I actually LIKED the Twilight series. (Not obsessive-liked, but they were good.) But yes. The movie was, for want of a better word, crap.

I prefer the books.

But then again, the book has its faults too:

1. Meyer spends a paragraph or two describing 1 object with tons of fancy wording (Odd).

2. The romance thing between Edward and Bella is wrong. How the heck do you fall in love at first sight with someone at first sight AND not be freaked that they're a vampire?

3. As stated previously, lack of character development, etc.

1. Good authors are supposed to be able to describe things in detail. Granted, Meyers isn't a good author, but...

2. Have you ever read Romeo and Juliet? Or seen any classic Disney movie, really...

3. That's kind of a huge fault in a book...The two main things IN a story are character development and plot...

The main reason I didn't watch' date=' and or read it was because of this simple fact.

Werewolves > Vampires

[/quote']

That only works for twilight

Twilight is poorly acted, poorly written, poorly directed, based off of one of the worst books I had the mispleasure of reading, and had special effects that would have looked bad in the '80s

The fact that there are werewolves in the book seems to be irrelevant here. And Vampire > Werewolf. Totally.

Okay it obvious everyone that is knocking the books are guys, and the only reason they are is there girlfriends would rather have Edward then them. I am a guy and I liked the books..no im not emo or gay.. yes there was faults in em, but yet it seems to get everyone's attention. I wouldnt suggest everyone to read em, because everyone has different taste in books. Personaly I am more into the Knights of the Round Table. If you are going to get the movie I would give it a month till its in the 10 dollar ben at walmart tho.

Werewolves can survive in sunlight though.

So can humans. Vampres beat humans.

There could be some girls that actually realize the flaws in Twilight.

Oh crap' date=' I didn't notice that each and every human was a professional vampire hunter these days. Pardon my ignorance while I go shoot myself.

But they can actually only do s*** once a month -____-

A traditional vampire vs a traditional werewolf - the vampire wins' date=' hands down.

That just makes them more badass. Generally, that once of month, they surpass vampires by far.

A werewolf is about as strong as a human who has done martial arts training for half of their life whilst in human form. As a wolf, they have the physical strength of a medium sized bull bovine.

A vampire has the strength of two men who have lifted wieghts their entire lives all of the time. They can also transform into wolves, bats, and smoke (something that was absent in Twilight), as well as hypnotize most minds. They have some small "magical" ability. They can request wolves and bats and rats ect to aid them.

In a battle between a werewolf and a vampire, even if the werewolf is in wolf form, it is still a constantly replenishing army with a super badass general versus 1 creature. I think vampires are better.

Except in Twilight, then they are "male models" *coughcoughgaycoughcough*
