OK fine. I ddin't know if this counted as Test Answers. Anyway ... now for my answer (I pm'ed this to :p )

 

I certainly think it would increase the realism if someone died in the show. I'm not saying it has to be a gruesome CSI-like death, but there should be deaths. And they should be called as such. not "Sent to the Stars" or something like that. Now I haven;t seen all season or episodes, but I personally thought the duel between Zane and Jesse (possessed by Yubel) was an awesome idea. Zane was just about to win and then passed out, but it would of been better if it was that his heart just gave out and died. It would of been soo shocking. Zane was such an unstoppable duelist and to have it that he lost from health problems was sooo unexspected. now as I said ... I haven't seen the last part of Yu-Gi-Oh GX (just saw up to Jaden and Yubel dissapear) So I don't know if they ever went through with Zane's heart giving out, but I think it would of been interesting.

 

It does always seem better when there are (or seems to be lives on the line). Like when Yu-gi threw his first duel with the Blue Eyes Ultimate to not make Kaiba fall from the explosion, or when Yugi dueled possessed Joey, and there were other countless examples. The closest IMO was when Joey and Oricalcos Mia dueled and when Joey's soul was claimed ... if they had left it as no more Joey, that would of been sooo severe. And it was the last time Joey really played a big part. I mean he didn't have a egyptian counter part for the final season. I think they could of done without him. And when Bakura possessed Tristan in that final season ... all these things had such gravity to them. It would of been more interesting. But this is supposed to be a show that young kids watch and perhaps they (or their parents would dissaprove).

 

I believe there was sooo much potential, but it was put a loose ends. Like the first Kiaba we saw (back with my Blue Eyes Ultimate example) he was putting sooo much on the line to win and save his brother. I thought that was great and also how he truly would have even risked dying to do it. Or maybe he had faith in Yugi's good nature. Kaiba started off as an almost noble schizophrenic (someone who treats two completely opposite paths and/or emotions as completely the same) and then later on he is merely continuously showed as someone who is very narcissistic (not to say he wasn't in the beginning). I just feel that all these things could of been made darker and realistic.

 

Overall: It's nice that the show shows that there are miraculous situations and that friends can always be there for you, but sadly ... this isn't always the case

You can either challenge me to a duel (via pm) in the Duel Academia Arena for a chance at extra points, or you can solve the following Duel Puzzle for three points:

 

In your hand you have The Cheerful Coffin, Zure, Knight of Dark World, Sillva, Warlord of Dark World, Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World, and Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World. You have nothing on the field and only 400 Life Points.

 

Your opponent has out two copies of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, as well as White Magical Hat equipped with Axe of Despair. He has 4200 Life Points remaining. How can you win this turn?

 

You CAN skip the duel portion and instead ask for more questions, if you are someone who watches the show but does not play the game.
