Plot:

The Year is C.E. (Cosmic Era) 81. Its been several years now since the event with the Messiah and Durandel's death. ORB has regained its stance as a neutral nation and the Earth Federation is now on good terms with ZAFT finally. Though, the organization Blue Logos is restless and itching for revenge at the ZAFT forces. The Archangel and the Minerva have been retired from service, though their crews each have been recognized for their countless acts of bravery in the face of battle. The Strike and Impulse gundams have both been retired as well. The ZAFT and Earth alliance joined forces as Blue Logos began illegal experiments. The earth alliance's cooperation was to show the world they were not part of these acts.

 

The new assault ship, the Sleiphneir, has been in development recently. Though it won't be completed for several months. Three units are in development in alaska, the ZAFT base on earth. Since the incident with Cyclops, the base has been rebuilt as test grounds for ZAFT prototype mobile suits. The Earth Alliance is also developing some mobile suits in a Southern country, the exact location is not known. The only thing presented was a general 1500 mile radius of its location. The crew of the Sleiphneir are allowed on vacation on base until the ship is finished. Perhaps, their times of peace will end sooner than expected...
