Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Actually T3 states "There was no core' date=' Skynet is software and is on every computer in the world". So yes it did say there was no core in T3. Also as Rag said, only one Terminator was sent back to kill John Connor, the others were to ensure Skynet's creation much like with the T-X, furthermore Cameron's model was never stated, but it was shown to be similar to the T-X with the blue eyes, yet in the finale with red.

Also, if the movie was as diverse as the series, meaning if James Cameron had made it a straight up series and not a movie, he probably would of been able to have more than one terminator, since it was a movie it was limited right there. With a series they have more room for character developement, and plot development.

It's not actually known if there was no core or not. Connor said that there was no core, but he did not actually know. He isn't the general nor was he involved in the creation of Skynet. It may be data on the internet, but if they destroy all machines that have the internet then they would destroy Skynet. Meaning that it would be illogical for Skynet to not have such a core, even the military possibly planning to have it housed there because of the possibility of something to hack and destroy Skynet and them wanting to protect it.

Creating a large amount of Terminators and sending them back in time, and then only making one kill the person who leads to your demise is retarded. Considering it is a computer that knows that it will be defeated by him, wouldn't it obviously have used the ability to send tons of Terminators to kill him in the previous two movies?

It would have been really easy to have made the other movies with multiple Terminators as well, but it would have ruined it. But with the character development and plot development, of course it allows for more. But then again, it also allows for large mistakes such as stupid changes in personality and plot changes that are really stupid.

The eye color matter was a goof up in the series, they overlooked that part.

And I know that's how it works from movie to tv series you can develop more, but still. It tends to make skynet smarter and dumber at the same time.
