moneypony
i see a lot of people post GFX resources in the "Tutorial" section probably since they find it most fitting,i suggest that we make a "Graphic Resource" section where people can post it there so resources are not mixed with tutorials. This will also make it easier for people who want to find resources to find resourcesand easier for people who want to find tutorials to find tutorials. This also encourages more people to share resources with other since you can see a large amount of other people share to since it won't be separated by questions and tutorials.with these changes,if we moved out every resource into the new section,we should have around 3 pages less in the tut section so we can find them easier -.- has suggested a layout to be used for this suggestion:Resources Section:Sub: Tutorials Sub: PSD's/XCF's Sub: Stock/Render Pack. This will be the one used until a better one comes Supporters (12):MeÇå®∂îñål ~XaRhS~Hobbes96.:BleshB:.Jovi SiagianMarvel-.- (if we use the layout he suggested)WarMasterKSpire.brushfireHunter

ZeroG
This is pointless. There is already a Tuts section. There is already a Questions section. This is a massive waste of time.
moneypony
This is pointless. There is already a Tuts section. There is already a Questions section. This is a massive waste of time. you didn't read it did you? it looks like you skimmed through my suggestions and "Tutorial" and "Question" were the words you picked up in case you were too lazy to read what i typed' date='here is a shorter version:We should have a "Graphic Resource" sub-forum in the "Tutorial" section because quite a lot of people post resources in the tutorial sectionWe should also make the "Question" section able to ask Graphic-related questions in it because there are around 100 graphic-related question in the tutorial section. When people go to the tutorial section, they want tutorials, not a bunch of resources and questions
ZeroG
I read it, and my reasoning is sound. Here are the main reasons as to why this shouldn't happen, in addition to my earlier post. -More forums = slower load times-More forums = other forums are weaker-More forums = more spam-More forums = waste of time Sorry for not being as lengthy as I usually am, but I am tired. Your trying to say that adding the multimedia section was a waste of time
ZeroG
Wow, that post was full of the most ridiculous logic I have ever heard.I seemed also like a rant, a pontification on your own battered ego.I can understand loving to hear yourself bloviate, but that... that was just a load of misconstrued and misunderstood half-reasonings based on a statement that I never once actually said, namely that there shouldn't be a "Multimedia" section.Way to seem like a noob, moneypony. In all actuality, I understand that there should be, and more importantly IS a Multimedia section. My point was that this suggestions doesn't seem to meet the muster of this section's few rules, namely the rule saying that new forum suggestions should be wide enough to allow open activity and a solid posting base. This suggestions doesn't meet that, and that is why this suggestion shouldn't be passed.

Lemniscate
Okay, and then how many on the 2nd page, and the 3rd page? It is just a fad, if we had a Forum for every fad, then Fred would have his own category.
moneypony
well, the main reason i suggested this was because resources and questions are not really tutorials. If General was spammed with Fred threads than it becomes a problem,i hardly even see a thread about it
Lemniscate
And the award for missing the point goes to moneypony. I was more saying that a new section for it isn't needed. If anything, just change "Tutorials" to "Tutorials and Resources"It would also help separate the two Tutorials sections. moneypony
I think i should bump this up for a few more opinions If you look at the Tutorial Section now, there are more Templates,.xcf files, etc. In fact, there about half of the first page is graphic resources and the next few pages have a bit more. In the past month,i believe more resource and graphic related questions are made more than real tutorials

I haven't really came up with the format but i guess i will just use yours for now and Icyblue,it has already been said about just changing the name but i think there is a difference from Threads that teach you to make things and threads that give you stuff to use.
