I finally caught up, it seems Yamamoto is gonna' be fighting on the front lines next ep, sounds awesome. Although, I doubt Allon died just by that.

 

I always liked MJ, not the biggest fan, but I liked his music none-the-less. His death was tragic.

May he rest in piece.

Sakuya, now that you're all caught up, anime-wise, you should start reading the Manga. =3 Most of us are doing that.

=/ Dude, it's friggin' Allon. And Rangiku was already worn from her battle, while Momo was worn from combining so many Kidou. On top of that, neither were expecting just how strong that thing was.

Nope. I thought Soifon vs. Ggio Vega was much more epic' date=' I loved that fight. But I have to admit, I have a newfound love for Shuuhei after his fight with Findor.

Very awesome. Although I disliked both characters to an extent, the actual fight was epic. Ikkaku should've done better, though. >>

What the hell was with his second transformation? You see it for, what, 2 seconds before getting wtfpwnd by Soifon!? What was the point of that? It totally ruined his character for me. He should've just died in his normal ressurcion. >> Then he would've been epic win.

 

5) Lastly, declare any criticisms you may have for the arc, or the series as a whole.

A lot of the fights seemed repetitive and unnecessary, such as the privarion Espada fights. Also, I thought there were too many fights, and very little discussion and character development. I'd like to have known at least a bit of back story about Zommari, Luppi, Aaroniero and the others whom we had no information on.

 

Chibi Nel was awesome, her adult form, not so much. =\ What is it with Bleach and unimaginable bust sizes?

 

And above all, Luppi should've had more screen time. And can someone explain how she got promoted to 6th? If she was stronger then the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th, wouldn't that mean she would be the 7th when Grimmjow was still an Espada? Disregard my fan-boyness. :3

 

Other then that, the arc was awesome.

=O Oh, I don't mean epic epic - because Ggio's fight was way better. But I mean epicly animated. As in, the art they used for Shuuhei and Findor's fight was very top-knotch. Oh, and the music that played when Kazeshini was finally released was epic. =D

 

Yay for evil laughs.

 

Koma seems too plain to me - he has a clear-cut personality, but there isn't enough real exploration on him, ya know? His Bankai is the most intimidating one I've seen, though.

 

D; I know. We all hate El Sable. That's what we were discussing, like, yesterday. xD Which is what led me to tihnk his SRE is just imperfect and incomplete, as Ulquiorra never finished teaching him to use it. But yeah, I choose to just IGNORE that second form, as it rpeserves Ggio in all his wonder.

 

Lastly, I pretty much agree with you. =/ I really want that side manga to be published detailing the Arrancar's lives. Zommari was kinda sapzzy...but, we only got to see him for like, an episode before Byakuya destroyed him, so we don't know the full extent.

Also, Grimmjow was removed from the Espada due to the loss of his arm. =/ I dunno, I guess missing one arm is enough of a handicap to completely remove him from the Espada's ranks. And Luppi took his place because he was powerful enough to do so.

 

=o Kinda makes sense - Yammy is pretty lame, until he releases (but that's still lame in that it's an asspull). Aaroniero has a bunch of powers, but I think Luppi can beat him.

 

With all of Luppi's limbs, I doubt Szayel would get the chance to absorb and make a doll of him, and Zommari can only possess what he can look at, and Luppi seemed plenty fast enough to avoid that.

And that's what I was saying. If Luppi could defeat Yammy, Szayel, Zommari, and Aaroniero, why wasn't he 7th before Grimmjow got demoted?

1 - Starrk

2 - Barragan

3 - Harribel

4 - Ulq.

5 - Nnoitra

6 - Grimmjow

7 - Luppi

8 - Zommari

9 - Szayel

10 - Aaroniero

In any case, Luppi was awesome. I'm sad he didn't get more attention.

 

I always enjoyed Rukia's fight - it was filled with action, Rukia ass-kicking, Kaien ass-kicking (I'm not crediting those skills to Aaroniero), epic animation, and of course, Sode No Shirayuki.

 

Not to mention it expanded Kaien's and Rukia's characters a lot, which I greatly enjoyed.

 

=o Have we had a "List your top five" before? Cuz if not, I propose we do that now.

 

My top five fave characters:

 

1) Byakuya

2) Rukia

3) Shuuhei

4) Yumichika

5) Ggio

 

=D Those first four have been my favorites basically since they were introduced, and only grew on me as time passed. But Ggio wormed his way up there very quickly.

8) Mayuri

9) Szayel

10) Luppi

Definitely not. Yusuke vs. Toguro and Ichigo vs. Grimmjow (Round 3) are both undeniably epic fights' date=' and I'm dying to see Naruto vs. Pain animated.

My main concern with this arc is that the Shinigami are kicking way too much ass with the greatest casualty being Soifon's arm. Starrk alone could just destroy all the towers with Cero Metralleta.

 

As for the series, my biggest complaint is that it's too similar to Yu Yu Hakusho. Despite this it's still a very awesome show. I like Naruto better though.

Ichigo vs. Grimmjow Round 3 still wins. The battle with Nnoitra was also pretty cool.

No. I personally think that Ichigo's fight with Byakuya atop Sougyoku Hill was animated best. It's a favorite of mine.
