Holy Babylon
Interestingly' date=' Christ and [b']Mohammed[/b] were both Jewish, or so I am led to believe.I just noticed that. Now, Mohammed was never Jewish, according to the Torah he worshipped pagan gods and ancestors, although he hated it. Then he was visited by St. Gabriel, etc, etc... Davok
Romans > Greeks in terms of their empires. And Macedonia doesn't count. Second, since the Romans trace their origins to the Trojan Aeneas, who is thus connected to the Greeks, it is understandable of how Roman and Greek mythologies are related. Duckmasta2020
LULZ! ancient copyright?! thats a good one. It probably came about because they wanted to differentiate themselves as being a "Superior" society. It's basic human behavior to take something, improve upon it, and claim it as your own. Holy Babylon
The Romans also had a massive empire that had to be controlled by two different governments in two major cities. As opposed to the Greeks being dozens of seperate countries fighting over random crap and trade routes.
Nitemare452
Its awesome tho my fav hero in Greek was Achilles, the best fighter there. Its sad tho that he got taken out by a poison arrow to the achilles heel.
Duckmasta2020
I liked perseus better since he wasn't nigh invincible. But my favorite tragedy would have to be Oreste's.
Davok
Its awesome tho my fav hero in Greek was Achilles' date=' the best fighter there. Its sad tho that he got taken out by a poison arrow to the achilles heel.[/quote'] No, it wasn't poisonous. He was dunked into the River Styx by Thetis, who was holding his heel. Thus, his heel was completely unprotected and thus just a shot from an arrow into his heel was enough to kill him.The Romans also had a massive empire that had to be controlled by two different governments in two major cities. As opposed to the Greeks being dozens of seperate countries fighting over random crap and trade routes. Actually, fun fact- Greece was a crap load of mini countries that possessed the same mythology, culture, architecture, etc. These mini countries were city-states.
