hmm. I've played platinum 18 hours strait and beat the elite four. as far as I know the ARDS codes from D/P dont work on platinum. I've looked up cheats but haven't used them because its pointless and takes the fun out of the game. according to what I've ssen the code structure is different in the two series.

for eample: d/p

94000130 fcff0000

B21c4d28 00000000

B0000004 00000000

E0004544 00000028

platinum

this part changed from d/p--> (94000130) (FFFB0000) <--this part changes for type of code

this part changed from d/p--> (B2101140) 00000000

1000009E 00000000

100000A0 00000000

Crunch? No' date=' Stone Edge. Fire Blast is fine, overall I think it ends up at a higher power. However in the E4 you'll probablly want to think about PP.

[/quote']

Which is why I probobly should have tought it Flamethrower :<

Still, I haz alot of berries/random items I collected along the way.

*wishes thare was a berry verson of a Revive*

Armadil'z: don't teach it surf. Crunch might do well' date=' but what are your pokemanz, I can totally help.

[/quote']

Ground and Fire Pokemon arent weak to Dark.

This is why I was asking if I should teach it some random Water-Type move. Since it would help me out.

I ment the Psychic guy.

EDIT:

dosent it give more damage then fire fang?

Garchomps Physical Attack, base 130, is better than its not useful Special Attack. So Fire Fang, even though it has 60 damage compared to flamethrowers 95 damage, is better.

Felix: I am most certainly not a nub, which is really noob. Learn to spell.

+Armadilloz: Stone Edge, Crunch, Earthquake, and Dragon Claw or FireFang would work (FireFang incase you don't have a Firetype). I'm only suggesting this for the Elite Four, for their easy. StEd for Bugs from the first guy, and EQ on his Drapion. EQ would do well on Bertha, but Grassnot or Energy Ball from another teammate is better. EQ deals with Flint. Psychic dude can be taken out with Crunch/Fire Fang on Bronzong. Then for Cynthia,EQ her Spiritomb if you used Dragon Claw, on her Garchomp to deal with it. Stone on Togekiss, EQ/FireFang her Roserade, Milotic knows IceBeam, so I doubt you will be able to get it with one hit from your Garchomp. Lucario with EQ.

Dont teach it Surf, not good Special Attack stat.

I know what I'm talkin about.

It has a higher BP but Garchomp's ATK is a lot higher than its SpA. The reson why Fire Blast is better is because of how much higher Fire Blast is to Fire Fang. Flamethrower on the other hand doesn't hit the mark.

Because Fire Fang does like 60 damage, Whare as Fire Blast does 120

More damage >>>> Less damage.

But Flamethrowewr has 100 accuracy, Compared to Fire Blast's 90(I think its 90)

Still, Fire Blast is better.

The fact is Fire Fang will do around similiar damage so Fire Fang will probably be the better option. Although I think you have to breed to get Fire Fang...?

*goes to Serebii.net*

*searches Garchomp*

*sees that Garchomp can learn Fire Fang at the cost of a Heart Scale, Rather then breeding it*

I might have to go underground for one though :/

Also, lol@using Outrage, Then combining it with that berry that heals confusion

lol' date=' no. Don't do that, that's a nub combo like Rest/Chesto.

[/quote']

I know, And its retardidly situational.

It would be better, If something Spinda could learn it. Since it cant be Confused.

(still, Primape can get away with Rest, Without the use of a berry)

Why do that when you can get one from the newspaper guy in Solance town? He asks you to bring you a pokemon, you bring it, he gives you 5 pokeballs (of any random kind, including master) and a heartscale.

I take it, You had gotton a Masterball from that guy before.

Also, I actually prefer the Underground. Since:

A- More shards

B- Heart Scales are relatively common

C- I can get more spheres/More items for my base

Yes' date=' thats diffinitely true.

Also, I'm thinkin on makin a Sand Storm Team; for fun.

I'm thinking something like:

Tyranitar

Garchomp

Swampert

Forretress

Hippowdon

Bronzong

And I'm also considering:

Metagross, Magnezone, Scizor, and Gliscor.

Any thoughts on such?

[/quote']

Honestly, I would just make an Earthly team(and by 'Earthly', I mean Ground/Rock)

It would be any combination of 6 of the following:

Sandslash

Nidoking

Rhydon

Cubone

Tyranitar

Armaldo

Aerodactyl

Kabutops

Rampardos

Oh, yeah, that gives me alot of help...

Threw in different ones for their different strengths and weaknesses. If I threw in all rock/ground, then they would be vulnerable to grass and water moves. So thats why

I built it differently, yet all are adapted to SS and focus on SS.
