i just had the idea of redoing the armor monsters before seeing this thread...

is that a coincidence or what?

i think active guard gains def for each armor monster out. not 100% sure though

Episode Four: Tag Duel! Deity and Mikhail!

 

"That was a fun duel Static."

"Whatever."

 

Static walked away, and Kyro followed. Deity figured that Static was upset about losing, since he had never lost before.

 

"Mikhail! That was so awesome! You beat the World Champion!"

 

Mikhail smiled. Deity knew then that Mikhail was very happy about winning, and that he had his Armor Deck.

 

"Deity, where are you going?"

I am going to Diamond City, so I can duel in the tournament there. What about you?"

"I don't think I have any plans. Is it ok if I go with you?"

"That would be awesome!"

"Ok then, we will go to Diamond City!"

 

Static and Kyro were walking.

 

"Static, you lost. How could you lose to Mikhail?"

"I don't know! I should have won. This is not good."

"I have an idea. You could enter that Diamond City Tournament and win the prize card."

"I don't want to enter a tournament like that."

"Do you know what the prize card is?"

"No, and I don't really care."

"Once you see the card, you will. Trust me Static."

"Ok, let me see the card."

 

Mikhail handed Deity some cards.

 

"What are these cards?"

"That is a deck I made. I want you to have it."

"Thanks a lot!"

"No problem. Make sure you duel your best with those cards."

"I am going to put some of them in my deck."

 

Mikhail handed one more card to Deity.

 

"Deity, I wanted to give you this card also."

"Awesome! What card is it?"

 

Deity looked at the card. It was Super Fusion. He thought it was awesome that he had that card, and he wanted to use it in his deck right away. It hadn't even been one day since he had left, and already he had a new friend and some awesome new cards.

 

"Where are you guys going?"

 

Two duelists were standing in front of Mikhail and Deity. They both had duel disks. Mikhail was wondering who they were.

 

"Who are you guys?"

"My Name Is Meta."

"And My Name Is Instinct."

"We are the tag team dueling champions! We don't lose tag duels!"

"I have always wanted to do a tag duel, what do you say Mikhail?"

"Sounds good to me."

"You two can't defeat us! We will duel you if you want!"

 

Mikhail and Deity put their decks in their duel disks, and they were ready to duel. Meta drew a card.

 

"I will go first. Then you, (he pointed to Deity), next will be Instinct, and after Instinct you will go (he pointed to Mikhail). What are your names?"

"My name is Mikhail."

"My name is Deity."

"Alright, let's duel! I summon The Six Samurai-Yariza in attack mode. Now I play one card face-down and end my turn."

"Deity, try your best! And don't worry, I am here for you!"

"Thanks Mikhail! I summon Herald Of Creation in attack mode! Then, I play Trade In! This card lets me discard my Felgrand Dragon to the graveyard, and draw two cards from my deck. I'm not done yet! I activate the spell card [united We Stand] and equip it to my Herald Of Creation. Now, for every monster on the field, my Herald Of Creation gains 800 attack points, so he is 2500! I end my turn."

"Great move Deity."

"I suppose it was ok, but Instinct and I are going to win!"

"Your right! My turn. I play one card face-down and end my turn."

"Alright! I will start by activating the spell card [Armor Search]. My Armor Search lets me take one Armor Monster and one Normal Spell card from my deck, and add those cards to my hand! I choose my Psychic Armor Head, and Shield And Sword."

 

Deity was very excited because he had a new deck, he was dueling in a tag duel, and dueling with Mikhail. He was going to win this duel.

 

"Now I summon Psychic Armor Head in attack mode. I activate the spell card Armored Gravitation. That means I can special summon my Active Guard from my deck!"

 

Meta smiled.

 

"I don't really like you Mikhail. I have heard of you before. You dueled Static in the World Championship. Once I play this trap card, you will be out of the duel. Go, Samurai Strength! I can discard one card from my hand and inflict damage to your lifepoints and my lifepoints equal to the monsters level stars times 700. Since my Great Shogun Shien has 7 stars, we each lose 4900! That means it will just be Instinct and Deity. I don't think that Deity is a great duelist, so it's not too much of a problem."

 

Mikhail wasn't sure if Deity could win the duel.

Episode Five: Activate Super Fusion! Felgrand Armor Dragon!

 

Deity felt weird. He was amazed that Meta brought Mikhail's Lifepoints to zero in one turn. If Meta was this good, how could was Instinct? That's what Deity was wondering. He would find out. Mikhail knew Deity could win if he tried hard enough, especially if he was able to draw that card....How many times had that card been used in Mikhail's own deck? How many victories had it brought Mikhail? Even Jaden Yuki, one of the pro duelists used the Super Fusion card to summon the incredble Rainbow Neos. Mikhail wasn't suprised that he lost. He didn't know what it was that made him feel like that, but Mikhail had expected Meta to be a good duelist. Of course, almost every duelist had heard of Mikhail, but not every duelist had heard of Deity Mitsu. Mikhail decided that Deity was a good duelist the first time he met him, and he believed that. It was Deity's turn.

 

"It's my move! I'm going to show Mikhail that I am a good duelist, by defeating you! Now, Herald Of Creation, attack Instinct's Lifepoints directly! Nova Storm!"

"I don't think so. This is what Meta was talking about, you aren't a good duelist. If you were, you would have taken into consideration the fact that I have a face-down card! Go, Defending The Treasure! By discarding one card from my hand, I can negate your monster's attack, and destroy one monster on the field. Obviously I am going to destroy your [Herald Of Creation] because it is the only monster on the field."

"Alright then. You win some, you lose some. That's how it works. But anyway, I am going to play one card face-down and end my turn."

 

Deity thought he had upset Mikhail by making such a bad move, but he noticed that Mikhail wasn't upset. He was smiling. Then Deity understood. He had to learn that all duelists made mistakes sometimes, and realizing these mistakes was a step in the right direction. He didn't like making mistakes, but there was nothing wrong with it.

 

"Deity, you would be better off just quitting now. You aren't a good duelist. Go back home and duel with your friends. You won't make it in the pros."

 

He thought about what Instinct said. Was he right? Deity looked at Mikhail, but he didn't say anything. This was a decision that Deity had to make on his own. He loved dueling. He cared about his cards, the new ones he got from Mikhail, and his original cards. He had even made a deck, using both of those sets. Deity didn't know what to do. He never thought he was a great duelist, but he really didn't care. Now that he was trying to become a pro duelist, it was more important. Did Mikhail want him to surrender? Deity made a decision. He knew he would be better off going back to his house, and not trying to be a pro. Deity moved his hand to the top of his deck. He wasn't a good duelist....

 

"You made a smart decision. You wouldn't be able to defeat me."

 

That didn't matter. Even if he wasn't good, he dueled for fun. He didn't quit before, and he wasn't going to start now.

 

"What the? Why you little.."

 

Mikhail laughed. He was proud. Deity made the right choice.

 

"I don't quit. I have never quit before, and I'm not about to start! So let's do this! I've got a duel to win!"

 

Meta couldn't believe it.

 

"Maybe he's not so bad after all. That doesn't mean he can defeat Instinct though."

 

"If that's how you want it, then whatever! I will win! I summon [Des Dragon] in attack mode. When my Des Dragon is Normal Summoned, I can select one monster in my hand and Special Summon it. I choose Winged Dragon, Guardian Of The Fortress #3 You have no monsters on the field Deity, and that means I can attack your Lifepoints directly! Des Dragon, attack Deity's Lifepoints directly! Hydro Flame!"

 

Deity smiled.

 

"I wouldn't be smiling if I were you!"

"And Why is that?"

"I am going to win!"

"Actually, I plan on doing that! When I attacked on my last turn, you criticized me for not thinking about your Trap Card! You made the same mistake here! I activate Dragon's Pride Now, I can discard 4 cards to the graveyard, and Special Summon one Dragon type monster from the graveyard! Say hello to my Felgrand Dragon!"

"No way! How could a weak duelist like you summon a monster that strong?!"

"It's simple. I'm not weak."

"You are weak. Don't deny it! You won't win! I don't know if you realize this, but your Felgrand Dragon doesn't get to activate it's Special Ability, because it wasn't on the field first!"

"I know that. It's okay though! Because your Des Dragon is too weak to destroy Felgrand Dragon, and so is your Winged Dragon, Guardian Of The Fortress #3!"

"You haven't won yet. I play the Spell card Double Summon, so I can Normal Summon another monster! I tribute my Des Dragon and Winged Dragon, Guardian Of The Fortress #3, to summon Red Eyes Black Dragon! Then I play one card face-down and end my turn."

 

Deity drew a card. He looked at it, then looked at the field. He had picked up Super Fusion. The card's effect let Deity fuse any monsters on the field to summon a new monster. When Mikhail gave him this card, he put it right in his deck. Now that he had picked it up, he wasn't sure what to do.

 

"Alright! I can't play this card now, so Felgrand Dragon will attack your Red Eyes Black Dragon!"

"I activate Metalmorph! I can send Metalmorph and my Red Eyes Black Dragon to the graveyard, to Special Summon one Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon from my deck! How's that!"

"It's awesome! That's a nice monster you got there. Is it ok if I borrow it?"

"What do you mean?"

 

Instinct was confused, but he figured Deity was just trying to act tough. He wasn't.

 

"I activate the Spell Card Super Fusion!"

"How?! A duelist like you could never get that card!"

"I got it from a friend. And I am going to make that friend proud! Now, I am going to fuse my Felgrand Dragon with your Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon to summon Felgrand Armor Dragon!"

"That card has 3000 attack points!"

"That's right! Felgrand Armor Dragon, attack his Lifepoints directly! Nova Fist!"

 

Felgrand Armor Dragon's attack brought Instinct's Lifepoints down to 1000.

 

Mikhail looked at Meta.

 

"Meta! You said Instinct was going to win! That's not happening!"

"It's amazing. Deity is a great duelist. I didn't know that. I feel bad for insulting him without even knowing how good he was."

 

Deity heard what Meta said. Mikhail and Meta were proud of him. Now all he had to do was win.

 

"I don't know what to say Deity. I found out you were a good duelist when you decided not to quit. But now, I respect you. That doesn't mean you are going to win! I summon Abnarg, the Great Dragon! Although Abnarg only has 1900 attack points, I can discard one card from my hand to increase his attack points by 1500 points! Now, Abnarg, The Great Dragon, destroy his Felgrand Armor Dragon! You did all that work for nothing!"

"I don't think so! When Felgrand Armor Dragon battles another monster, I can send the top 3 cards of my deck to the graveyard to increase his attack by 2000 points! That means he can destroy your Abnarg! Nova Fist!"

 

Instinct's Lifepoints become zero. Deity had won the duel for him and Mikhail. He had also earned the respect of his opponents.

 

"Thank you for a great duel! It was really fun!"

"No problem."

 

Instinct and Meta then walked away, and Mikhail looked at Deity.

 

"I am proud of you. That was a good duel."

"It means a lot to me."

Episode Six: The Battle Against Darkness Begins! Kyro's Plan Revealed!

 

After defeating Meta and Instinct in a Tag Duel, Deity and Mikhail continued towards Diamond City.

 

"Mikhail, I want to thank you for giving me these cards. Thanks to the cards you gave me, I was able to win that duel."

"Your welcome. I should tell you, there will be tougher opponent's than Meta and Instinct. The path to becoming a professional duelist is not an easy one, but a rewarding one."

"I really want to become a pro duelist, and I am going to try my best. I love dueling, and I want to get better."

"All you have to do is trust yourself, and your deck. It is ok to lose a duel if you try your hardest."

"I know. At one point in that duel, I was going to quit. I thought it would have been the best choice. Then, I gathered up some confidence, and decided to finish the duel, no matter what."

"That is good. If you had surrendered, that would have meant you weren't good enough to be a pro, and you should have just gone home. You proved yourself, and I am proud of you."

 

Kyro is standing outside of the Diamond City Duel Arena. He had gotten Static to come, making the first part of his plan a sucess. To Kyro, Static was a useless duelist. He was nothing. Although he won a lot of his duels, Static was only useful to Kyro for his dueling energy. Kyro planned to have Static win the Diamond City Tournament, and then duel Static for the prize card. He wasn't worried about Deity Mitsu entering the tournament, but he was worried about Mikhail entering. Not worried much, but enough that he wanted to do something about it. Kyro didn't want to duel Mikhail, he wanted someone else to do it instead. He had Meta and Instinct duel against Mikhail and Deity, but they didn't win. Kyro wasn't going to make a mistake this time. A duelist walked up to Kyro.

 

"Master Kyro, what is it you want me to do?"

"I want you to challenge Mikhail to a duel. Tell him that you want to duel him for his spot in this tournament. Make sure you win."

"It will be easy, don't worry."

"I hope your right."

 

After walking for about three hours, Mikhail and Deity Mitsu finally reach Diamond City.

 

"This is it, Diamond City."

"Have you been here before, Deity?"

"Nope. It looks really awesome!"

"This is a great city. Many pro duelists come here."

 

Elsandero noticed Mikhail and Deity.

 

"Hello there, how are you?"

"Who are you?"

"My Name Is Elsandero. What one of you is Mikhail?"

 

Mikhail was suprised. This kid knew his name.

 

"I am, why do you ask?"

"I'd like to duel you."

"A duel?"

"Yes. If I defeat you, I get your spot in the Diamond City Tournament. If you win, I will give you a rare card."

 

Deity thought this was more than a coincidence. How did Elsandero know Mikhail's name, and why did he want his spot in the tournament? Maybe Elsandero was an opponent Mikhail dueled in a different tournament. Mikhail wouldn't really agree to this, would he?

 

"I agree."

 

Elsandero smiled. This was easier than he thought. All he had to do was defeat Mikhail, and Kyro's plan would be a guaranteed sucess. Elsandero knew Mikhail wouldn't be an easy opponent, but he would defeat him.

 

"Let's duel then. You can go first if you'd like."

"Ok."

 

Deity wanted Mikhail to win. Although he didn't know how good Elsandero was, Deity thought Mikhail would win anyway.

 

"I summon Jet Gauntlet in attack mode! Now, I set one card face-down and end my turn."

"Using an Armor Deck, I see. Alright, I summon Razezon! Thanks to my Razezon's effect, I can summon another monster from my hand! I choose Razasip. When Razasip is Special Summoned, I get to draw an extra card from my deck! Now I activate the Spell Card Raza Draw! By discarding one monster from my hand with Raza in it's name, I can draw two cards from my deck! I will end my turn with one face-down card!"

"Impressive Move. You have some potential. I activate the Spell Card A-Armor Draw! For each Armor Monster in my hand, I can draw a card. I have two Armor Monsters in my hand, so I can draw two cards from my deck! I'm not done yet, I summon my Over Boost now! That will do it for now. Your move."

"Your monsters are strong, but can they defeat me Prophet Of Raza? The answer is no! You can see for yourself! I tribute my Razezon and Razasip to summon Prophet Of Raza. My Prophet Of Raza has a special ability! When he is Normal Summoned, all cards on your side of the field are destroyed! Do you think you can win?!"
