not guilty because it was part of god's plan?[/quote'] I thought we agreed to Icyblue not to start any more arguments. And no, DragonSlayer would vote guilty because God had a reason to put him on your jury. But what if god's reason was to say it was the work of god and not my fault, that I was only a portal through which god spoke? God will give you a path' date=' but whether or not you choose to follow that path or stray off of it is up to you.[/quote'] Then your god is not omniscient. If your god was omniscient, there would be no way to steer away from his path, as he would always know what you would do.

Jericho
Yeah but we also have to be responsible No, we don't. There is no reason to be if it is all part of god's plan. It was god. I would have just been a portal for his using.

Jericho
So you're either saying that the concept of god is unfeasible, or that only church-goers are not responsible for their actions.

Jericho
it shouldn't because the man clearly rejected to be responsible and rejected church The way you say it, it sounds like you're responsible if you refuse to accept the church.

Holy Babylon
Jericho, if you don't like the bible, gtfo, because this thread is about if you read it or not, not about whether or not it is true. According to you, the Bible doesn't revolve around a true religion, but you are turning this thread into a discussion about religion. So yeah... Too long to read' date=' also it repeats itself >_> Want to read the Qur'an it might be interesting.[/quote'] It will. It tells you more stories than Bible, since it was given after the Bible. Man the Bible is not a good book to read =PTho I could read the Arabic Qu'ran all day.=D I thought you're only a non-practitioner Muslim. :O

Wyhe
Bless your soul. The BIBLE is the greatest book ever. I beg to differ. The Bible gives people false hope' date=' as well as irrational fear, and has started more wars than anything else since the beginning of civilized man.[/quote']Yah I agree with you on that, an atheistic and logic-based approach is always better for people to live their lives. FeralSnake
Not everyone is even Christian, I mean damn, I'm Jewish. So i wouldn't read the Christian bible, and I don't believe in Jesus and Satan, which, if I'm correct, is the biggest difference between my religion and Christianity .
