Lyfe.
[align=center]There are so many New Members that ask about something that has to do with the rules or disobey the rules etc. So I was wondering, shouldn't there be like one of those things that when you log in for your first time as a New Member that you automatically get re-directed to the Rules Thread? An automated pm with the rules is something we all want >.>We could try that too! Not to mention that it is easy for YCMaker to do!! Look here! JG.
Hell yeah, with this, 95% of nooblets would become nonnoobs!
Madsen
And you haven't thought of this:Okay. A newbie is redirected there. Then, he just clicks the I have read the rules button and go on. If there was the option that you have to read to the end, a newbie just scrolls down and boom. Nothing can force newbie's to read the rules. If they do, they do. Lyfe.
So yeah, there is a button that can take them to what they want to be doing, making cards. But you assume that everyone will be like that. Wrong. Some people will read the rules, therefore, lowering all the spam and such. I didn't say that the problem would be solved and there would be no noobs. I'm trying to reduce the number of them.
HelioSpark
I don't think It will make a difference. noobs will be noobs no matter how hard you try :/If they were someone who really cared about being respected and contributing to the forum in a positive and productive manner, they would go and read the rules by anyway. People shouldn't need to be spoonfed the rules, and if they do, they shouldn't be here. just my opinion :/
LiAM
Doesnt YCM take you to the rules anyway? i mean, i read the rules (breifly) when joining, why do other members find it hard? I support.

Lyfe.
For those who disagree, how many times have you seen a noob that does something against the rules. People tell him/her to read them, but do they? There are people here that haven't read the rules that want to be here. Somebody should be forcing them to read the rules. Update: Cyber Altair posted something I just read that may help as well. An automated PM with the rules. That could work too.

EliminateHRN
Like some others said, they usually probably skip to the bottom and say their read it. You can't force noobs to be non-noobs. However, I have been on a number of forums that sends you a welcome (and read the rules) PM before. I'm sure you can do it here too. I support.
