Matt used the EA Device on lickitung. It displays a note from Maple's original journey across Arouri before anyone else.

 

Maple's Log - "The Legendary Lickitung".

I've encountered the stragest of Pokemon today. Not a new one, but an already discovered one called "Lickitung". Its Level seems to change each time its fed. Depending on what its fed, it will get different abilities. However, once I fed the pokemon, it would not leave me alone for days. If finally stopped when I gave it a specific food. Then, it did whatever I told it to do out of graditude. It likes the food with the "perfect" flavour.

Matt took out his EA device and messaged Maple, "Hey i read your report about the lickitung, ive found the same one, what is this specific food" he sent in the message

Maple sent back her message. "Sorry. The rainbow melon is so rare, I've only seen one in my life time. I had to give it to that lickitung before it ate all of my items. I heard some other trainers have some, you might be able to trade/buy it off of them." Even as he read the message, Matt could see the Lickitung trying to chew on his Spook Flute.

"HEY HEY, OFF MY FLUTE" he said as he gave the lickitung another banana, then he wrote a message to every trainer with a EA device "Hey if anyone has a Rainbow melon i need it very badly, im willing to pay, if you have one you are willing to sell come to Twinriver, "Now lets go to Twinriver" he said as he started to walk towards his town

IMPORTANT!

Now that the Halloween event is almost over, here is the full run-down on what exactly it was. What you had to do, what you missed, etc.

 

 

On October 22nd the “Halloween Island” appeared south of The Pokemon Laboratory. A bridge connected it to the main land. On the Island was “Holly Day”, a trainer who explained the purpose of Halloween Island and the event. Each day, for 10 days, trainers could knock on 1 of any of the 10 houses and receive a treat. Eight of the ten houses contained guest appearances of popular Nintendo characters.

 

 

Characters and treats given:

1. *no character* / Spook Flute

2. Ash & Pikachu / Rare Candy

3. Ness / Haunt Ball

4. Mario / Muchroom x3

5. Donkey Kong / Banana x5

6. Captain Falcon / Chili Pepper x4

7. Kirby / [Does not give an item without a trainer first giving him a treat.] Rainbow Melon

8. The Ice Climbers / Egg Plant x2, Lemon x2

9. Link / Scary Mask

10. "no character* / [A Wild Lv13 “Plantern” attacks.]

 

Special Items/Pokemon:

1. Spook Flute

The Spook Flute can be used by Trainers any time outside of battle. Any wild Ghost Pokemon in the area will attack the Trainer.

 

2. Haunt Ball

A decorative Poke-Ball only available during Halloween. It has about the same capture rate as a normal Poke-Ball, but it looks cool.

 

3. Scary Mask

The Pokemon holding this item could replace any one of its moves with “Scary Face” while holding the item.

 

4. Plantern

This Pokemon is only available during this Halloween Event (2007). Since it is a Holiday Pokemon, it cannot be bred with other Pokemon to create an Egg.

Plantern does not learn any new techniques, and cannot be taught a new technique by a TM or an HM.

 

 

SECRETS:

1. The Haunt Ball and Plantern

If Plantern is captured via a Haunt Ball, its level become 31 and its trainer has the option of teaching it “Solar Beam”. This is the only exception to the rule that you can’t teach Plantern an attack.

 

2. Holly Day’s Bayleef

After meeting all 8 characters at least once, you could talk to Holly for a “special prize”. This prize was a battle with her and her Lv 20 Bayleef. If a trainer won, he/she received a Master Ball. Trainers could instead use a “Heist Ball” to capture her Bayleef. However, Holly would be so furious, you would not get your Master Ball for defeating her. The Bayleef would be turned “Shadow” by the Heist Ball, but once it is cured of this effect, it would become its unique Autumn-Coloured self. It is an extremely rare collector’s item. The first Pokemon bred from the Bayleef would be “Autumn-Coloured” too, but any Pokemon bred from either it or its offspring after that would be normal coloured.

 

3. The Spook Flute’s added effect:

If the Spook Flute is used on Halloween Island, a random Ghost Pokemon at a random Level will attack. This include ANY Ghost Pokemon, including an Arceus holding the Ghost Plate. However, once the encounter is over, the Spook Flute cannot be used until the next day.

 

Pokemon that appeared do to the effect of the Spook Flute:

A Lv70 Dusknoir appeared to Jason (asuma181).

Here is a short survey I would like each of you to PM me on the Halloween Event. It's optional, but I would appreciate you all doing this so I can better plan the Christmas Event.

 

1. Listing them from your favourite to least favourite, what did you like about this event? CHOICES: "Pokemon, Items, and Secrets"

2. Did you like the guest appearences of characters, and would you like to see more guest characters in the future?

3. Was the event too long or not fun enough?

4. Overall, what would you rate the event on a scale of 1 to 10?

[Don't worry, Holly Day will have an exclusive "Holiday" Pokemon during each event, so lets hope someone gets the Poke-Ball Crafter to make Heist Balls. Though Heist balls are praticlaly useless unless you have a pokemon that knows lots' o Dark moves.]

Theorized Type: Ghost / Dragon

Maple's Notes: The least powerful Alpha Pokemon. Should avoid playing music while in its territory, a potentionally lethal mistake.

Pikachu gained 7 EXP (7 to next level). George got another Capture Cage.

 

[sorry, you posted today, meaning Halloween Island, Holly Day, and the bridge connecting it to the main land has vanished. Anyone who was on the Island is now in front of Maple's Lab. Now the Island is back to its old self, ripe with sphere crystals.]

Geroge went to Prof. Maple and asked her to give him back his squirtle in exchange for Tyrogue. Then he used Squirtle's surf move and went to the island. He used his drill from the EA device. Meanwhile he had inserted a mushroom in the capture cage and left it near the sea
