Guest JoshIcy
OCG is to make it more realistic. But I only see it as language, so I really don't care for it.

.Requiem
Well it helps to understand what the effect is, as some people just post effects that you can't even understand.

Lazer Yoshi
OCG doesn't have to be perfect, but when "Attack" becomes "throw a giant spear at the following Creature Paper Rectangle", there's a problem.
Jovi Siagian
Well, OCG is a big matter for me since I'm a perfectionist. I want everything to be perfect and/or planned, just like the original thing. So I always find a card that has the same or similar effect with the card I'm going to make, and learn from there. I always do this since I create my very first card.

Catman25
Or you can edit and create a poll. OCG isn't life, it's just like grammar on the forums, it's not completely necessary, but there are some benefits to knowing it.

OMGAKITTY
OCG is how you get people to stop calling you a n00b. First thing anyone will point out is 'lul, ur ocg is rong' You won't get any sort of useful comment until you have at least a semblance of OCG. And it does make effects easier to understand, as opposed to: when this card is on the field it makes larg atk points and can kill things all the tiem and when you kill it it doesnt die but it kills the kilelr instead
