Kale
wouldnt a feature that allowed us to click on certain text and send us to the correct spot on the page be helpful? (similar to wikipedia, where it gives a table of contents and when you click on a line it will drop you to where on the page that is.) i heard that this is part of code that is call anchors. i dont know how accurate that is though. if anyone wants an idea like this, or knows about a code that already does this intended purpose, please respond. thank you. :D -Kale. Kale
all i have to say is: CTRL + F :) true, but wouldnt a "click and send" option be nice? i was thinking that it would allow people to jump to new cards in a large set, or it would allow for jumping to a chapter or section in a fan fic. i just thought that this would be useful. ;)
LiAM
meh, if you want to find a new card in a set, look at the bottom, want to find a new part of the fan fic, skip to the last post :/

.Requiem
What is this idea for? cards or something in a post.
Kale
What is this idea for? cards or something in a post. what ever you want, i suppose. i heard that there was a type of code called anchors, which i assume would work similar to links, but that you would have to put another code on the page somewhere where you want it, so that when you clicked on the anchor code it moved your page to the spot where the anchor was. i thought that it would be neat to mess with, and, if used correctly, could make a thread look very professional. ;)
LiAM
isnt there a search thread tool at the bottom anyway? above the post reply button?

The Marvel guy is right, use the search bar. it is not pointless, and its not that you would be searching for something that you dont know. its if you have a very cluttered thread and you want someone to have the ease of finding what you want them to see as quickely as possible, such as being able to click on a word and being dropped straight down to the newest card you created. wouldnt that be nice? I really don't get what that thing exactly is, we already have a useful search engine and we can navigate threads easily.
