Shawn knocks on a wooden door asking if anyone is home. A person walks to the door and opens. Shawn sees it is Alexis who opened the door. He asks her if she needs to ask anything before he leaves. Alexis thinks for a second and notices Amy and a black kid about Shawn's height next to her. She asks who he is. Shawn answers that he is Michael, a good friend. Alexis smiles before saying, "Are you going to the forest of duels, right?" Shawn nods a silent yes. She continues, "Well, about one final duel before you leave?" Shawn looks at his duel disk on his left arm and says yes.
Now on Alexis's lawn, Shawn and Alexis and looking at each other with a smile on their faces. In the middle, Amy and Michael are watching. Alexis and Shawn put their decks in and activate thier due disks.
First turn goes to Shawn. He draws and summons Elemental Hero Sparkman in attack position. (1600) He ends his turn.
The turn comes to Alexis. She draws. She summons Spear Dragon in attack position. (1900) She declares the attack against Sparkman. Spear Dragon slashes and destroys Sparkman reducing Shawn's Life Points to 3700. (4000 + 1600 - 1900) She plays Spear Dragons effect to switch Spear Dragon to defense position. (0) She then ends her turn.
Shawn smiles before drawing. He summons Hero Kid in defense. (600) He places a face-down card to end his turn.
Alexis draws with a confused look on her face. She switches Spear Dragon to attack position. (1900) She declares the attack of Spear Dragon against Hero Kid. Her dragon slashes and destroys Hero Kid lowering Shawn's Life Points to 2400. (3700 + 600 - 1900) Due to its effect, Spear Dragon switches to defense position. (0) She ends her turn.
Turn comes to Shawn. He draws. He plays his face-down Call of The Haunted to return Hero Kid. (300) Shawn explains its effect to Special Summon 2 more Hero Kids. (300) Shawn tributes two Hero Kids to summon Elemental Hero Bladedge. (2600) He explains his strategy to summon Bladedge. By Special Summoning Hero Kid from his graveyard, he gets 2 more to tribute for Bladedge. Alexis seems impressed he thought so far ahead. Shawn declares the attack of Bladedge against Spear Dragon. Bladedge slashes and destroys Spear Dragon reducing her points to 1400. (4000 + 0 - 2600) Shawn says due to Bladedge's effect, she still lost points. Then, he declares the direct attack of Hero Kid. Hero Kid punches her reducing her points to 1100. (1400 - 300) He ends his turn.
Alexis draws. She plays Change of Heart to control Bladedge for this turn. Bladedge jumps to her side of the field. She declares the attack against Hero Kid. Bladedge slashes and destroys Hero Kid reducing Shawn's points to 100. (2400 + 300 - 2600) Michael and Amy seem shocked of the amount of damage he took. Alexis places a card face-down and ends her turn. Then, Bladedge jumps back to Shawn's side.
The turn comes to Shawn. He draws. Shawn summons Elemental Hero Bubbleman. (800) Due to its effect, he draws two cards. He declares the final attack from Bladedge.

NOTE: I am using Bubbleman's ANIME effect.
Alexis opens her face-down, Widespread Ruin. Due to its effect, the strongest monster is destroyed. Bladedge explodes before he can end the duel. She says he was close to a win.
Shawn continues with Bubbleman to attack. Bubbleman hits her reducing her points to 300. (1100 - 800)
Michael says Shawn hit a girl. Amy protects Shawn saying Bubbleman hit Alexis. Michael asks who ordered to attack her. Amy becomes speechless.
Shawn says to get to back to the duel. He places one face-down card to end his turn.
Alexis draws. She summons Masked Dragon. (1400) She declares the final attack against Bubbleman.
Shawn opens his face-down, Hero Barrier to negate the attack.
Alexis smiles before saying that he is trying to survive. She ends her turn.
Shawn draws and equips Bubbleman with Bubble Blaster. Due to Bubble Blaster, Bubbleman's ATK raises by 800 to 1600. (800 + 800) He declares the attack of Bubbleman against Masked Dragon. A barrage of bubbles destroys Masked Dragon reducing Alexis's points to 100. (300 + 1400 - 1600)
Alexis plays her dragons effect, to Special Summon Element Dragon. (1500) She says that she will never give up.
Shawn says he is happy of that. He ends with one face-down.
The turn comes to Alexis. She draws. She activates the Field Spell Mountain. The area changes to a mountain range. Due to its effect, all DRAGON-type monsters gains 200 ATK points. So, her Element Dragons ATK raises to 1700. (1500 + 200) She declares the attack against Bubbleman. Her dragon fires a fireball against Bubbleman destroying Bubble Blaster only.
Shawn explains its effect to destroy it to reduce Battle Damage to 0 and keep Bubbleman from going to the graveyard. He says that she will have to try harder to beat him.
Alexis end her turn with one face-down.
Shawn draws. He plays his face-down, Elemental Recharge to gain 1000 points for each 'Elemental Hero' he has out. His points raise to 1100. (100 + 1000) He switches Bubbleman to defense position. (1200) He ends his turn.
Alexis draws. She plays her face-down, Just Dessert, for every monster Shawn has, he loses 500 points. Shawn's points reduce to 600. (1100 - 500) Alexis equips Element Dragon with Fairy Meteor Crush. She explains it effect shocking Amy, Michael and Shawn. When a defense position monster is destroyed, damage is still dealt. She declares the attack of Element Dragon against Bubbleman. A fireball destroys Bubbleman reducing Shawn's points to 100. (600 + 1200 - 1700) She places a face-down. Then, she ends her turn.
The turn comes to Shawn. He draws. He plays O-Oversoul to return Sparkman. (1600) Next, he plays H-Heated Heart to increase Sparkman's ATK by 500. Sparkman's ATK raises to 2100. (1600 + 500) Next, he declares the final attack against Element Dragon.
Alexis plays her face-down, Draining Shield. The attack is negated and she gains points equal to the ATK of the attacking monster. Her points raise to 2200. (100 + 2100)
Shawn says he saw that coming. He wasn't sure if that was another card or not. He places a card face-down to end his turn.
Alexis draws. He declares the final attack against Sparkman.

NOTE: When Shawn's turn ended, Sparkman's ATK lowered to 1600. (2100 - 500)

The Farewell Duel Part 2

 

Alexis, who has 2200 points remaining and has Mountain Field Spell out to increase her dragons ATK by 200, has declared the attack of her Element Dragon (1700)against Shawn's Sparkman. (1600) Shawn has 100 points left and will lose if the attack goes through.

Shawn lets the attack hit and destroy Sparkman, but Alexis's points lower to 2100. She asks why she lost points. Amy is also confused.

Shawn explains his trap card, which he activated before the attack, Mirror Gate. He says with Mirror Gate, the monsters switched during the battle. So, Alexis took the damage. So, her points went down to 2100. (2200 + 1600 -1700) Alexis smiles when he finishes. She places a face-down card to end her turn.

Shawn draws. He plays Monster Reincarnation. Due to Monster Reincarnation, he discards a card, Avian, to add 1 monster in his graveyard to his hand. He adds Bubbleman. Then, he Special Summons Elemental Hero Bubbleman. (800) Due to its effect, he draws two cards from his deck. He drew Miracle Fusion and Regulation of Tribe. He activates Miracle Fusion to remove Avian, Bubbleman and Sparkman to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Tempest. (2800) He places a card face-down. Then, he declares the attack of Tempest against Element Dragon. He punches and destroys her dragon reducing her points to 1000. (2100 + 1700 - 2800) He ends his turn here as Amy says he just needs one more attack to win.

Alexis draws. She plays Card Destruction. Due to its effect, both players must discard thier entire hands and redraw the same number of cards they discarded. She is the only one with an hand, so she discards 2 cards. She draws 2 more cards. Then, she plays Monster Reborn to return her Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which she discarded due to Card Destruction. Her dragon appears and roars. (3000) Due to Mountain, her Blue-Eyes gains 200 ATK points. Her dragons new ATK is 3200. (3000 + 200) She declares a white lighting attack to end this duel. Her dragon fires the attack but it is reflected by a priest who then disappears. She asks how he survived.

Shawn says he played The Regulation of Tribe. Now, her DRAGON-type monsters cannot attack. But, he must tribute a monster during his Standby Phase.

Alexis says he is barely surviving. She ends her turn.

Shawn draws. He sends The Regulation of Tribe to his graveyard since he won't pay the price. Next, he plays Skyscraper. The area changes to a city with many tall skyscrapers. Due to the change in scenery, Alexis's Blue-Eyes loses 200 ATK points to 3000. (3200 - 200) Shawn then declares the attack of Tempest against Blue-Eyes. he punches and destroys Blue-Eyes. Shawn says due to Skyscraper, Tempest gained 1000 (2800 + 1000 = 3800) points during the battle. So, her points dropped to 200. (1000 + 3000 - 3800) He ends his turn.

Alexis draws. She plays Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. She places a card face-down. Next, she plays Graceful Charity to draw 3 cards, but discard 2. She draws 3 cards and discards 2 more Blue-Eyes. She ends her turn.

Shawn draws. He says for Tempest to end this. But, he changes to defense position with 0 DEF. He asks how that happened.

Alexis says due to her trap card, Curse of Anubis, all effect monsters switch to defense position with 0 DEF this turn.

 

NOTE: Tempest is technically a Fusion Monster, but could count as a Effect Monster since he has an effect.

 

Shawn, seeing nothing to do, ends his turn.

The turn comes to Alexis. She draws and smiles. She drew Dragon's Mirror. She plays it quickly raising it above her head. She explains its effect. To remove 3 Blue-Eyes to summon her ultimate dragon, the Blue-Eyes U. Dragon. (4500) Her three-headed dragon roars, scaring Shawn, Amy and Michael. She says she is not done yet. Shawn asks what more can she do. She tributes her dragon to Special Summon her Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon. (3000) The brightness of her dragon surprises Shawn and Amy. Michael awes at it. She says it gains 300 ATK points for every dragon in her graveyard. So, her dragon's ATK raises to 4200. (3000 + 300x4)

 

Dragons in her graveyard:

1. Spear Dragon

2. Masked Dragon

3. Element Dragon

4. Blue-Eyes U. Dragon

 

NOTE: Her three Blue-Eyes are removed from play.

 

She declares the attack of her shining dragon against Tempest. A white light shines and destroys Tempest causing an explosion. She ends her turn.

Shawn draws and ask himself how could he beat that monster. He plays Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. He drew Burial From The Different Dimension and another Miracle Fusion. He plays Burial From The Different Dimension to return Avian, Sparkman and Bubbleman to his graveyard. Then, he plays Miracle Fusion to remove Avian and Bubbleman to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Mariner. (1400) He places a card face-down to activate Mariner's effect. Mariner can attack directly this turn. He declares the final attack against Alexis. Mariner releases his anchor.

Alexis opens her face-down, Enchanted Javelin to increase her points by Mariner's ATK. So, her points raise to 1600. (200 + 1400) The anchor hits her and returns to Mariner. Shawn grimaces. He says you won't give up. Her points drop to 200. (1600 - 1400) He ends his turn. Due to Burial From The Different Dimension, Sparkman is removed from play.

Alexis draws. She summons Lord of D.. (1200)Now, dragons cannot be selected as a target of a Spell, Monster, or Trap Card effect. She declares the attack of her shining dragon against Mariner. A bright light glows and destroys Mariner.

Shawn says he played his face-down before the attack, Waboku. No Battle Damage is dealt this turn. Alexis grimaces. She places a card face-down to end her turn. She thinks she has already won. Her face-down is Magic Cylinder. So, if he attacks Lord of D., he will take damage and lose the duel. If he doesn't, she will defeat him in the turn with her dragon and Lord of. D.

Shawn looks at his deck and draws slowly. He looks at the card and smiles. He tells Alexis that her face-down is useless. He summons Elemental Hero Wildheart. (1500) He is unaffected by Trap Cards. Amy is surprised by his draw. Alexis smiles before saying he has improved. She encourages him to end it.

Shawn finally declares the attack of Wildheart against Lord of D. He slashes and destroys her monster reducing her points to 0. (200 + 1200 - 1500) The area turns back to normal as Wildheart and Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon disappears. They walk toward each other and say good luck to the other person shaking their hands. Amy and Michael smile.

 

NEXT TIME: Shawn, Michael and Amy make it to the Forest of Duels but Shawn must first win his way in.

Attack of The Toons

 

Shawn, Amy and Michael are walking down a dirt path to the Forest of Duels. While walking there, Michael asks Shawn, "So, are you and Amy still dating?"

Shawn blushes and asks him where did that come from. Michael responds with that they never technically broke up at the national tournament and that he is intrested. Both Amy and Shawn blush before Shawn points to a large with gate with large wooden stakes on both sides making a large circle. Shawn says that they made it to the Forest of Duels. All three run to the gate.

 

Once there, they see a tall, thin man with a duel disk on his left arm and a cowboy hat covering his left eye. Shawn walks to him and asks if he and his friends can pass. The man says that only one may pass at a time by defeating me. Shawn agrees to the duel before steping back. Michael and Amy walk to the middle.

The man says his name is Hishoto Jugagin and that he will begin. He draws and summons Toon Gemini Elf. (1900) His monsters appear and giggles. Amy says that look cute. He places a card face-down. Then, he plays Toon Table of Contents to add Manga Ryu-Ran to his hand from his deck. He takes out his deck and picks out Manga Ryu-Ran before shuffing and putting it back in. Then, he ends his turn.

The turn comes to Shawn. He summons Elemental Hero Burstinatrix. (1200) Then, he activates Skyscraper. The area changes to a city with many tall skyscrapers. He declares the attack of Burstinatrix against Toon Gemini Elf. Shawn says Burstinatrix gets 1000 more points since she is attacking a stronger monster. Her points raise to 2200. (1200 + 1000)

Hishoto plays his face-down card, Toon Defense. When a monster attacks one of his level 4 or lower Toon Monsters, he can change it to a direct attack. He decides to. So, Burstinatrix ATK reduces to 1200. (2200 - 1000) She punches through Toon Gemini Elf and continues to hit Hishoto before jumping back to Shawn's field. Hishoto's points drop to 2800. (4000 - 1200) Shawn's ends his turn as Toon Gemini Elf giggles.

Turn comes to him. He draws. He smiles before playing Toon World. To play it, he has pay 1000 points. His points drop to 1800. (2800 - 1000) A book appears and opens with many small structures. He explains Toon Worlds other effects. He must pay 500 points to let his Toon Monsters attack and they cannot attack their first turn. Next, he summons Toon Masked Sorcerer. (900) He declares the attack of Toon Gemini Elf against Burstinatrix. They strectch thier hands to grab and destroy Burstinatrix reducing Shawn's points to 3300. (4000 + 1200 - 1900) He says a few Toon monster, like Gemini Elf, don't need to pay 500 points to attack. Shawn grimaces. Then, He tells Shawn that he must discard a card due to Toon Gemini Elf's effect. Toon Gemini Elf takes Necroshade and send it to Shawn's graveyard. Finally, he tributes both of his monsters to summon Manga Ryu-Ran. (2200) Both of his toons swirl until Manga Ryu-Ran is summoned. He giggles covering his mouth. He states he can summon as many Toon monsters as he can in a single turn. He places a card face-down to end his turn.

Shawn draws as Amy, watching the duel, says Shawn has a long duel in front of him. Shawn uses Necroshade's effect to summon Elemental Hero Neos. (2500) He appears and punches the air. He declares the attack of Neos against Manga Ryu-Ran.

Hishoto plays his face-down card, Mirror Force to destroy Neos. Neos explodes before he can attack.

Amy says that he is pretty good. Shawn asks who side is she on. He places a face-down card and calls it a turn.

Hishoto draws. He declares the attack of Manga Ryu-Ran directly. But first, he pays 500 points to let the attack work. His points reduce to 1300. (1800 - 500) He jumps to Shawn as he opens his face-down, A Hero Emerges. Hishoto picks the left card. Shawn says he chose Wroughtwieler. Shawn summons Elemental Hero Wildheart. (1500) Manga Ryu-Ran punches through Wildheart and hits Shawn reducing his points to 1100. (3300 - 2200) Manga Ryu-Ran jumps back to ends his turn.

Shawn declares the attack of Wildheart against Manga Ryu-Ran. He slashes and destroys Manga Ryu-Ran reducing Hishoto's points to 1000. (1300 + 2200 - 2500)

 

NOTE: Wildheart's ATK is 2500 due to Skyscraper during the Battle Step only.

 

Wildheart jumps back to Shawn as Amy cheers loudly. Shawn ends his turn.

Hishoto draws. He plays Raigeki to destroy Wildheart. A lighting bolt hits and destroys Wildheart. Next, he summons Toon Mermaid. (1400) Luckily for Shawn, she cannot attack this turn. A purple shell with 2 eyes appears opens showing the Toon Mermaid. He places a card face-down to end his turn.

Shawn draws and smiles before summoning Elemental Hero Avian. (1000) He declares the attack against Toon Mermaid. Avian gets 1000 more points due to Skyscraper raising his points to 2000. (1000 + 1000)

Hishoto plays Toon Defense, to change the attack to a direct attack. Shawn asks why he did that for. Hishoto plays his face-down, Windstorm of Etaqua, changing Avian to defense position. (1000) He also lost his boost reducing his points to 1000. (2000 - 1000) He ends with one face-down card.

Hishoto draws. He declares the attack of Toon Mermaid against Shawn for the win. He pays 500 points reducing his points to 500. (1000 - 500) Toon Mermaid shoots an arrow at Shawn.

Shawn plays Hero Barrier to negate the attack. Next, Hishoto plays Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Skyscraper. The area turns back to normal Shawn grimaces. He says he Shawn gets by him, he will never get by the other 4 gates beyond this point. He ends his turn.

Shawn draws. He Special Summons Elemental Hero Bubbleman. (800) He draws 2 cards due to Bubbleman's effect. Amy crosses her fingers. He equips Bubbleman with Bubble Blaster to increase Bubbleman's ATK by 800 to 1600. (800 + 800) Finally, he plays H-Heated Heart to increase Bubbleman's ATK by 500 to 2100. (1600 + 500) This shocks Amy, Michael and Hishoto. He declares the final attack against Toon Mermaid. He fires a barrage of bubbles that destroy her and reduces Hishoto's points to 0. (500 + 1400 - 2100) The field disappears.

Hishoto says Shawn and only Shawn may pass. Shawn says he will see them later. The gate opens as a bright light shines and Shawn walks through with a smile on his face.

 

NEXT TIME: On a trip to get information, he duels a women with a Destiny Board deck.

Daily Dueling- Episode 18

The Board of Destiny

 

Shawn looks around seeing many people carrying bags full of goods. Everybody has a duel dis on. He wonders why. He walks to a nearby house. Seeing the door slightly opened, he opens the door. He sees a woman in her thirties looking through her deck and a duel disk on her left arm with a table in front of her. She looks up and asks whay he wants. Shawn responds with, "I am new here and I need some information. Can you help me?" She says she will only if he beats her in a duel. Shawn asks why. She answers, "I will tell after I win." Shawn puts in his deck and activates his duel disk. He says he will win. The woman puts her deck in, stands up and activates her duel disk.

The woman says that her name is Kino Fubuki. Visitors begin in the first stage.

Shawn, confused, draws. He summons Elemental Hero Clayman in defense mode. (2000) He ends his turn.

Kino draws. She summons Spirit Reaper in defense position. (200) She explains that Spirit Reaper is never destroyed in battle. She places a card face-down to end her turn.

Shawn draws. He switches Clayman to attack position. (800) He plays H- Heated Heart to increase Clayman's ATK by 500, to 1300. (800 + 500) Also, when Clayman destroys a monster in defense position, Battle Damage is still dealt. Then, he declares the attack of Clayman against Spirit Reaper. He punches Spirit Reaper reducing Kino's points to 2900. (4000 + 200 - 1300)

Then, Kino plays her face-down, Destiny Board. During Shawn's End Phase, she can add 1 Spirit Message on her side of the field. After 4 turns, she wins. Just curious, she asks who he beat to get in this place. Shawn says, Hishoto Jugagin. She gasps. Shawn asks what is wrong. She says nothing is.

Shawn ends his turn after placing a face-down card. She adds Spirit Message 'I'. Also, Clayman's ATK drops to 800, due to H-Heated Heart. (1300 - 500)

The turn comes to Kino. She draws. She summons Nightmare Horse. (500) He can attack, even if Shawn has a monster out. She declares the direct attack of her horse. He runs through Clayman. It runs back to her as Shawn's points drop to 3500. (4000 - 500) Then, she plays Raigeki to destroy Clayman. A lighting bolt destroys Clayman. Finally, she plays Polymeriztion to fuse Spirit Reaper and Nightmare Horse to summon Reaper of The Nightmare. (800) He can attack directly and when Battle Damage is dealt, Shawn must discard a card from his hand. She ends her turn.

Shawn draws. He plays his face-down, Call of The Haunted to return Clayman. (800) Then, he plays Card Destruction. Both players discard thier hands and redraw the same number of cards they discarded. Kino says she discarded Minar, due to its effect, Shawn loses 1000 points. Shawn's points drop to 2500. (3500 - 1000) They both redraw new hands. Shawn smiles before playing Polymerization to fuse Clayman, Avian, Bubbleman and Burstinatrix to summon Elemental Hero Electrum. (2900) Electrum comes out of a black swirl from above them. She is scared Shawn declares the attack of Electrum against her monster. He punches her monster, though it is not destroyed as a result of battle. Her points drop to 800. (2900 + 800 - 2900) Shawn ends his turn. Kino adds Spirit Message 'N'.

Kino draws. Remember my Destiny Board counts as Spirit Message 'F'. She plays Swords of Revealing Light to prevent any attacks from Shawn for 3 turns. Also, in 3 turns, she will win. She places a monster card face-down. She declares the direct attack of Reaper of The Nightmare. Her horse and rider rides around Electrum and hit Shawn before running back reducing his points to 1700. (2500 - 800) She smiles. Due to her monstes effect, Shawn discards Necroshade. She ends her turn.

Shawn draws. He frowns and ends his turn with one face-down. Kino adds Spirit Message 'A'.

Kino draws and smiles. She flips her face-down monster face-up. Shawn is surprised to see it is Summoner of Illusions. (800) She plays its effect to tribute a moster, Reaper of The Nightmare to summon a Fusion Monster from her Fusion Deck. She selects and summons her Blue-Eyes U. Dragon. (4500) Her dragon appears and roars. Shawn becomes scared. She declares the attack of her dragn against Shawn's Electrum. Her dragon fires 3 blasts that destroy Electrum and reduces his points to 100. (1700 + 2900 - 4500)

Suddenly, Shawn plays his face-down, Hero Signal to summon Elemental Hero Wildheart. (1500) He says that Wildheart is unaffected byTrap Card. She says he won't give up. She ends her turn. Due to the effect of Summoner of Illusions, Blue-Eyes U. Dragon returns to the Fusion Deck. Her dragon disappears.

Shawn draws thinking of Amy and Michael. He says that Swords of Revealing Light is in play and there are no more Spell & Trap Card Zons open, she can't play the final Spirit Message card. She is shocked. Anyways, Harpie's Feather Duster to destroy all of her Spell and Trap Cards. Her Destiny Board disappears and her other cards explode as she says she will still win. Shawn says she won't. He equips Wildheart with Megamorph to double its ATK since his points (100) is lower than Kino's. (800) Wildheart's ATK is double to 3000. (1500 x 2) He declares the final attack of Wildheart against her monster. He slashes and destroys Summoner of Illusions reducing her points to 0. (800 + 800 - 3000) The field disappears and they sit down on nearby seats.

Kino says that there are 5 outer gate to enter the forest of duels. You defeated the first gatekeeper, Hishoto Jugagin, who has never been defeated before. There are 4 more inner gates pass here. It starts with the 2nd Stage Gate, with 4 gatekeepers. The third has 3 gatekeepers, the 4 has 2 gatekeepers and finally there is one for the fifth gate. The outer gates is the first stage gate. The gatekeepers get tougher the deeper you go. You also get a pass once you make it pass the 2nd stage gate to go to any previous gates. The living conditions also get better the deeper you get in. Once you beat the fifth gatekeeper, you enter the castle, where our tyrant lives. Shawn asks who her/his name his. She says it is Tyler. Shawn seems shocked. She says that is all she knows. He thanks her and walks out to see Amy and Michael looking around for him.

He runs to them saying he has information. Michael asks if it about him and Amy. Amy blushes before Shawn points at Michael telling him to stop that.

Okay, Elsandero, here is the original format. This is how I wrote the first season. I didn't even change the points system. Tell me if it is any better.

 

Daily Dueling- Episode 19

The Second Stage Gate Opens!

 

Shawn, Amy, and Michael are walking through the community seeing many people carry baskets on their heads. Shawn says, “These people must not be that into modern things.”

Amy adds, “Maybe they are just afraid to leave. So, they must keep to the old methods. But why?” They now leave the community and see a tall white wall with 2 above a large wooden gate. A camera, attached to a tree branch, zooms in.

In a dark room, a man watches and says, “No one has tried to duel him. I guess they are new here or just plain stupid.”

Shawn spreads his arms over Amy and Michael. He says, “He is a gatekeeper. One of us will duel him, and each of you will duel someone else.” They nod and run in different sides. He lowers his arms and walks toward the tall man in a black suit. “You are the second gatekeeper?” The man nods. “Who are you then?”

The tall man says, “Kishoto Kirido. I am the only undefeated Second Stage gatekeeper. What do you?”

Shawn says, “I want to duel you.” Kishoto nods in an agreement.

Kishoto says, “Well, I do have some free time. Might as well.” They put their decks in and set up their duel disks. “You can begin.”

Shawn draws. “I summon Elemental Hero Burstinatrix in defense. (1200) One face-down and your go.”

Kishoto draws. “I summon Kycoo The Ghost Destroyer. (1800) Attack his monster!” He holds up left arm, with purple beads around his hand, white spirits surrounds Burstinatrix until she explodes. Then they return to the beads and he lowers his arm.

Shawn says, “I play Hero Signal, I summon Elemental Hero Sparkman.” (1600)

Kishoto says, “Some defense I guess. Your go.”

Shawn draws. “I play Skyscraper.” The background changes to a small city with several large skyscrapers. “Now, Sparkman, attack Kycoo!” He jumps up and fires a spark wave at Kycoo. When it hits, he explodes. He jumps down next to Shawn. “Plus, my Sparkman gained 1000 points when he attacked your monster. (1600 + 1000 = 2600)(2600 – 1800 = 800)(4000 – 800 = 3200) Now my monster loses his bonus. (2600 – 1000 = 1600) Your go.”

Kishoto draws. “I summon Slate Warrior. (1900) Attack Sparkman!” He runs to Sparkman before punching him in the face. Sparkman flies back before exploding. He runs back for safety to his original spot. (1900 – 1600 = 300)(4000 – 300 = 3700) “One face-down. Your go.”

Shawn draws. “I summon Elemental Hero Wildheart. (1500) Attack Slate Warrior! He gains 1000 more points too.” He jumps up but gets stopped and jumps back to his original place. A yellow ring surrounds Shawn on the ground. Blue energy fires up for a moment hitting Shawn.

Kishoto says, “I played Magic Cylinder. Your lose 2500 points. (3700 –2500 = 1200) You can’t beat the classics.”

Shawn says, “One face-down and your go. He loses his bonus. (2500 – 1000 = 1500) Your are good.”

Kishoto says, “Thanks, that’s why I am undefeated.” He draws. “Attack Wildheart!” He runs to Wildheart and punches him in the chest before he explodes. He jumps back to original place. (1900 – 1500 = 400)(1200 – 400 = 800) “Your go.”

Shawn draws. “I play my face-down, Call of The Haunted, to return Burstinatrix. Next, I play Polymerization to fuse my Burstinatrix on my field and the Avian in my hand. I summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman. (2100) Attack!” He raises his left arm and fires a fireball at Slate Warrior before he explodes. He lowers his arms. (2100 – 1900 = 200)(3200 – 200 = 3000) “Now, due to his effect you lose 1900 points.” He jumps up and fires another fireball at Kishoto. He lands down. (3000 – 1900 = 1100) “I know his effect, my Wingman loses 500 points. (2100 – 500 = 1600) One face-down and your go.”

Kishoto draws. Then he grins. “Within these gates are great dark powers beyond your comprehension. We are here for a reason. So, that no one ready will pass. Now, to see if you pass, I summon Thousand-Eyes Idol. (0) I play Black Illusion Ritual. I tribute my monster to summon Relinuished.” (0) A large dark looking monster appears. “One monster at a time, I take one of your monsters and equip to him. Then he gains the ATK and DEF of that monster. If he is destroyed, the monster is destroyed instead. Plus, any damage I take, you take. Now, I want your Wingman!” In his midsection, is a suction device. As it moves in and out Wingman is slowly sucked in. His two white shield lowers and Wingman comes out of it still attached. (1600) “Now, end this!” He uses Wingman to fire a fireball at Shawn.

Its attack is absorbed in a blue swirling shield. Shawn says, “I play Negate Attack, your Battle Phase is ended.”

Kishoto says, “Good. Your go.”

Shawn draws. “I special summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman. (800) I draw 2 cards. I play Bubble Blaster. Bubbleman gains 800 points. (800 + 800 = 1600) Now, attack Wingman!” He fires bubbles at Wingman destroying him. (0) “Now, to keep my Bubbleman alive, I ditch my Bubble Blaster. (1600 – 800 = 800) One face-down and your go.”

Kishoto draws. “I now want your Bubbleman!” Bubbleman is slowly sucked in and then shown in the shield. (1600) Now, finally, end this!” He uses Bubbleman to fires a stream of bubbles. A mirror-like wall stops them.

Shawn says, “I played Mirror Wall, so your monsters ATK is cut in half.” (800 – 400 = 400)(800 – 400 = 400)

Kishoto says, “Again, good. Still, you have to do better. Your go.”

Shawn draws. He smiles. Kishoto is shocked. “I play Monster Reborn to return Bubbleman. (800) I draw 2 cards. I play Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Bubbleman and its power source.” A wind engulfs and destroys Bubbleman. (800 – 800 = 0) “Monster reborn to return Bubbleman. (800) Now, I play H-Heated Heart, so he gains 500 points. (800 + 500 = 1300) Attack Relinquished!” He fires several bubbles at Relinquished and eventually destroys him. (1300 – 0 = 1300)(1100 – 1300 = 0) Bubbleman, and Skyscraper disappears.

Kishoto says, “You may move on. But, you need this.” He hands him a large, black mechanical watch. “Anyone inside will know what this is. But he won’t me know.” He puts it on Shawn’s right wrist.

Shawn asks, “Who won’t let you?”

Kishoto says, “Tyler Simmons. He is the tyrant controlling this land.” Shawn looks depressed after looking shocked. They both walk back. The gate opens and it shows and Amy and Michael are smiling on the other side of the gate. Shawn runs to them when he has enough space smiling also.

He says, “How long have you been waiting?”

They both say in unison, “Forever!”

The gate closes as Kishoto watches and then sighs. He says, “I hope they can survive.”

 

NEXT TIME: Alexis gets approached while resting at the beach by two followers of a secret dueling society asking her to join.

Daily Dueling- Episode 20

The Secret Society's Request

 

Alexis, currently resting at beach, with many small children running around. She, in a red string bikini, thinks about Shawn and the others hoping they will be okay. She gets up, looks around seeing a few guys looking at her with interest. She turns giving them a silent no. Heartborken, they walk away in the opposite direction. She gathers her belogings up and puts a towel on trying to cover herself. At the border of the beach, she is confronted by two men with a black cloaks on. She says they must be hot in this weather.

One of them says, "We need to duel one of us." Alexis asks why. He says he will explain later. He says that they will duel here. Alexis drops her stuff and bends down to get her duel disk out. She puts it on her left arm before the men take off the cloaks and show there muscled bodies. Alexis blushes. After a moment of staring, the man says, "What are you looking at?" She says nothing and she will begin. They put thier decks in and activate thier duel disks.

Alexis draws and summons Cave Dragon in attack position. (2000) She places a card face-down to end her turn.

The man draws and summons his Royal Magical Library in defense. (2000) He also places a face-down before ending his turn.

She draws and summons Armed Dragon LV3 in attack position. (1200) She explains her Cave Dragon can only be summoned alone and can only attack while she has another Dragon-Type monster out. She equips her Cave Dragon with Black Pendant. Due to its effect, her dragon gains 500 ATK point to 2500. (2000 + 500) Also, when Black Pendant is destroyed, she inflicts 500 points of damage.

Her opponen says that due to his monsters effect, his monster gets 1 Spell Counter.

She plays her face-down, Dragon's Rage. When a Dragon-Type monster destroys a defense position monster in battle, Battle Damge is still dealt. She declares the attack against her opponent's bookshelfs. She dragon slashes.

But, her opponent activates his face-down, Negate Attack, to negate all attacks and end the Battle Phase.

She asks for his name. He doesn't answer. She ends her turn.

He draws. He plays Magical Blast, for every Spellcaster-Type monster on his field, 200 points is inflicted to her points. He has one, Royal Magical Library, so after an explosion that also pulls Alexis's towel, her points drop to 3800. (4000 - 200) She blushes and tries to find the towel with no luck. He says to keep her eyes on the duel. His monster gained another Spell Counter. He plays Block Attack to swich Cave Dragon to defense position. (100) His monster gets another Spell Counter. Then, he plays its effect, to remove 3 Spell Counters to draw a card from his deck. He draws Dark Magician. He tributes his monster to summon Dark Magician Girl. (2000)

Dark Magician Girl points at Alexis and laughs. Alexis says she would like to see her in a bikini calling her fatso. The other man said he would too. The man dueling kicks him down telling him to shut up. He declares the attack of Dark Magician Girl against Armed Dragon LV3. She hits LV3 with her staff, destroying it reducing Alexis's points to 3000. (3800 + 1200 - 2000) Finally, he plays Soul Exchange to tribute Dark Magician Girl and Cave Dragon to summon Dark Magician. Though he can't conduct his Battle Phase if he uses this card. He ends his turn.

Turn comes to Alexis. She draws saying about time. She also says since Black Pendant was destroyed, he loses 500 points to 3500. (4000 - 500) Next, she plays Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. She smiles before playing Polymerization to fuse three Blue-Eyes to summon her Blue-Eyes U. Dragon. (4500) her dragon roars scaring her opponent. She declares the attack against Dark Magician. Her dragon fires 3 blasts that destroys Dark Magician and reducing her opponent's Life Points to 1500. (3500 + 2500 - 4500) She ends her turn.

He draws. He plays Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. He places a card face-down and a face-down monster card to end his turn.

She draws. She declares the attack of her ultimate dragon against his monster. Her dragon fires 3 attacks destroying Pixie Knight.

He says since Pixie Knight was destroyed, Alexis chooses a Spell Card in his graveyard and place it on the top of his deck. She chooses Magical Blast. He picks it and adds it to the top of his deck while smiling. She ends her turn.

He draws. He plays his face-down, Call of The Haunted to return Dark Magician. (2500) She says it is too weak. He tributes Dark Magician to Special Summon his strongest monster, Dark Eradicator Warlock. (2500) She says it is still too weak. He plays Magical Blast to inflict 200 points of damage to her. Her points drop to 2800 (3000 - 200) after nearby explosion. Also, due to his monsters effect, each time a Normal Spell is activated, she loses 1000 points. Another bigger explosion drops her points to 1800. (2800 - 1000) He smiles before equipping his monster wih Megamorph. Since his Life Points (1500) is lower than Alexis's Life Points (1800), so his monsters ATK is doubled to 5000. (2500 x2) She becomes scared. He declares the attack of his monster against her dragon. He slashes and destroys her dragon in a huge explosion reducing her points to 1300. (1800 + 4500 - 5000) He says his monsters ATK is reduced by half to 1250. (5000 - 2500/2) He ends his turn.

She draws. Looking sad, she places a face-down card and summons Lizard Soldier in attack position. (1100) She ends her turn.

He smiles before drawing. He adds Magical Blast to his hand instead of drawing. He plays Magical Blast. A blast near her doesn't phase her while reducing her points to 1100. (1300 - 200) Also, she loses 1000 points due to his monsters effect. Her points drop to 100 (1100- 100) before a bigger blast occurs. Finally, he declares the final attack.

Alexix plays her face-down, Sakuretsu Armor, to destroy his monster. Dark Eradicator Warlock explodes. He ends his turn.

Alexis draws with a smile on her face. She tributes her monster to summon Armed Dragon LV5. (2400) She declares the final attack. He punches him reducing his points to 0. (1500 - 2400) The field clears.

The man grab their cloaks. Alexis silently says to take them off. They ask what she said. She says nothing. One of them says we are part of the Secret Society. If you want to join us, you have win 2 more duels that will come soon. You will learn more later. Once they leave, she takes her cell phone and calls Shawn.

Daily Dueling- Episode 21

Attack of The Master Dragon Knight!

 

While walking through the forest, Shawn thinks of the call Alexis and him had. She told him everything she knew. Shawn, seeming jealous, asked her why not him, why now, etc. Alexis told him to keep track. He shut up long enough for her to tell him that she will call him when she learns more information.

Meanwhile, Alexis is taking a shower and thinking about the future. She asks what will happen next. She turns off the water with a confused look on her face. Before she can get a towel on, she hears a knock and she yells for them to wait.

Once at the door, she is not surprised to see two more people in black cloaks. She tells them to wait for her to get dressed. One of them puts their foot in before she can close the door. She yells to him, "What's you problem, pervert!?" He takes his foot out for her to close the door.

Half an hour later, she comes out in her street clothes. They both ask, "What took so long?" She answers that she wanted to look nice. They both sigh before walking in. One of them says that girls make no sense. She doesn't even look nice. She overhears this and asks what he said. He said it was nothing important.

Now, in her living room, the taller man and Alexis have activated their duel disks. She says he can go first if he gives his name.

He answers with Kizuki Mayori. He draws. He summons Cave Dragon. (2000) He ends his turn.

Turn comes to Alexis. She draws and summons Luster Dragon. (1900) Kizuki says her dragon is too weak. She says she isn't done yet. She equips Luster Dragon with Dragon's Treasure. Due to its efect, its ATK is increased by 300 to 2200. (1900 + 300) Kizuki mildly impressed. She declares the attack of dragon against his, Fireball Fury! Her dragon destroys his and reduces his points to 3800. (4000 + 2000 - 2200) She ends her turn.

Kizuki draws. He summons Spirit Ryu. (1000) He discards two dragons, Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Gray Wing, from his hand to increase his dragons ATK by 1000 for every card until the end of this turn. So, Spirit Ryu's ATK raises to 3000. (1000 + 1000x2) Alexis seems shocked. He declares the attack, Spirit Slash. His dragon goes through her monsters' body and destroys it before reducing Alexis's Life Points to 3200. (4000 + 2200 - 3000) Spirit Ryu returns to his side of the field. He ends his turn. Spirit Ryu's ATK drops to 1000 due to its effect.

Alexis draws. She summons Masked Dragon. (1400) She declares the attack of her dragon to his dragon. Her dragon destroys his and reduces his points to 3400. (3800 + 1000 - 1400) She ends her turn.

Kizuki draws. He plays Monster Reborn to return his Blue-Eyes from his graveayard in Attack Position. (Blue-Eyes was discarded due to Spirit Ryu's effect.)(3000) His dragon roars and scares Alexis. He declares the attack against her small dragon. His dragon fires a white lighting attack that destroys her dragon and reduces her points to 1600. (3200 + 1400 - 3000)

She activates its effect to Special Summon Armed Dragon LV3. (1200)

He chuckles at her pitiful monster before ending his turn.

Alexis draws. She smiles before activating her dragons effect to tribute it and summon Armed Dragon LV5. (2400) Kizuki says that she does not give up. She looks at her hand, Card Destruction and Burst Stream of Destruction. She plays Card Destruction to make both players discard thier hands and redraw. Kizuki says that he discarded two more Blue-Eyes and Luster Dragon. He thanks her. Alexis seems confused before placing a card face-down to end her turn.

Kizuki draws. He grins as his partner knows what is coming. He tells Alexis is Kizuki is about to play Dragon's Mirror. Kizuki tells him to shut up. He activates Dragon's Mirror. To remove 3 Blue-Eyes from his field and graveyard to summon his Blue-Eyes U. Dragon. (4500) His dragon roars before he declares the final nuetron blast attack.

Alexis plays her face-down, Negate Attack. Due to its effect, the attack is negated and the Battle Phase ends. She smiles knowing she still has at least 1 more turn.

Kizuki tells Alexis to make her last pathetic turn.

Alexis draws. She says she has many more turns to come. She activates Armed Dragon LV5's effect to tribute it and Special Summon Armed Dragon LV7. (2800) She smiles before she plays Level Up!. She tributes Armed Dragon LV to Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10. (3000) Kizuki seems to be shocked at her dragons ultimate form. She places a face-down before ending her turn.

Kizuki draws. He declares the attack of his ultimate dragon. Alexis activates her face-down, Mirror Wall. Due to Mirror Wall, the attacking monster, Blue-Eyes U. Dragon, has its ATK cut in half. So, Kizuki's monsters ATK is 2250. (4500/2) Her dragon counterattacks, destroying his monster and reducing his points to 2650. (3400 + 2250 - 3000) He says she is good- but he is better. He plays Re-Fusion, at a cost of 800 points, reducing his points to 1850, he can Special Summon a Fusion Monster from his graveyard. Alexis is shocked as his partner smiles. He brings back his Blue-Eyes U. Dragon. (4500) He ends his turn.

Slowly, Alexis draws. Since Mirror Wall requires her to pay 2000 points to keep it on the field, she sends it to the graveyard. Next, she plays Creature Swap to switch their monsters. They magically switch places. Kizuki and his partner are shocked. She declares the attack of her dragon against her former monster. Three blasts destroys Armed Dragon LV10 reducing his points to 350. (1850 + 3000 - 4500) She places a face-down to end her turn.

Kizuki draws and smiles. His partner also smiles. Kizuki plays Change of Heart. For this turn only, he gets his dragon back. His dragon magically transfers to his side of the field. Alexis gasps. Next, he plays Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. Then, does so. He smiles again. He plays Graceful Charity to draw 3 cards and discard 2. He discards Black Luster Soldier and Fusion Sage. Next, he plays Fusion Gate. A black swirl forms above them. Now, he doesn't need 'Polymerization' to fuse monsters. He plays Dian Keto The Cure Master to increase his Life Points by 1000 to 1350. (350 + 1000) He plays Fulfillment of The Contract, and pays 800 points reducing his points to 550 (1350 - 800), and Special Summon a Ritual Monster from his graveyard. He chooses Black Luster Soldier. (3000)

Alexis asks, "What are you planning?"

Kizuki continues his turn. He plays Fusion Gate to fuse his monsters and Fusion Summon Dragon Master Knight. (5000) He declares the final attack of her life. Two large beams of energy fly to her.

Alexis plays Waboku to reduce all Batte Damage to 0. A shield made by 3 priests absorb the attack. He says, "You are just stalling." He ends his turn.

Alexis looks at her deck and prays before drawing. She looks at the card she drew. She smiles. First, she summons Troop Dragon in Defense Position. (800) She places a face-down card to end her turn.

Kizuki draws and chuckles. He declares the final attack. The two beams destroys her monster. She activates its effect. She Special Summons 2 more in Attack Position. (700) Kizuki asks why she did that for. She plays her face-down, Ceasefire. For each Effect Monster on the field, Kizuki loses 500 points. He and his partner as shocked. Two blasts near him explode reducing his points to 0. (550 - 500x3) The field clears as she smiles.

 

NOTE: Dragon Master Knight is considered a Effect Monster.

 

Kizuki says the third duel will be different, in rules and location. They walk out after saying good-bye to her. She sighs and wonders what that means.

The First Phase is complete!

 

Amy, Michael and Shawn are walking through the second stage community. Shawn remembers what Alexis said to him a while ago after she won her duel.

She said, "I got tested today and won!" Shawn congratulated her and asked when is the next duel. She answered, "I don't know. The person I dueled said that almost everything will be different." Then, Shawn said they are at the third gate and he has to go. Alexis wished Shawn luck before hanging up.

At the large, black gate, Shawn says, "Supposely, there are is one more gatekeeper, so we will seperate and regroup. Amy and Michael nodded before going in opposite directions trying to find the person. Shawn confronted the tall male gatekeeper in a black cloak. He asks, "Are you ready to lose?" The person grinned and said that Shawn will lose instead. They put their decks in and activate thier duel disks.

Shawn asks the gatekeeper is name. He responds with, "Majino Yori. Visitors go first." Shawn draws. He summons Elemental Hero Wildheart in attack mode. (1500) He states his hero is unaffected by Trap Cards. He ends his turn.

Majino draws. He summons Vampire Orchis. (1700) Due to its effect, he Special Summons from his hand, Des Dendle. (300) Des Dendle is a Union monster, so he can and will equip it to Vampire Orchis. He declares the attack against Wildheart. Vampire Orchis slashes and destroys Wildheart reducing Shawn's points to 3800. (4000 + 1500 - 1700) Also, while is Vampire Orchis is equipped with Des Dendle, everytime a monster is destroyed, he Special Summons a Wicked Plant Token. (800) A small tree appears. He declares the direct attack of his token. He attacks and reduces Shawn's points to 3000. (3800 - 800) He places a face-down card to end his turn.

Shawn draws. He summons Elemental Hero Burstinatrix. (1200) Next, he plays H- Heated Heart to increase her ATK by 500 to 1700. (1200 + 500) Next, he plays the Field Spell, Skyscraper. The area changes to a skyscraper city. Next, he plays Hero Heart, so he halves her ATK to 850 (1700/2), to let her attack twice this turn. He declares the attack against Vampire Orchis. Shawn states that due to Skyscraper, his hero gains 1000 ATK points, to 1850. Her attack destroys his monster and reduces his points to 3850. (4000 + 1700 - 850 + 1000)

Majino says that he sends Des Dendle to the graveyard to bring back his Vampire Orchis. (1700) Next, Shawn declares the attack against his Wicked Plant Token. He punches and destroys his token reducing his points to 3800. (3800 + 800 - 850)

 

NOTE: Majino's Wicked Plant Token ATK is 800, so Burstinatrix does not gain 1000 ATK points.

 

Shawn places a face-down card to end his turn. Also, Burstinatrix's ATK returns to 1200.

Majino draws. He plays his face-down, Roll Out!, and equips Vampire Orchis with Des Dendle from his graveyard. Shawn grimaces. He declares the attack against Burstinatrix that destroys her and reduces Shawn's points to 2500. (3000 + 1200 - 1700) Due to his monsters effect, he Special Summons a Wicked Plant Token. (800)

Shawn plays his face-down, Hero Signal, to Special Summon Elemental Hero Sparkman. (1600)

Majino says he plays Linear Accelerator Cannon. He tributes his Wicked Plant Token to inflict damage equal to halfs it ATK. A blast near Shawn reduces his points to 2100. (2500 - 400) He end his turn.

Shawn draws. He declares the attack of Sparkman against Vampire Orchis. Sparkman, who gains 1000 ATK points due to Skyscraper to 2600 (1600 + 1000), punches and destroys Des Dendle. Majino sends Des Dendle to the graveyard to summon his Vampire Orchis. (1700) De to the attack, Majino's points drop to 2900. (3800 + 1700 - 2600) Shawn says, "I already knew you play that trick. So, I play Hammer Shot to destroy your strongest monster." A large wooden hammer destroys Vampire Orchis. He ends his turn. Sparkman's ATK drops to 1600.

Majino draws and smiles. He says he may be able to defeat Tyler after all. But, he won't let him get that far. He summons Decayed Commander. (1000) Due to its effect, he Special Summons Zombie Tiger from his hand. He equips his Zombie Tiger to Decayed Commander. Due to its effect, Decayed Commander gains 500 ATK points to 1500. (1000 + 500) He plays, from his hand, Rush Recklessly, to increase his monsters ATK by 700 to 2200. (1500 + 700) He declares the attack against Sparkman. He slashes and destroys Sparkman reducing his points to 1400. (2100 + 1600 - 2200) Now, you discard a card from your hand. Shawn discards Necroshade. He ends his turn as his monsters ATK drops to 1500.

Shawn draws. He plays Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. Next, he plays Necroshades effect to summon Neos. (2500) Next, he equips Neos with Neos Force to increase Neo's ATK to 3300. (2500 + 800) He delcares the attack against his monster. He punches and destroys Zombie Tiger and reduces his points to 1100. (2900 + 1500 - 3300) Now, Shawn has to put Neos Force back into his deck. He ends his turn.

Majino draws. He activates Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. He plays Secret Pass To The Treasures to let his Decayed Commander attack directly. He slashes Shawn reducing his points to 400. (1400 - 1000) He says that Shawn has to discard his only card from his hand, Elemental Hero Bladedge. He places face-down card to end his turn.

Shawn draws. He plays Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Majino's face-down, Magic Cylinder. Majino says that he is good. Shawn then declares the attack of Neos against Decayed Commander. He punches and destroys it reducing Majino's points to 0. (1100 + 1000 - 2500) The field clears and goes back to normal.

Majino takes out his cloak, revealing a muscled body and his duel disk before saying, "Time for the second phase: The Fight Phase." Shawn looks scared before repeating 'The Fight Phase'.

Daily Dueling- Episode 23

The Fight of His Life

Shawn repeats, "Fight phase", in horror. With these words, a small crowd gathers to watch.

Majino is now running to Shawn. He runs out of the way. Majino makes a fist and starts running to Shawn again. Shawn ducks barely missing the punch. Shawn scuttles in between his legs and gets a good distance between them. He stops at a wall of a brick house.

Shawn says, “I got to go some where I can go anyway safe.” He looks up and sees Majino boot right in front of his face. He can’t avoid it and gets kicked in the face. This causes him to fall through a window. He lands on his head.

He screams, “Ouch!” Outside, Majino walks around the house and enters through the front door. Shawn is right across the room. Majino tries to kick him, but Shawn dodges and gets a punch in Majino’s face in before running out the front door.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Amy and Michael are waiting. They are bruised. Michael says, “What could be taking him so long?”

Amy says, “Well, Shawn was never a good fighter. So, don’t be surprised if he doesn’t come back soon. Still, he is pretty smart, so he should find a way to defeat the gatekeeper.”

On the other side, Shawn is against the wall and Majino is throwing a punch. Again, Shawn ducks out of the way and Majino’s punch hits the concrete wall. The sound can be heard on the other side. Both Amy and Michael are startled. She asks, “What could he be doing?”

Now, Shawn is near another brick house. Majino is about 10 feet back. He says, “This the best you can do? How disappointing.” He runs toward Shawn. Shawn ducks and punches him in the gut several times. Majino coughs. “Good. But, good enough!” He raises his left leg, kicking Shawn in the chin. Shawn raises his body. Majino lowers his leg.

Then he punches Shawn through the window behind him. He lands on his back. Majino jumps through the window. Shawn picks up a near by knife. Majino steps back fearful for his life. The crowd behind the window scream, “Slash him! Slash him!” several times.

Shawn says, “How sick!” He runs, knife in his left hand at Majino. Majino raises his left arm and catches the knife in his arm. Blood flows from the wound. Shawn tries to pull it out but it is stuck. Shawn lets go and steps back. Majino forcefully pulls out the bloody knife. Shawn steps back again and steps on a sheath. He picks it up and takes out a sword. He drops the sheath. They both run toward each other. They both strike each other. A large amount of blood drops to the ground.

In Shawn’s right shoulder is the bloody knife. In Majino’s left shoulder is the sword. They both pull out their weapon and breath hard. Shawn runs toward Majino. Majino puts the sword in his other hand and runs toward Shawn. Both of their weapons hit each other. They both step back.

Majino tosses the sword at Shawn. Shawn raises his knife and hits it. But, it keeps going and lands in his right shoulder again. Shawn drops his knife. He pulls out the blood-covered sword. “Why should we have to fight? If we keep going like this, we both will die!” He drops the knife near the sheath.

Majino nods. “Tyler is the leader, not me. So, if it were up to me, I won’t make my people do this. Sadly, this is not my decision.” Shawn bends to pick up his sword and straightens his body. He runs to Majino. Majino throws a punch stopping the sword. Blood comes out of the wound on his fist. He takes out his hand grabs the sword cutting the palm of his hand. He then pulls the sword from Shawn’s hands.

Shawn gasps. Majino says, “I was never good at weapons. I always prefer hand-to-hand combat.” He tosses it out a nearby window.

Shawn says, “So do I?” he thinks, now if that were the truth. Majino turns and kicks the door down. Shawn, taking advantage, runs toward him. The crowd outside runs to the other side of the house. Shawn is then picked up by the shoulders and dropped to the ground by Majino.

Majino picks him up by the neck. “You are good duelist. I will give you that. But, are a bad fighter.” With his other hand, he punches Shawn in the face and he drops him to the ground. Shawn is bleeding from the forehead now. Majino takes his foot over Shawn’s body.

But, Shawn grabs his foot and with all of his might, pulls over Majino. Gravity takes over and drops him to the ground. Majino starts coughing up blood. Shawn gets up first. He kicks Majino in the back. When he kicks, Majino screams in pain. The crowd is amazed.

Majino gets up and Shawn stops kicking. Majino and Shawn are barely standing. Each throws a punch that hits each other in the face and knocks them down to the ground. Majino is the first to get up. He is huffing. Shawn then gets up to his amazement. He makes a fist.

He says, “I won’t lose. If I do, I will be back.” He throws a punch but Majino catches his fist. He throws is back almost falling forward. Shawn falls back. But, he gets up and he runs toward Majino and throws a punch at Majino. Majino, too slow to stop it, gets hit in the chest. He coughs more blood that lands on Shawn’s white sleeve.

Shawn then falls forward. He mumbles, “I will defeat you.” He closes his eyes and falls unconscious. He lands on Majino’s chest. Majino passes Shawn’s body to a person in the crowd.

He says, “Take him to a hospital. I will be behind you. Don’t forget about our duel disks. Bring them too.”

On the other side of the wall, Amy and Michael are worrying about Shawn. Amy takes out her silver cell phone and calls Alexis.

Alexis answers, “Alexis speaking.”

Amy tell her that Shawn hasn’t returned yet.

Alexis asks what happened.

Amy says that they (Michael and Amy) don’t know.

The Final Test with The Secret Society Part 1

 

In a hospital, in room 316, there is one bed. That is Shawn’s bed. Majino, Amy, and Michael are watching over him. Majino raises Shawn’s arm with a black metal thing on. Under the main circle, which slightly glowing, there are 3 buttons. He pushes the middle button. A small scale of a black human body appears. The body is halved filled with gold color. He says, “This device is called a Death Band, we don’t why. So, this tells how much energy you have left. He has half his energy left.” He pushes the middle button on his Death Band and a full glowing body appears. “The other two buttons functions are unknown. He will need time to regain his strength. Shawn smiles as Amy watches.

Meanwhile, Alexis is walking home from the vacant lot. She puts her hands on the back of her head. "I hope Shawn is okay. I wonder what happened. I just wonder what this Majino character did to him.” She lowers her hands. Across the street, a person in a black hooded cloak with a tranquilizer gun aims at Alexis and shoots at her. She falls down falls down as it is hits her in the neck. The cloaked man walks across the street and puts her on his shoulders and walks the opposite direction.

 

 

Later, In a dark, large, torch lighted room with people in black cloaks surrounding her as she gets up asking where she is. There is one more person, with a duel disk on, about 10 feet ahead of her and another in a golden throne farther down. The person says, “I am Keyoki Ishima. I am the third person who will duel you for entrance of the Secret Society. Now, get up and duel me!” She gets up and both activate their duel disks putting in their decks. He draws and summons Witch of The Black Forest in defense. (1200) He ends hs turn.

Alexis draws. She plays Spear Dragon. (1900) She declare its attack. Her dragon fires a twister from its mouth and it hits and destroys his monster. “Plus, you still lose points." His points drop to 3300. (4000 + 1200 - 1900) She says, "Now, due to her effect, you add 1 monster with an DEF of 1500 or less to your hand.”

Keyoki adds the Right Leg of The Forbidden One to his hand.

Alexis states that her monster goes to defense position. (0) This is due to her monsters effect. She asks what happens if she loses. Keyoki says that they have to wipe her memory.

He draws. He summons Sangan. (1000) He declares its attack that destroys Spear Dragon. He places a face-down card to end his turn.

She draws. She summons Armed Dragon LV3. (1200) She declares its attack. Her monster destroys his monster and reduces his points to 3100. (3300 + 1000 - 1200) He adds the Left Leg of The Forbidden One to his hand. She ends her turn.

He draws. He plays his face-down, Call of The Haunted to return Sangan. (1000) He equips his monster with Megamorph to double its ATK to 2000. (1000 x2) He declares its attack that destroys Armed Dragon LV3 and reduces her points to 3200. (4000 + 1200 - 2000) He ends his turn.

She draws and smiles. She summons Red-Eyes B. Chick. She plays its effect to tribute her monster to summon her Red-Eyes B. Dragon. (2400) He becomes scared. He declares the fireball attack that destroys Sangan and reduces his points to 2700. (3100 + 2000 - 2400) He adds the Right Arm of The Forbidden One to his hand. She ends her turn.

He draws and summons Kuriboh. Alexis says it is cute. He tributes it for his Black Illusion Ritual to Ritual Summon Reliquished. (0) He activates its effect to suck in her Red-Eyes and it strength. Red-Eyes is sucked in and appears as armor raising his monsters ATK to 2400. Keyoki declares the direct attack that reduces her points to 800. (3200 - 2400) He ends his turn.

She draws and places a single face-down card to end her turn.

He draws with a grin on his face. He says we (The Secret Society) were wrong about her. He declares the final direct attack against Alexis.

She plays Draining Shield to increase her points by the attacking monsters ATK and negate the attack. So, her points raise to 3200. (800 + 2400) The attack stops before it can hit her.

The person in the throne seems impressed. He ends his turn.

Alexis draws. She plays Heavy Storm to destroy the equipped Red-Eyes and reduce Relinquished's ATK to 0. (2400 - 2400) She then summons Masked Dragon. (1400) She declares the attack against Relinquished that destroys it and reduces Keyoki's Life Points to 1300. (2700 - 1400) She ends her turn.

Keyoki draws. First, he plays Card Destruction. Both he and her discard thier hands and redraw. Alexis seems confused. He plays Monster Reborn to return Red-Eyes to his side of the field. (2400) He declares the attack that destroys her Masked Dragon and reduces her points to 2200. (3200 + 1400 - 2400)

Alexis says that due to her monsters effect, she can and will Special Summon Gray Wing. (1300)

He says it is way too weak to defeat his Red-Eyes. Anyways, he places a face-down card before ending his turn.

Alexis draws asking why he played Card Destruction with 3 Exodia Pieces in his hand. When he doesn't answer, she continues with her turn. She plays Creature Swap to switch their monsters. Everyone else in the room seems shocked. Both dragons fly to the other side of the field. She tributes her dragon to summon Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon. (2400) Her dragon' ATK goes up by 300 for every DRAGON-Type monster in her graveyard. So, her dragon's ATK is 3900. (2400 + 300 x5)

Everyone again seems impressed by her combo. She declares the final attack. One of the cloaked people says that if the attack goes through, she wins. Keyoki plays Waboku to reduce Battle Damage to 0. Gray Wing goes to Alexis's graveyard raising her Red-Eyes Darknesss Dragon's ATK by 300 to 4200. (3900 + 300)

Keyoki draws and plays Painful Choice. He chooses 5 cards from his deck (Contract with Exodia, Exodia The Forbidden One, Pot of Greed, Reckless Greed, and Left Arm of The Forbidden One) and his opponent, Alexis, selects one card to add to his hand. She selects Contract With Exodia since she thinks it will do no harm. She laughs as eveyone in the room smiles. Some say that the duel will end soon.

He activates Contract with Exodia. Alexis asks what that card does. Keyoki answers with, "It let's me summon my strongest monster and gurantee me the win!" Alexis gulps.

 

NEXT TIME: Alexis has to face Keyoki's ultimate monster. Can she win?

The Final Test with The Secret Society Part 2

 

Keyoki says, "I summon Exodia Necros!" (1800) Alexis is staring at Exodia Necros. Her opponent, Keyoki, has 1300 Life Points left and one face-down card. Alexis has Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon. (4200) She has 2200 Life Points. He ends his turn.

It is her turn now. She draws. “Attack Exodia Necros!” Her dragon fires a fireball at him causing a great explosion. “I win!” The man in the throne smiles.

When the smoke clears, Exodia Necros is still standing and Keyoki with 1000 points left. “How?” she asks.

Keyoki says he played his effect, that Necros is never destroyed in battle. Next, he played my face-down, Mirror Wall. So, her dragon lost half of his ATK points to 2100. (4200/2)(1300 + 1800 - 2100)

She ends her turn. Since she has 7 cards in her hand, she has to discard a card. She discards her Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Her dragon's ATK is raised by 300 to 2400. (2100 + 300)

Keyoki draws. He destroys his trap. (due to its 2000 Life Point cost) His card explodes in many pieces. Now, her dragon gets back his points. (4500) He activate Exodia Necros’s effect, during his Standby Phase, he gains 500 ATK points to 2300. (1800 + 500) He switches Necros to defense. (0) Also, he plays a face-down monster to end his turn.”

Alexis draws. She thinks, He is trying to stall to increase his monsters ATK points. “Attack his face-down monster!” He fires a fireball at his monster, which causes it to flip up. A female magician appears before exploding. She gasps.

Keyoki says, “Sorry, you flipped Magician of Faith. (300) I add a spell card to my hand. I add Megamorph to my hand.”

Alexis ends her turn. She has to another a card, so she discards another Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Her dragon's ATK raises to 4800. (4500 + 300)

Keyoki draws. Necros gains 500 points to 2800. (2300 + 500) he switches him to attack mode. (2800) Now, he equips him with Megamorph. His ATK points are doubled to 5600. (5600) Attack her dragon!” He punches and destroys her monster. Her Life Points drop to 1400. (2200 + 4800 -5600) He says tha Necros ATK points are cut in half. (1400) He plays Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy his Megamorph. A wind comes out of the card and destroys Megamorph. Now, Exodia Necros gets his full points back. (2800) He placs one face-down. Then he ends his turn.

 

NOTE: Megamorph's effect is not fully correct in this game. Usually, only ORIGINAL ATK is changed, not current. This is not true in this case.

 

Alexis draws. She plays Graceful Charity, drawing 3 cards and discarding 2. I discard my last Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Armed Dragon LV10. She activates Dragon’s Mirror, to remove all 3 of her Blue-Eyes to summon Blue-Eyes U. Dragon. (4500) Now, she plays Level Modulation. I return Armed Dragon LV10. (3000) Keyoki gets to draw 2 cards. He grimaces. Attack my ultimate dragon!” He fires three blasts of energy, but it is absorbed in a blue shield.

Keyoki says, “I play Negate Attack, so your Battle Phase is over.”

Alexis says, “I play Dian Keto The Cure Master, so I gain 1000 points to 2400. (1400 + 1000) Next, Hinotama so you lose 500 points." His points drop to 800. (1300 – 500) She places a face-down to her end turn.

Keyoki draws. Exoida Necros gains 500 points to 3300. (2800 + 500) I play Change of Heart. So, your ultimate dragon is mine this turn. Attack Armed Dragon LV10!” He fires three blasts of energy at her monster, which destroys it reducing her points to 900. (2400 + 3000 - 4500) Then, he declares the final attack from Necros. He throws a punch but it stops and retracts his arm.

Alexis says, “I played Enchanted Javelin. So, I gain his ATK points before the attack.” So, her points remains the same. (900 + 3300 - 3300)

Keyoki says, “Fine, one more turn won’t hurt. One face-down. Your go. You get your dragon back.” He flies back to her side of the field.

Alexis draws. She plays another Hinotama to inflict another 500 points of damage to 300. (800 – 500) Attack!” He fires three blasts of energy at Exodia Necros. But, he punches it back and the energy is knocked back destroying her monster.

Keyoki, “I played my face-down, Mirror Force. Your dragon is destroyed.” She is shocked.

Alexis summons Masked Dragon in defense. (1100) She ends her turn.

Keyoki draws. Necros gains 500 points to 3800. (3300 + 500) "Attack!” He punches and destroys Masked Dragon.

Alexis says that can and will Special Summon Troop Dragon. (700)

Keyoki says, “I guess that is your best? Sad. Keyoki says, “I end my turn.”

Alexis thinks of Shawn, Amy, and Michael. How bad it would be to lose. She draws. “I will win!” She smiles. She activates Soul Release. So, I remove all five pieces of Exodia from play.” He is shocked. “I know its one true weakness. It needs all the Exodia pieces in your graveyard.” Exodia Necros explodes. “Now, attack direct Troop Dragon!” He slashes Keyoki. (300 – 700 = 0) Troop Dragon disappears.

All of the people, including the person in the throne, walk toward her as Keyoki stands up. They are all around her. The person who sat in the throne walks up to her. He says, “Welcome, Alexis.” She smiles.

 

NEXT TIME: Shawn is released from the hospital in search of someone to train him.

Training with Artos-Sensei

 

In his hospital bed, Shawn is finally opening his eyes. Amy, watching smiles and runs to the open door and screams, “Michael, he is awake!” Michael, at the end of the hallway, runs to his room. They both enter as Shawn sits up.

Shawn asks, “How long have I been out?”

Amy looks down, “One week. Good news is that Majino will accept a rematch.” Shawn smiles. “He looks at his uncovered torso and sees bandages over his shoulders and a couple of layers over his forehead that goes around his head. He moves his hand and touches it.

He says, “Well, I can walk, right?” Amy nods. “Good. Now, I need to find someone to train me to get ready to fight with him again. But who?”

Amy says that while Shawn was out, I was thinking you would think that, so I found this guy called Artos Marabi. He trained all the former rulers before Tyler. Plus, he is very strong for his old age.

Shawn shocked, “How old?”

She says, “Seventy. How, that a problem?”

Shawn repeats, “Seventy!”

 

One week later, Shawn is being released from the hospital. A female person behind a clear shield hands him the bill.

He looks at it and says, “Three-Hundred Fifty dollars!”

She says, “You were here for two weeks! What do you expect you owe us, five dollars! Plus, when you were admitted, you had to be on a breathing apparatus.”

Shawn says confused, “A what?!”

Amy says, “Oh, yeah! I forgot to tell you, you had a have a machine make you breathe. So, without that, you would be dead.”

Shawn blushes and lowers his head.

 

Now in front a brick building. There is sign with ‘Training Area'. Below it is “with Artos-Sensei” the go through the door where a small room with another door leading into a large battle area. In the middle of a class, students are fighting each other. They walk through the middle of this, barely missing several kicks and punches. In the back, an old-looking man with white hair in a black robe has his knees under his body watching his students. They finally reach him.

They all position in front of him and bow. He bows in return. He stands up and claps his hands loudly. The students stop and bow to their opponent. Then, they all leave. He sits down again in the same position. Shawn says, “Can you make them do anything else?” Amy jabs him. “Sorry.”

He says, “So, this is the ‘Shawn’ you told me about. He definitely looks weak.”

Shawn clinches his fist and gets in his face, “What you say?”

He extends out his left arm and pokes Shawn in the forehead. Shawn holds it in pain. “How dare you, old man!” He leaps up and tires to kick him. Amy and Michael duck. The man grabs his leg and then pushes it back. Shawn falls back. “How did you?”

The man says, “I am Artos-Sensei. Now, if you try that again, I will actually try and break your leg.”

Amy says, “Shawn needs your training, sensei. He wants a rematch with Majino.”

He says, “Oh, how is my former student doing?” All are shocked. “Are you shocked?” They all shake their heads. “I will train him, I know his weakness, everyone has one. So, you two go to the side and watch.” They get up and walk to the side of the walls. Shawn gets up after Artos does. He puts his hands behind his back. “Try to punch me.”

Shawn says, “I will enjoy this.” He makes a fist and throws a punch. Artos catches it and uses his other hand to punch him in the stomach. Shawn falls down holding his stomach. Artos retract his arms.

He says, “I have years of training and am a sixth degree black belt.

Shawn says, “Wow, I really want to know your weakness.”

He says, “Good luck. Only when you beat me, will I tell you.”

Shawn says, “What am I waiting for, then.”

He says, “Well, it won’t be easy. But, try again.” Shawn steps back and runs to him. Artos makes one step forward and hits him with two fingers in his neck, chest and arms. Shawn falls down unable to move. “Pressure points. That may be the only thing you need to know. But, other than that, I will tell you how to strike faster and more precisely. Now, your weakness is, that you leave body open for attack when you strike. You need to learn how to block and attack simultaneously.

Shawn says, “Let’s start, then.” He gets up with a smile on his face.

Amy and Michael look at each other with concern. Michael says, "He will be okay. Besides, why do you card? He your boyfriend?'

She blushes before saying that that is impossible. Michael laughs as Shawn hits the wooden floor on his back.

Amy sighs before saying that it will be awhile before Shawn is ready.

Daily Dueling- Episode 27

The Rematch with Majino

 

Amy, Shawn, and Michael are now exiting the training area. Shawn next to Amy and next to Michael, says, “That was nice of him to give us a healthy lunch.”

Amy says, “Well, the way Artos-Sensei beat you, you needed it.”

Shawn says angered, “If it weren’t for the fact that he also trained you, I would kick your butt. Still, I wonder how Alexis is doing?”

Meanwhile, in a dark alley, Alexis is dueling teenage boy with 100 Life Points left. He has no cards in his hand or on the field. She has 4000 Life Point left and a Blue-Eyes U. Dragon (4500) out. She says, “Now, ultimate blast!” He fires three blasts of energy at him reducing his points to 0. (100 – 4500) Her monster disappears. “I never wanted to do this. Still, looks like Makio Ruko (her opponent) isn’t as good as we thought.” She walks past him. She turns her head and decides to walk back and picks him up on her shoulder. “I want to know what this ‘Secret Society’ does.”

Now, Shawn leading Michael and Amy has made it to Majino’s gate. Shawn says, “Okay, you two stay back. I don’t want you to get hurt.” Majino takes off his duel disk.

He says, “Oh, Shawn. Welcome back. Do you want to lose again or have you trained?” Shawn raises two fingers. Shawn takes off his duel disk and hands to Amy. Majino grins. Majino drops his to the ground.

Majino rushes with a clinched fist. Shawn barely dodges and uses his elbow to hit Majino in the neck. He automatically falls down. Shawn puts his foot on his back and puts pressure on it. Majino easily sits up forcing Shawn to life his foot and step back.

He asks, “So, who did you train under?” Shawn throws a punch, which Majino catches and pushes Shawn back.

He says, “Artos-Sensei.” Majino grins. They both run to each other and punch each other in the chest. A small crowd starts growing. They both step back. “Let’s see who is better.” Shawn runs to Majino and tries to kick him. Majino catches it. Shawn spins around, hitting him in the head. This knocks them both down.

Shawn remembers the days of training he spent with Artos-Sensei. One day, both were tired, Artos kicked Shawn, and spun around knocking them both down. Artos gets up. “Always have something hidden. I say that to all my students.”

Shawn says, “Then how am I going to surprise him?”

Artos replies, “That’s up to you.”

Now, Majino is up and jumps up over Shawn. He rolls out missing the attack. Shawn kicks Majino’s foot. He steps back. Shawn kicks and throws punches until Majino hits a brick wall and falls through a window. Shawn jumps through and lands in front of him. Majino grabs his legs and pulls him forward into the wall. He lets go and runs to the other side. Shawn looks down and sees a sword. He picks it up.

He runs to Majino and blood gushes out of the wound on Majino’s right hand. “I told you, I prefer hand-to-hand.”

While Shawn trained with Artos, he was able to use a sword, but he couldn’t do a thing. With his sword on the ground, he bent down to pick it up and Artos said, “All my students can absorb the force of any weapon that requires hands.

Shawn takes it out, and steps back. Amy and Michael, with the group of citizens, watching from the small window. He straightens it and runs toward Majino. He catches it with his hands and with blood flowing he pulls it from his hands and tosses it to the ground. He looks up and sees Shawn with two daggers in hands, one in each hand, rushing toward him. Blood spreads as it hits the ground. The two daggers in Majino’s left hand, it is completely through. The other is Shawn’s other hand, which has been caught by Majino.

Majino slides his hand down to Shawn’s wrist, and bends it. Shawn drops the weapon and Majino catches it with the same hand. Shawn pulls the other dagger out. Majino gets closer to Shawn and kicks him in the stomach, and stabs Shawn in the center of the lower back. Shawn coughs up blood. He says, “I don’t want to kill you.” He pulls it out as blood falls to the ground. He sees a thick vest that could stop bullets. Both drop their weapon to the ground. Shawn jumps up and punches Majino in the chest and in the temple. Majino catches and walks over to a wooden table.

Shawn remembers when him and Artos were about to finish their fight, Shawn kicked him down and Artos lands on his hand and spins around kicking Shawn to the ground. Artos stops and jumps up. “When you are about to lose, move turn the tide, and always do something unexpected.”

Now, Shawn lowers himself to the table and gets up and spins around so that Majino is forced to turn his back. He lowers his body and grabs a chair. Majino picks him up, but Shawn uses the chair to bash Majino’s head. He falls over and lands on the wooden table, with Shawn still being held, causing it to split in half and causing him to falls to the concrete floor. Majino is now bleeding from his forehead.

Outside, Amy, Michael and the group of people cheer as Shawn gets up. He helps Majino up and says, “I win.” Majino smiles. Majino and Shawn shake hands as they are both huffing. He says, “Go win for all of us. For everyone suffering because of Tyler.” Both of their metal bracelets glow orange.

Meanwhile, Tyler spin in his chair and says, “Looks like Shawn has gotten better. I wonder how much. Still, he won’t beat the only fourth gatekeeper.” He laughs manically.

Daily Dueling- Episode 28

The Duel For Freedom Part 1

 

 

Alexis is carrying a girl about her age on her shoulders. She remembers the duel with her. She had three Blue-Eyes W. Dragons (3000) and 2000 Life Points left. Her opponent, Jinko Muko, had 1300 Life Points left and a Cyberdark Horn (800) equipped with Armed Dragon LV3. So, It gained 1200 points to 2000. (800 + 1200) It is Alexis’s turn. She draws. She declares its attack. Her three dragons shoot their attacks at her monster. The first shot destroys the equipped monster, Armed Dragon LV3. This attack reduces Jinko's points to 300. (1300 + 2000 – 1000) Her monster survives. It loses the bonus reducing its ATK to 800. (2000 – 1200) The second shot destroys her monster. (3000 – 800 = 2200)(300 – 2200 = 0) The field clears.

Now, Amy, Shawn, and Michael are walking through the nearly empty third community. Shawn’s stomach growls. He says, “Let’s eat, that okay with you guys?”

Amy says, “We ate 20 minutes ago. Besides, we are getting close to the fourth gate.”

Shawn says, “Fine.”

 

 

The next day, Alexis is in front of the leader of the Secret Society in the dark, fire-lit room. He looks over her and nods his head. She does the same thing. She asks, “Can I leave?”

He says, “Only if you beat me. Why?”

Alexis says, “Well, I have been having a hard time beating people just so see how strong they are. It is pointless since we (Secret Society) have no motives.”

He says, “Actually, we do. But, I can’t tell you. If you ask why, I will have to punish you.”

She says, “Why don’t we duel now, then. I’ll even let you go first.”

He says, “Fine.” A person walks out of the crowd and gives him a duel disk. Another person comes with two metal bracelets, the same Shawn, and friends are wearing. “Don’t worry about these. The person runs back. He puts it on and puts in his deck before walking about 5 feet away from her. She puts in her deck.

Thier duel starts. He draws. “First, I am Yuki Moshi. I summon Royal Magical Library in defense. (2000) Two face-downs to end my turn.”

Alexis draws and summons Spear Dragon. (1900) She equips it with Dragon’s Treasure, so it gains 300 ATK points to 2200. (1900 + 300) She declares its attack. He flies up and fires an orange-colored blast from its mouth. Plus, you still lose points. Due to Spear Dragon's efect, his points drop to 3800. (4000 + 2000 – 2200) Then, he goes to defense. (300) Next, she plays Dragon’s Gunfire, so he loses 800 points. A fireball falls from the sky, but disappears.

Yuki says, “I play my face-down, Magic Jammer, so I discard a card from my hand, Dark Magician, to negate and destroy your spell.”

Alexis ends her turn.

Yuki draws. “I play my face-down, Call of The Haunted, so I return my Dark Magician. (2500) I summon Time Wizard. (500) I play its effect.” He gets a coin from his pocket. “I flip a coin, and call it, if I call it right, then, your monsters are destroyed. Here I go.” He flips it. “Heads.” He catches it, and flips it over. “Heads. Say good-bye to your monster.” Her dragon explodes and her spell also explodes. He puts the coin back in his pocket. “Also, since I played my Time Wizard’s effect, and called it right, I can tribute my Dark Magician to summon my Dark Sage.” (2800) “His monster is covered in a white circle, when it disappears, the Dark Sage appears. I play its effect, to add a spell card to my hand. I choose Mystical Space Typhoon. Now, attack directly guys!” Time wizard hits her in the head, reducing her points to 3500. (4000 – 500) Dark Sage also hits her with his long staff reducing her points to 700. (3500 – 2800) He ends her turn. He suggests her to end give up.

Alexis draws and summons. “I play Raigkei, so your monsters are destroyed.” A lighting bolt comes down, but misses.

Yuki says, “You forgot my Mystical Space Typhoon.”

Alexis says, “I summon Lord of D. (1200) While out, my Dragon-Type monsters cannot be targeted by effects of Spell, Trap or Monster effects. Next, I play The Flute of Summoning Dragon, so I special summon a dragon from my hand, my Blue-Eyes White Dragon.” (3000) A flute appears in front of him and he grabs it and blows loudly. “Lord of D., attack Time Wizard.” He punches and destroys Time Wizard reducing his points to 3100. (3800 + 500 - 1200) “Blue-Eyes W. Dragon, attack Dark Sage!” He fires a white lighting attack that hits and destroys his monster and reduces his points to 2900. (3100 + 2800 – 3000) She ends her turn.

Yuki draws. “I play Soul Exchange to summon a monster from my hand that requires two tributes, like my Suijin!” Her two monsters disappear and new monster appears. “He can’t attack this turn. Your go.”

Alexis draws. “I place a face-down to end my turn.”

Yuki draws. “I summon Whirlwind Prodigy. (1500) Attack directly Suijin!” He fires a large water stream that is absorbed by a blue shield. Alexis says, “I played my face-down, Negate Attack. So, your attack is negated.”

Yuki ends his turn.

Alexis draws. “I place another face-down to end my turn.”

Yuki draws. “I play my Whirlwind Prodigy’s effect, when I am summoning a WIND monster, I can use him as 2 tributes, so I summon Kazejin. (2400) Attack!” He fires a breeze at her, but is negated by a metal shield.

Alexis says, “Draining Shield, so your attack is negated, and I gain 2400 points to 3100.” (700 + 2400)

Yuki says, “Fine, I got one more attack, attack directly Suijin!” He fires a ball of water at her. Her Life Points drop to 600. (3100 – 2500) He ends is turn.

Alexis draws. “I summon Troop Dragon in defense. (800) Your go.”

Yuki draws. “Suijin, attack!” He fires another sphere of water at her dragon. It hits and destroys her monster.”

Another appears in defense. (800) Alexis says, “When it is destroyed, I can Special Summon another.”

Yuki says, “Fine, attack Kazejin!” He fires a ball of wind, which hits and destroys it. “Now, Pot of Greed to let me draw 2 cards. I tribute my monsters to tribute summon Sanga of The Thunder. (2600) I play Premature Burial to bring back Suijin. (2500) I pay 800 points dropping my points to 2100.” (2900 – 800) I play Monster Reborn to Special Summon back Kazejin. (2400) I tribute them all to summon Gate Gaurdian. (3750) He ends his turn with a grin on his face.

The Duel For Freedom Part 2

 

Alexis is dueling Yuki. Yuki has the Gate Guardian (3750) out and 2100 Life Points left. Alexis has no monsters out and 600 Life Points left. It is her turn. She draws and smiles.

“I play Graceful Charity, to draw 3 cards and discard two.” She looks at the three cards, two Blue-Eyes White Dragons and a Dragon’s Mirror. She discards her two dragons. “I play Dragon’s Mirror, and remove three Blue-Eyes White Dragons to summon my Blue-Eyes U. Dragon. (4500) Attack!” He fires three blasts of blue energy at his monster, destroying it. This attack reduces his points to 1350. (2100 + 3750 – 4500 = 1350) She ends her turn.

Yuki draws. “I play Archfiend’s Oath, so I can pay 500 Life Points and draw 1 card. Though I have to guess its card name right to add it to my hand or discard it. I play it right now." his points drop to 850.(1350 – 500) "Gyroid.” He draws and looks at it before smiling. “I am right. I summon him in defense. (1000) He has to be destroyed twice in battle before being sent to the graveyard." He ends his turn.

Alexis draws. Then, she ends her turn.

Yuki draws. “I play my Archfiend’s Oath." His points drop to 350. (850 - 500) "I guess, Hinotama." He draws and smiles. "Hinotama. I have gotten so close to my cards, I can tell which is closet to me. I have become a little psychic. I activate Hinotama.” Fireballs fall from the sky, landing near Alexis. “You lose 500 points." Her points drop to 100. (600 – 500) He places a face-down card to end my turn.

Alexis draws and smiles. “I play Burial From The Different Dimension. I return the three removed Blue-Eyes to my graveyard. Now, De-Fusion, splitting my dragon into three.” Her dragon separate into three separate Blue-Eyes White Dragons. (3000) Now, attack my dragons!” They all attack with white lighting.

Yuki says, “Mirror Force, your monsters are destroyed.” Her monsters explode.

Alexis says, “My dragons. One face-down to end my turn.”

Yuki draws, “I play Dian Keto The Cure Master. I regain 1000 points to 1350. (350 + 1000) I play Archfiend’s Oath. His points drop to 850. (1350 – 500) "Dark Magician Girl.” He draws and looks before smiling. “I am right.” Alexis is worried. “I tribute Gyroid to summon Dark Magician Girl. (2000) She gains 300 ATK points for each “Dark Magician” in my graveyard." Her points raise to 2300. (2000 + 300) "Attack!” She fires a red–colored orb of energy at her and it hits. Yuki is sure he has won.

Alexis says, “I played Negate Attack to negate the attack."

Yuki says, “Damn. One face-down to end my turn.”

Alexis draws. “I place a face-down to end my turn.”

Yuki draws. “I summon Royal Magical Library in defense. (2000) I play Archfiend’s Oath." His points drop to 350 again. (850 – 500) "I guess Graceful Charity.” He draws and looks. “I am right again. I play Graceful Charity, draw 3 and discard 2. My Royal Magical Library gets two Spell Counters. One for each Spell Card played. I play my face-down, Miracle Restoring, so I remove two Spell Counters to special summon from my graveyard, my Dark Magician. (2500) My Dark Magician Girl loses her boost to 2000. (2300 – 300) I tribute my two magicians to summon my Sorcerer of Dark Magic. (3200) Alexis is amazed by his new monster. "Attack!” He uses his staff as if it is a sword and swigs it, but it lands into a blue sheep. “Let me guess, Scapegoat. You still have 3 left, right.” Three more appear. Alexis nods. “Your go. One more thing, traps cannot be activated when he is out.”

Alexis thinks of Amy, Shawn and Michael. She closes her eyes and draws. She opens her eyes and looks at the card. She smiles and says, “I switch my Sheep Token to attack mode. (0) Next, Creature Swap, our monsters switch.” They magically switch places. Yuki is shocked. “Now, attack!” He slashes and destroys the sheep tokens. His points drop to 0.(350 + 0 - 3200) The field clears. The people surrounding them are shocked and bow to her. “I didn’t know I was a queen.” The metal bracelets glow bright yellow in the center. Yuki falls to his knees.

Now, Amy, Shawn, and Michael have made it to the fourth gate. They are staring at the gatekeeper. The gatekeepr is a tall girl with long blonder hair and is wearing a white shirt with black pants. She says, “I am Loki Asura. I am the only fourth gate gatekeeper. To save time, lets duel all on once a three-on-one duel. All three move away from each other and all of them activate their duel disks.

Shawn says that seems unfiar. Amy kicks him down saying, "What are you doing!?" He gets up. Loki says that it is okay. She will still win.

They all say, “Duel!” The final duel with the gatekeepers has begun.

The Three-on-One Duel Part 1

 

Shawn, Amy, and Michael have all activated their duel disks. Loki, their opponent, says, “The order is Shawn, Amy, me, and Alexis. One final thing, we will all begin will 12,000 points. That way, it will be equal to an entire match. When you lose points, you lose points for you entire team. Now, let’s begin.”

Shawn draws and summons Elemental Hero Clayman in defense. (2000) He places a face-down card before ending his turn.

Amy draws and summons Slate Warrior in attack position. (1900) She places one face-down to end her turn.

Loki draws. “I summon Petit Moth in defense. (200) One face-down. Now, I play Back To Square One, and discard my Cocoon of Evolution. Your Slate Warrior returns to the top of your deck.” Amy’s monster turns to light and disappears. “Your go.”

Michael draws. “I summon Armed Dragon LV3. (1200) Attack Petit Moth!” He flies up and glides down, but is stopped by a blue shield.

Loki says, “Negate Attack, so your Battle Phase is over.” His dragon flies back.

Amy says, “I activate Ominous Fortunetelling. So, during my Standby Phase, I choose a card in your hand, and decide whether it is a Spell, Trap, or Monster card. If I guess it right, you lose 700 points.”

Michael says, “Your go, Shawn.”

Shawn draws. “Welcome my new Elemental Hero!”

Michael and Amy say in unison, “New Elemental Hero?”

Shawn continues, “I summon Elemental Hero Stratos!” A machine-like winged hero appears. (1800) “When summoned, I can and will add an ‘Elemental Hero’ monster to my hand from my deck. I add Sparkman to my hand. I play Polymerization to fuse Clayman and Sparkman to summon Elemental Hero Thunder Giant. (2400) I discard Burst Return to destroy your Petit Moth.” He fires a thunder bolt at her monster, it hits and destroys it. “Attack directly Stratos!” He jumps up and kicks Loki before jumping back. Her points drop to 10,200. (12,000 – 1800) “Thunder Giant, your turn!” He punches Loki. Her points drop to 7800. (10,2000 – 2400) She is knocked back, but eventually gets up. “Sorry. But, I am not done. Go, De-Fusion. So, Thunder Giant splits into Sparkman (1600) and Clayman. (800) Plus, they can attack as well. Now, go Sparkman, Clayman!” Her points drop to 5400. (7800 – 1600 + 2400) They each punch her once before jumping back. “Your go.” She almost falls down.

Amy draws. “Be easy, Shawn."

Loki says, "So, Shawn, Amy, your girlfriend?"

Shawn blushes before saying, "No! How why you ask?!"

Loki answers, "Whenever I dated a guy, I did the exact same thing as Amy did."

Amy says while blushing, "I play my Trap Card, so, left and monster.” She shows her the card, Great Moth. “So, you lose 700 points. Her points drop to 4700. (5400 – 700) I summon Lady Ninja Yae. (1100) Attack directly!” She kicks her. “Yeah!” Her points drop to 3600. (4700 – 1100) “Your go.”

Shawn says, "Be easy. Why don't you try it?"

Amy asks "What did you say?!"

Shawn says, "Oh, it was nothing."

Loki draws. “I play Call of The Haunted to return Petit Moth. (300) I play Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. Now, Monster Reborn to summon Cocoon of Evolution.” (0)

Michael asks why she brought back such weak monsters.

Loki says, “I can and will equip my Cocoon of Evolution to my Petit Moth.” Petit Moth is covered by Cocoon of Evolution. Two face-downs to end my turn.”

Michael draws. “First, my LV3 evolves to LV5.” His monster changes to white and changes form before getting color back. (2400) “Attack!” He throws a punch, but hits a clear barrier. “Mirror Force?”

Loki says, “Yes, so all monsters in attack mode are destroyed.” All of their monsters are destroyed one by one.

Michael says, “Sorry. One face-down to end my turn.”

Shawn draws. “It's okay. I will recover our loses. I summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman. (800) I draw 2 cards. I play Bubble Shuffle, switching Bubbleman (1200) and Petit Moth (300) to defense. Next, I tribute my Bubbleman to summon Elemental Hero Bladedge. (2600) Attack her monster!” He slashes and destroys one of two cylinders that appear. “Magic Cylinder?”

Loki says, “Yes. You lose 2600 points.” Shawn's team's points drop to 9400. (12,000 – 2600) "Anything else you want to do?”

Shawn says, “Your go, Amy.” He turns to her. She smiles.

Amy says, "I will save us."

 

NOTE: Bubbleman's effect is the same as the anime effect. Shawn still had one card in his hand when he Normal Summoned Bubbleman.
