i must say i liek this deck =D

although personally!, id use plasma over the other d heros, it could give you that extra edge you need?

if you do that you need a scapegoat and a phantom skyblaster...

also lose trap dustshoot and marshmallon from the side, they dont seem helpful

Dustshoot is excellent to side against LS to take out a pesky JD or Honest. Also, I would take out Marshmallon for Dandylion if I had one.

I like to run Diamond Dude and Fear Monger simply because they make the deck more consistent by being readily available unlike Plasma, although they rarely get summoned to the field since their main purpose is Allure/D-Draw fodder.

Wouldn't it make sense to keep the Dustshoot in for situations where Oppression is sided in, and Marshmallon for nearly the same scenario? I could be completely wrong, though.

The Deck seems pretty good. How's it playtest?

Well to answer your question I played this same deck (except borrowing my friend's DAD and CCV) at the cities and used it to qualify for the regionals =D

At most times it's pretty solid and consistent, only problems the deck faces (rarely) are clumped monarchs or Malicious in hand without a way to pitch it, but that's unavoidable.

@Guy: I can't find Power Well on the wiki and I certainly don't want to slow the deck down by running Dark Grepher. As I've said before, Monger/Diamond Dude are more readily available and won't clog up my hand.

@Jurassic: The single Soul Exchange plays exceedingly well and thus it shall stay.

@Bunter: Pot of Avarice wins games, though I was considering dropping it for a Foolish Burial.

No, Soul Exchange > Fiend's Sanctuary.

Fiend's Sanctuary is a lovely way to -1 yourself, while Soul Exchange/Caius can take care of 2 big threats at once. The fact that you can't attack that turn doesn't matter, because crippling your opponent's overextension usually leaves them in a difficult position to recover from. Not to mention that Soul Exchange gets around Stardust Dragon unlike other generic removal.

If your opponent doesn't even control a monster then you probably don't want to summon a Monarch that turn anyway. Think about it...

I tend not to run more than the standard 5 Monarch lineup in this variant due to the presence of Malicious etc.
