"Man, this crowd's so behind DMG. So much for looking a lot sexier than her," said Crystal as she drew. "Well will you look at this, it's a Pot of Greed. Oh look, I've got Spellcaster's Aid." She drew the top card. "I've drawn my purple Dark Magician, which means four more draws." She drew four more cards. "First I'll use MST to destroy your Spell Absorbtion. Next I'll activate Future Fusion. Now I'll send five dragon monsters to the graveyard, and guess what five dragons make?" An uncharacteristically nasty smile crossed her face. "That's right, Five-Headed Dragon.

 

"And if you loved that, you'll love this. I'll now activate Polymerization to fuse my Buster Blader and Dark Magician together to create Dark Paladin! And the good news is, there are six dragons in the graveyard - counting the one I discarded with Divine Wrath - so I sense a boost of 3000 attack points. Now Dark Paladin, let's take a HUGE chunk of Life Points out of DMG."

 

DMG - 5100

Crystal - 8000

 

"Now I'll throw one face down and end."

"Thank you Pete," said Crystal. Chris was right, this deck really is strong!

 

In the crowd, Chris dressed as Gaia the Dragon Champion made his way over to where Pete, Michael and AJ were. He had a large foam Curse of Dragon around his waist. His upper body was dressed like Gaia the Fierce Knight. "Hello, I came to watch Crystal."

"Well, you may know me as Dark Chris. Before you do anything Michael, I should explain when the smoke made me, Crystal had too much light in her heart to make a proper bad guy. I may seem evil, but really it is the darkness in my heart that is properly stopping me from joining forces with you lot," explained Chris quickly. "I'm not here to caus a fight; if I was I would have done so very early on."

"I know you'll hate me, but believe me I am not here to create trouble. You see the deck Crystal is using? I gave it to her. Look at the effect it's creating!" said Chris. "Plus, this isn't the most perfect costume to create trouble in, is it? Oh no a guy in a suit so stiff he can barely move his upper half and a large, bulky, unstealthy foam dragon on his lower half is going to go and punch another student! I'm scared!" He said this with dry humour.
