Chapter 16, phew, finaly up!!!

 

I found it longer than other chapters, so I've decided to spilt it into two.

 

[spoiler=Chapter 16 The Roaring Earth]

It's a week since the digidestined counter the fire key, they decided to move on find the other keys, on their way, they encountered serveral digimons.

 

"What's this thing!" said Cindy, busy dodging an attack.

 

"Dunno!" replied Chad, he took his digivice and swipped a chip into it,"Astamon, attack with Gattling Gun!"

 

Astamon put his pistols away, a gattling gun extended from his arm, he absorbed energy and fired dark-energy bullet.

 

Jason and Hydramon aren't involved in the battle (yet)."That thing's Shadramon!" said Jason.

 

"Shadramon is the Armor Digivolved form of Wormmon through the Digi-Egg of Courage. He can withstand heat up to 5000 degree Farenheit, With an exoskeleton made of Red Lithium Digizoid, his psyhical attack matches his special attack, known as Flame Buster."

 

"Flame Buster!" yelled Shadramon, his hands ignited, he thrust them forward, about to hit Cindy, Renamon and Gatomon leapt towards Cindy, Renamon shielded Cindy from the blast, Gatomon hit Shadramon hard, Shadramon fell to the ground, Astamon finished him with serveral blasts from his gattling gun.

 

Meanwhile, Drake and Max are tracking the signal that Drake received.

(They aren't splitting up, they just want Drake to get his Key faster)

 

"A Mayaan temple...." said Drake, "And it seems like the signal is coming from here!"

 

Drake and Max walked into the front entrance of the temple, they tried opening it, but no luck.

 

"It won't budge!" said Drake.

 

"There might be a secondary entrance." said Max "I watched a documentary before saying that all mayaan temples have more than one entrance."

 

Drake used his digivice to scan the walls of the temple, he discovers that one brick is loose, he walked foreward, pushed it inwards, a doorway suddenly opens below them, kinda like a slide,they reached the bottom in less then a minute.

 

"Well that's quick." said Raizamon.

 

"Mhm." replied Weregarurumon.

 

They walked into the main tunnel.

 

"The key is probably located at the heart of the temple" said Max.

 

"Which way is it?" asked Drake.

 

"Let's see the energy reading on your Digivice."

 

Drake pulled out his digivice, "The energy readings are strongest west, we should go there!"

 

As they went deeper into the temple, it got narrower, and finaly,they got trapped inside the Labyrinth.

 

"The top of the labyrinth is protected by a dome! We can't go through it!" said Thundramon, whose evolved from Raizamon.

 

"These wall won't even break, no matter how I attack it." said Weregarurumon.

 

"Guess we'll walk out here." replied Flamedramon.

 

They walked for about 1 hour, and when they finaly reached the end, Drake accidently stepped on a trigger, serveral spears flew at their direction."Thundramon, Digichip activate, Fortified shield!"

 

A energy dome covered Thundramon and the others, saving them from the trap.

 

"Oops, looks like I forgot to tell you that Mayaan's builds booby trap near the treasure room, to keep their Treasure safe." said Max.

 

Meanwhile.........

 

"Where'd they go?" asked Chad.

 

"Dunno." replied Joey, "I can't get any signal from them."

 

They kept on walking, trying to find Max and the others, it's already dusk. "Got them!" shouted Cindy, her digivice showed the signals of Max and Drake.

 

"We'll have to camp here!" said Chad, "They'll come out later, I hope...."

 

Inside the temple.........

 

A boulder was chasing Max and Drake.

 

"What's that boulder made of!!!" said Weregarurumon, "not even our attacks break it!!!!!!!"

 

"Just keep running if you don't wanna be Pancakes!!!!!"

 

"Look, an outrance!"

 

They managed to get out at time, the boulder didn't crash into them. In that room, Theres a door, probably shut. There's a slot in it, Drake put his Digivice into the slot and the door opened.

 

There's a statue in the room, the key is behind it, it's bronze, the statue seemed lifeless.

 

"That statue must be a guardian." said Drake "Like when we got the fire Key!"

 

Flashback #1

 

When they almost reach the Fire-Key, the dragon's statue burned up, a four legged dragon with a long neck, his upper jaw and head is covered with Chrome digizoid helm, simillar to Metalgreymon's (Minus the horns), he called himself Volcdramon.

 

Present

 

This is the earth key, We just need to defeat the guardian and claim the key!

 

The guardian woke up,"If you are the one destined to take this key" it said "Show me your strength!"

 

Weregarurumon and Flamedramon leapt forward the sphinx, "With Pleasure." They said, in unison"

Chapter 17, Earth Key Activated!

 

[spoiler=Chapter 17: X digivolution! Weregarurumon and Flamedramon]

 

Weregarurumon leapt Forward, Flamedramon opposite him.

 

"I reconize that Digimon!" said Raizamon, "It's Subterramon!"

 

"Subterramon is a Mineral Digimon who feeds on Digizoids, his body's material changes according to the digizoid he consumed. He can withstand Wargreymon's attack without even damaging himself. He attacks with Terra Slam!"

 

"Fire Rocket!" declared Flamedramon, on his other side is Weregarurumon who got his fist charged with Firey blue aura, Weregarurumon punched Subterramon in the gut, sending him flying, Flamedramon took the oppertunity and tackled into Subterramon, No damages are shown on Subterramon, he took a few pieces of digizoid and ate them, his body then turned Blue.

 

"He consumed Blue Digizoid!" yelled Max.

 

Before Max could finish his sentence, Weregarurumon and Flamedramon is already defeated!

 

Drake got angered, he rushes forward, punching Subterramon with everything he got, his body is surrounded in two auras, coming from his digivices, the red aura and blue aura swirled together.

 

"What's that!" said Max, his digivice scaned Drake and said:

 

"Digisouls, It enchances all the power of a digidestined human, however, the user will colaspe if used too long.

 

Drake punched Subterramon with everything he got, Subterramon's Blue Digizoid coating broke off.

 

"Damn!" said Subterramon, he rushes toward another pile of Digizoid, and his body turned Chrome.

 

"No matter what Digizoid you absorb, I'll still defeat you!" said Drake, both runs forward, before they collide, a beam of Bronze light blasted through Drake, time stopped around him and his partners, when he woke up, the Earth key is hung on his neck, as well as a chip on his hand.

 

"Flamedramon! Weregarurumon!" shouted Drake, he crossed both digivice together, the chip got scanned into it, both corresponding digimon got wreathed in data streams, and later white light.

 

The light intensify for each second, and finaly it stopped, absorbed into two X-shaped crystals.

 

"Weregarurumon X" said the powered werewolf, his claws got longer and sharper, his muscles became bigger, his tail longer, beside him stood Flamedramon X his armor became more slim, he got wings made of the firey aura around him, the horn on his head became sleeker, also, he got wheels on his feet.

 

"Metal Wolf Strike!" declared Weregarurumon X, his fist ablaze, he retracted his claws, shot himself into Subterramon, punched him with everything he got, the shockwaves colasped part of the temple, the vibrations shattered Subterramon's armor, Flamedramon X shot himself into Subterramon's armorless body, calling "Burning Rocket!" at the same time, resulting a big hole in Subterramon's body.(Subterramon's body is made of rock)

 

"You passed the test." said Subterramon, before dying.

 

Weregarurumon X and Flamedramon X reverted into their previous forms.

 

A beam of light sent them to the main tunnel , Drake and Max hi-fived, and headed to the outrance.

 

"What!!!!!!!!" said Drake "it's night already!"

 

"Guess We'll have to sleep here, it's better than sleeping on the grass you know." replied Max, they went asleep in the temple.

 

The next morning, Chad woke up, finding him near the temple where Max and Drake went, he went inside the temple, Myotismon woke up and followed Chad.

 

"I know I'm a Nocturnal digimon." said Myotismon, "But should we wake up this early?"

 

"You can continue sleeping, I'm finding Max and Drake, They never got back since yesterday."

 

Chad find Max and Drake asleep in the temple, he shook them awake.

 

"I don't wanna go to school mom...." said Max, still sleepy.

 

Chad slapped Max awake.

 

"I think I know where the next Key is!" said Chad, his digivice showed a map of the whole Digital World. "The red spots are where we found the Keys, and it shows an incomplete hexagon."

 

"So?" asked Drake "There's 7 keys."

 

"The last one is in the center of the hexagon, I think!" replied Drake.

 

The others have just woke up when the three went back to the campsite.

 

"We can't waste any time!" said Max "We know where's the next Key is"

 

They started moving towards the next spot, what they don't know is Yamidramon is spying on them.
