IMPORTANT:

[Tomorrow is the start of the Community's Halloween Event. It will last 10 days and trust me, you'll want to get in on all 10 days. I also hope you guys are all stocked up on Pokeballs, because one of the things you can get is a Pokemon that will no be available again. If you're out of Pokeballs, try building a Pokemart. (You earn 5% of all profits made).]

DJ wanders further into the jungle, wondering when Twinriver Town would come into view. On his way through the jungle, he found 2 Bananas. [This actually counts as an encounter, lol. They have the same effect as an Oran Berry.] Suddenly, a wild Pokemon appeared! A Wild Lv16 Scyther attacks!

Indeed this new area was one to be seen. The river heading north from Twinriver Town eventaully opened up into a lake. Half the lake was ran sat inside a mountain. There was a small opening in the cave which suggested a new cave to explore. The entire area was covered in a very shallow mist. This new town would be called Shadowlake City.

 

Maple sent a message through the EA Device. “We do need Gym Leaders, but not right now. Once at least 8 towns have been made, then trainers wanting to be Gym Leader can step up. Since you are the founder of this town, you will have first “dibs” on it.”

[Doom Phoenix, I know practically nothing about Shadow Pokemon. Want changes should be made to Munchlax? From now on, I’ll mention was Pokemon are encountered and you tell me what “Shadow Moves” it should know when you post you pokemon choice and move set.]

While escaping, the Team Rocket Grunt dropped:

 

a Heist Ball

and TM03 (Pursuit).

 

[The Heist Ball can only be used to capture Pokemon belonging to another Player or an NPC. However, don't think you'll earn much respect using it. The Heist Ball only has a 1% chance of working. However, this percentage doubles each time the opposing Pokemon is hit with a Dark attack.]

While walking through the jungle... a Lv14 Chatot appears to George!

ok. prize money for the battle? in xd gale of darkness, even if the only pokemon your opponent had was a shadow pokemon and you snagged it, you still got prize money. don't ask how that works cause i don't know.

 

shadow pokemon info: also munchlax should have 4 moves it will have after being purified. as time goes on, put 2 of the moves in the open move slots. after munchlax is purified, the 2 shadow moves should be replaced with the 2 moves you didn't put. any exp a shadow pokemon gained, will be recived after they are purified. meaning as a shadow pokemon, they cannot lvl up or learn any new moves aside from the already asigned 4. tm's don't work on shadow pokemon. and at some point during a battle, if i shadow pokemon is hurt to much, or attacks alot, it will enter hyper mode, where all shadow atks will have a a high critical hit rate, but all moves done will have a recoil damege. you may take one turn to call to it, and it will revert to a normal shadow pokemon. in hyper mode you cannot use items on a shadow pokemon and they might not obey if you don't use a shadow move. hope this helps!

[Thanks, doom phoenix. That does help. But since I never palyed any of the Game Cube Pokemon games, you'll have to choose which "shadow moves" a "shadow pokemon" has.]

Pikachu uses Thunder Shock! It's super effective. Chatot is hit but retalitates with a Peck attack. It's not very effective... Pikach delivers another Thunder Shock. It's super effective. Chatot is knocked out.

 

Pikachu gains 7 EXP (23 to next level)

Spheal hits Sandshew with Bubbble. It's super effective. Sandshrew uses Defense Curl. That defense doesn't stop bubble... It's super effective. Sandshrew is knocked out.

 

Spheal gains 4 EXP (21 to next level). Jusoper gains 4 EXP (6 to next level).

 

 

[This is a reminder to all trainers. If you defeat a Pokemon with a Pokemon that has a type advantage to it, you will gain less EXP. However, you will gain double EXP if you win using a Pokemon with a Type disadvantage.]

Aipom uses Baton Pass... but it fails. Charmander hits Aipom with a scratch attack. Aipom scratches back. Charmader hits with another Scratch.... a critical hit! Aipom throws sand at charmander with a Sand Attack. Even with his accuracy down, charmanders still delivers a Scartch attack.

 

Both Pokemon are weak.
