frog OTK

Recommended Posts

Required cards: scapegoat, subsitoad, des croaking

Opponent turn: play scapegoat during end phase

Your turn:

1)Summon subsitoad

2)tribute 3 tokens for 3 des frogs

3)play des croaking

4)tribute last token and subsitoad for submarine frog / beelze frog.

5)all attack for OTK

Requires a limited card, but subsitoad can mill your deck very fast, and other cards can be used to replace scapegoat (though it uses more cards), like fires of doomsday, fiend santuary, or you can just use cards like inferno reckless summon to fill your field up.

Best subsitution for scapegoat is probably this: inferno reckless summon+ wetlands. Have a monster on your field at the start of your turn, summon subsitoad, tribute the monster for a frog less then 1500 attack, activate inferno reckless summon, tribute the 3 frogs for 3 des frogs, use des croaking, tribute subsitoad for submarine/beelze frog, activate wetlands, attack for OTK. 4 card combo.

Total damage: 8100

It's good.

But still, the fact that it uses a limited card is just sad.

We want to solve that, don't we?

If we make another variation that doesn't use limited cards, we'll have a higher chance of pulling it off, and we can still include this variation in the deck.

Requirements

  • Substitoad
  • Another monster
  • Des Croaking
  • 2x Inferno Reckless Summon

How to Perform

  • Summon Substitoad
  • Tribute the other monster to summon any Frog with 1500- ATK (that isn't limited) and activate Inferno Reckless Summon
  • Tribute 1 of the summoned Frogs for Beelze Frog/Submarine Frog and activate Inferno Reckless Summon; due to field space, you'll have 2 of those, but that's exactly enough
  • Tribute the remaining 2 random Frogs for 2 Des Frogs
  • Tribute Substitoad for the 3rd Des Frog
  • Activate Des Croaking and attack for game

The problem is that it requires 1 more card and that you need a monster to survive for 1 turn, but the more variants, the better.

^ A 5 card combo? I guess... we could just play exodia.

The point of that one was to avoid using a limited card, but Exodia contains limited cards ONLY.

This combo contains 4 cards and 1 card that can really be ANY card as long as it's a monster.

Im not arguing or disagreeing to that fact, all im saying is (1+1+1+2) = (1+1+1+1+1)

You can relpace the second inferno reckless summon with a wetlands/terraforming. That greatly increases the chance of drawing what you need. Also, if the facedown monster you have is dandylion, you do not need IRS.(asumming you use wetlands here.)

1) summon subsitoad.

2) tribute dandylion for des frog

3) tribute other 2 tokens for des frong

4) use croaking

5) tribute subsitoad for submarine/beelze frog

6) activate wetlands

7) attack for game.

Cards needed: dandylion+wetlands+subsitoad+des croaking. 4 card combo. Yes, dandylion is limited too, but the overall number of way a frog deck can pull an OTK is amazing.

ok.

someone needs to help me here.

how do you A. tribute a scapegoat for a tribute summon, and B. how do you tribute summon 3 times in one turn?

furthermore, if im not missing something and this really is horribly illegal and stupid, why has no one else in the topic noticed that?

Nice. And Dandylion might be limited, but it's still a nice replacement for Scapegoat. Just do note that you need Submarine Frog per se in this combo, since Swampy Grasslands doesn't affect Beelze Frog.

someone needs to be more specific when speaking.

tributing for a level 5' date=' to me, implies tribute summoning.

im sorry i dont know the useless archetype of frogs front and back. /end sarcasm.

On the internet, you know everything.

Not knowing something is not an excuse.
