"Aw gee, I'm touched..." Aaron snorted in mock sarcasm. "So are you gonna open them for us?"

Crystal shut her eyes and thought about the three cards she wanted most.

 

I'll go with ... Dark Paladin, Super Fusion ... Magician's Valkyria.

[Negimalevolent]

"You kidding, you can open your pack, why should I do it?"

 

[Thinking hard] Can I get my missing cards from this... come on: Magic Cylender, E-Hero Absolute Zero and Dice Jar, I need these

[Queen-Dragoon]

"Divine Wrath, Dark Armed Dragon and Realm of Light... please..."

"YES! Whoever came up with this pack idea is a genius!"

[Negimalevolent]

"I think it's not luck, you know what the poster said, if you buy with a true friend, something good will happen, this must be so if I get Magic Cylender, E-Hero Absolute Zero and Dice Jar it's true"

[Queen-Dragoon]

"Go on then... Let's see if third time is the the charm!"

[Negimalevolent]

"Presto! I got them!"

"Wow. It's a shame that AJ wasn't here to enjoy these as well." Aaron sighed slightly.

Seijin: (Frozen after his bath) good lord, that's one way to ward off temptation.(begins walking to the shop)I may not have mioney but I can always window shop.

"I've got them," said Crystal as she opened her pack. "The perfect cards for my deck ... and a perfect counter against Chris ..." She added, looking down at Super Fusion and Dark Paladin. "Now I just need one more Magician's Valkyria and my Spellcasters will be safe ... sort of."

"One problem Crystal, we can't send our own opposites to the shadows!"

[Naimo]

"WHAT? What happens to them if we win them? And what happens to us if we loose?"

[Negimalevolent]

"Nothing, win or lose you survive, that's why Pearl asulted me with a knife"

[Naimo]

"So what you're saying is we've got to physically kill the opposites?" asked Crystal, eyebrows raised.

[Negimalevolent]

"They'll do that, the other option is that someone else duels them"

[Naimo]

"So ... we can't duel our own counterparts ... so say for example if you duelled Chris and won, then Chris would die ... but if I duelled Chris and won, he'd live on?"

[Negimalevolent]

"Right, that's it! Hence the fac I keep getting assulted"

[Naimo]

"I see. Not that it's going to be any use giving you an early funeral - I'll just kick the stuff out of Pearl and then she'll wish she had never murdered you," said Crystal.

"Uh... am I supposed to feel safe in that scenario, you make it seem like I'm already dead!"

[Naimo]

Crystal laughed. "Well in that will-never-come-true scenario you're dead and I've just gained revenge for your death."

"Nice to know you care then..." *laughs*

[Naimo]

"Try telling that to Pearl," said Crystal. "Let's go, I've got a few friends who'll be joining Dark Magician."
