well I think they definitely should be reviewed by someone (they probably already are).

And i think they should also be judged in accordance with someone's deck or something. For example ... if someone has Envoy of the Beginning .... they should have 3 versions of their card in their deck if their card is almost exactly the same effect.

I think since this is like real dueling ... there should be a minimum of made up cards. like at most 10. But then again ... someone could have an awesome idea and make them like the new neo-spacians ... so I don't know. There could always be exceptions and we don't want to be super harsh and hinder creativity.

It's all up to you all since you got more seniority than me here.

Hmm.... No more than 5000 ATK/DEF. Too OP. No effects to destroy monsters at will. No cards with the effects of Heavy Storm' date=' Raigikai, Harpie's Feather Duster, etc. Too many already. All I got

Kill joy...

:P Joking.

That sounds like a good standard, at least as far as custom cards come in. They should be reviewed or checked soon after to be sure of balancing among other things.

But there should be a sort of fair limit. DNK's 10 card limit sounds reasonable and should be only open to exceptions if a Student wishes to introduce an archtype. Of course it would need to be vigirously checked by a couple of the teachers and get the okay in order for it to be valid.

That's just my opinion.

[spoiler=Lore]

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field' date=' you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

- You can remove 1 monster in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon 1 Gemini monster from your Deck in Attack Position.

This is a card I did in the club, "Legendary Card Makers". How do you like it?

Hmm... I was always fascinated by Gemini monsters. This one would probably be a staple in any kind of Deck which runs Gemini monsters only for it's ability. The image itself fits the name well and somewhat the ability. Now that I think of it, this would be good for a D.D. Deck too. The effect is interesting to be sure, I mean to Special Summon a Gemini and then Normal Summon it for the effect is genius. All in all, a good card L-kun.

:D

EDIT:

While we're on the subject, here is the card I used for my Entrance exam:

I assume it passed seeing as how I'm in. XD

Good pic for the card i can see how it passed i guess my entrance card was not as long but it goes with a pretty good card

I agree with the created card but think the limit should be 3 or 5 because if u duel somebody they might not have ever seen or heard about the created cards

I joined before that rule was here, but I am definately getting better. You should see my earlier work... Horrible...

As for Aya's card (Thx btw for the comment), selected=summoned. That's it XD

Edit: For created cards, post the full card, but in a spoiler. With lore

Edit 2: @ Darkhorse card: It would be better as a Field Spell. Works as a Continuous, but it makes more sense as a Field.

1.) Love the pic for your card. I also love the fact it can go with a Monarch, albeit a very dangerous and very D.D. friendly Monarch. :D I do despise Caius simply because my brother almost beat me with it. (Emphasis on "almost")

2.) That would be the point of a created card would it not? Whether it be one or ten, there is always the chance your opponent never heard of it or seen it, so that last part is moot point.

Either of you see this?

I posted after you did. Sorry about that.

Oh yes... Your not summoning anything in my card L-kun. You select the "Harpie" on the field. But thank you for trying to help.

As for your comment about created cards being posted with image and lore, that seems like common sense, but not everyone has the same thought process, so I fully support the idea.

True Aya but more over it is to use a card that u created and made for a certain strategy you would like to use' date=' also if it has a long effect your opponent has to read it during the duel and that could be a pain (Unless he has 2 read it).

[/quote']

Forgive me if I didn't interpret your post correctly. The long effect argument is also moot point because there are some official cards that some people may not be acquianted with that have long effects. And as for creating a card for a specific strategy... that's the basis of a custom card. You create a custom card to help your Deck. That argument is also flawed.
