Matt received the “Old Lure”. Can be used with the EA Device to catch fish for Pokemon in bodies of water.

Froslass starts off with an Icy Wind. But it’s not very effective... Growlithe used Odor Sleuth. Growlithe was returned for Dark Teddiursa. Teddiursa was hit by an Icy Wind. It took damage and its speed was lowered. Froslass used Doulbe Team... but if failed do to Odor Sleuth.

[sorry, Frogger is going to build the next town. Prof Crane sent a “Shadow Ring” which acts similar to that device you mentioned. Basically it purifies Pokemon, they just need to be holding it when they evolve. If you want to help get rid of the “Shadow” Pokemon, then talk to Prof. Maple, she’s finally back. So this means all “Dark” Pokemon like Larvitar and Teddiursa are now “Shadow Pokemon”]

 

On his way through the jungle (3 encounters, remeber?) Kory finds a TM01 (Fire Blade). Similar to Leaf Blade (created by duelmaster if I remember correctly), only a choice few FIRE pokemon can use it.

Pinsir opened the door. In there there was a pokeball. It was shacking by the time he entered the room. When George got nearer the ball it glowed and a Pokemon emerged from it

hello? prof. maple? i'm back from the lab and, (see's her with a machiene that looks vaguly familliar(snag machiene))

Soon a tug happened apon matt's rod, a pokemon was about to appear

Matt waited a while until finally he got a bite. A Wild Lv5 Pokemon appears! It’s a.... Magikarp?!?!

Froslass uses Icy Wind. Froslass was hit by lick. It’s not very effective... Froslass is Paralyzed. Teddiursa’s speed is decreased. Froslass can’t attack due to paralysis. Teddiursa uses Fury Swipes... it hits 3 times! Frosslass wants to attack, but is hit with paralysis again. Teddiursa goes for another set of Fury Swipes. It hits 4 times!

 

Teddiursa is at half HP. Froslass is weak.

“Ah, Kory! I’m glad you I caught you!” said Prof. Maple. “I have a new job for you if you’re up to it. I talked to this Prof. Crane and he sent me his....”

 

Kory received the Snag Machine. [use any type of Pokeball with it to “Snag” Shadow Pokemon. It’s kind of like a Heist Ball, but has a higher capture rate and only works on Shadow Pokemon.]

 

“It’s used to capture “Shadow Pokemon” that have been showing up on the Island. It seems Team Rocket has taken a liking to them. This device will make you unique in the ability to cast away the shadows. To see the Shadow Pokemon, you will need this...”

 

Kory received the Sight Scope. [An upgrade to the EA Device. At the start of battle, it will identify “Shadow Pokemon”. It can also be used outside of battle to view unseen threats.]

yes i will. if i remember corectly a friend of mine used this once. i guess it's my turn.(heads out into forest and back to the rocket lab to investigate)

ooc: btw, shadow pokemon have 5 ways to be "purified". the first three are

1. taking them with you

2. battling with them

3. using scents or other items

these are the more common and easy ways. shadow ring boosts the effect of 1 and 2

the next 2 are

4. the purifaction chamber(you can include later on if needed. prof. crane will have to arive and install it though

5. celibi(don't think thats happening soon)

 

over time move spaces not occupied by shadow moves(when caught they forget all moves used in battle but shadow moves) will be revealed. hope this helps with the shadow system

Chimchar uses a Quick Attack! it hits the target, but Tropius returns with a Gust.

while searching the rocket lab for clues on the other maples whereabouts, kory spys a grunt appearntly left behind, picking up rocket items and other wise. "hey you stop!"

"Hey prof maple take a look at this magikarp" he said as he brought out the blue magikarp

DJ Summers saw, from the crow's nest of the ship, the island approaching. I had jungles,

chasms and mountains. DJ dived from the crow's toward the water, but hovered just over

the surface. "Good Confusioin pal" he said to to his pokemon, Beldum. "I bet we can find

some new rock-hard pokemon here. Now let's land on the beach over there." He waved

good-bye to Capt. Drake as he passed.

 

"So that's Pr. Maple's lap, huh. Let's go take a look. I'll walk from here." he landed softly on the beach and started towards the glissening white building.

Josh smiled.

 

"Yes, my first pokemon here caught, and it's a ghost! Now, time to go through Twinriver city and start the next town.

 

Josh got on his bike and headed off to Twinriver City. As soon as he got to the pokemon center, he healed his pokemon, and got on the phone.

 

"Hey, Maple, it's me, Josh. I found the ghost you were talking about. I find it strange that an Ice type was on the beach, but I'm glad I found her. It was a Froslass. I'm sending it to you right now to see it. After seeing it, I would like to have it back please."
