Kory was cahllenged by Rocket Grunt. The Grunt sent out a LV12 Munchlax.

"Wow!" said Maple holding up the Magikarp. "I once heard of a Trainer who caught one of these while in the North. It looks like this is why the Magikarp has been able to survive while being the known as the "weakest" pokemon all these years, it can adapt greatly to its environment."

 

The Pokemon is revealed to be Artikarp (Water / Ice), the cousin of the Magikarp.

 

"This is an interesting field of study, if you want to get into the adaptations of Magikarp. Or you can start a new experiment."

 

You have collected 6 Pokemon. Matt received the "EXP Share". Give it to a Pokemon and they'll take half the EXP another Pokemon earns at the end of battle.

DJ Summers and Ivan walk into the lab. Inside there is a trainer showing the Professor a strange looking Magikarp.

"Oh, I forgot the new trainers were showing up today! Welcome, I am Prof. Maple. This is my apprentice, Matt." she said throwing the Magikarp back into Matt's arms. "As you both know, it is our job to create this region. There is a beach area and Police Station right outside my lab. Behind the lab is a jungle area (within which is the old Team Rocket base) and a cave. You can travel through the jungle area [3 encounters to travel through the jungle] and you'll arrive at our first town, Twinriver. From there, you can head West to a very snowy area and Matt's lab. There is a path heading Nroth, but there's nothing there right now."

 

[This may sound confusing, but don't worry, I will be creating a map of each area soon using sprites. The missions are displayed on my second post. New misssions will be added later.]

Maple noticed the phone ringging and turned on the video. "Hey, Josh." she said. *examines the Froslass* "You're right, that is strange an ice Pokemon would be hanging around the beach. I'll have to look into it, you just continue you mission."

 

Froslass was returned, it's holding an item! Josh received TM02 (Cut).

[When ravellign with a Pokemon that knows Cut, you can travel through the jungle without having to go through any encounters]

George walked into the lab. "It sure si busy today," complained Maple. "Sure, what Kind of TM are you looking for?" [specify Type]

"it's an honor to meet you prof Maple. Did you happen to notice aways along the beach,

past the frozen sand, between to beach and the sea there's a large muddy area. I saw it from the ship's crow's nest. If you don't mind id like to check it out and do a little research in that area for you.

 

ooc:this is just a suggestion. im thinking Ground-water pokemon would be found there,

probly 2-3 encounters to get there

[This is my best shot at “Shadow” Pokemon.]

Munchlax used Shadow Rush. Rio is hit, but uses counter to return the damage. Rio uses Force Palm. A Critical Hit! Munchlax is paralyzed. Mucnlax can’t make a next attack, but the following attack is a Shadow Down to lower’s Rio’s Defense. Kory throws a “Snag” ball.

ooc: had to try right.

"well i'll see what's going on in twinriver city then. Word though the grape vine is it needs a Pokemart. I'd be

glad to do whatever i can Proffessor.

DJ wandered though the Jungle until he came across a Pokemon. It's a Lv13 Aipom!

Turtwig Absorbs health from Charmander... It's not very effective. Charmander strikes back with Scratch. Turtwig hits back with a Tackle attack. Charmader leers at Turtwig. Turtwig goes for another Tackle, but it misses. Ivan throws a Pokeball at Turtwig... but it breaks free!

 

Charmander is at half health. Turtwig s at 3/4 health.

 

[suggestion, against a higher Level Pokemon, you should have opened up with a "Scrath, Scratch, Scratch" opener and used a Pokeball after I posted the results.]

After Josh recieved his Froslass, he got back on his bike and headed toward the area Maple told him about. He examined the HM along the way, and considered which pokemon should get it......

 

He arrived at the place. It had a dark, evil vibe to it, yet it was a beautiful place.

 

"Larvitar, come on out and use Construct!"

 

A Pokemon Center appeared when Larvitar was done.

 

"Hmmm....I think I will call this town...I don't know. It's dark, yet beautiful. There's a small lake here....Hey! I'll call this town Shadowlake City! I better tell Maple."

 

He got back on the phone. Then, he got an idea. He got on the phone, but she wasn't there, so he left a message.

 

"Hey, Maple, it's Josh. I built the pokemon center. I decided to call the town Shadowlake City. And, I have an Idea. I want to be a gym leader."
