PANDORUM™

Question

why are people not allowed to make there own type for a card seriously i have a reason for asking this question when your making a card the onptions of how you make it go like this

Name: (your choice of name)

Card type: (list of card type here) (and here)

Attribute: (list of attributes)

Level: (level list 1-12)

Trap/Magic type: (list of magic/trap types)

Card rarity: (list of rarity)

Picture URL: (upload a picture here)

Circulation: (own choice)

Set ID: (own choice)

type: (own choice)

Description: (own choice)

ATK/DEF: (own choice)

Creator: (your name here)

Year: (2009 until next year)

serial Number: (your choice or random)

now look at this bit

type: (own choice)

if we couldnt make are own type the YCM would have put a list there instead of making it are own choice then ok

answear that.

Are you asking why you can only make cards like: Warrior, Dragon, Spellcaster, Aqua, Insect, Sea-Serpent etc.

and why your not allowed to make: Timelord, Pokemon, Ninja, Food etc.

The reason is because they are simply not Realistic enough.

I may not be totally qualified to answer this because I am relatively new here myself, but depending on which section you post in, your cards are supposed to be as true to the actual card game as possible. That means the art style and text must sync up with something Konami might actually make. Only rarely - if ever - do they deviate from the established monster types, so it's no something people making realistic cards should do.

There are sections for non-realistic cards, but from what I see, some people still give you a hard time if you break these rules there.
