snipers are not beams. it is affirmed many times that they use special shells that, especially when fired in quick succession at the same point, can penetrate most zoids' armor, and yes, even the most powerful shields.

 

and if the shield on Schnieder works similarly to the one on blade liger, it can be made able to repel (most) particle weapons too, and relatively easily at that.

 

and who knows how good panzer could eventually become. find a way to keep it from overheating (like special stabilizers or something) and you have a mobile one-zoid arsenal. just because they never developed such an improvement during the course of the show doesn't mean its impossible.

if panzer had been in chaotic century/guardian force they probably would have fixed it by now. but with the whole competitive thing in new century zero, its just a lot harder.

Lightning Saix's beam was a range to you know, it can't snipe or will lose power.

Panzer is a moving Zoid tank, while it is slow, it's armor and weaponry is amazing.

 

Who cares if it can barely move, the zoid is only as good as it's pilot. The pilot of the Saix or Blade Liger won't be able to avoid the numerous missles firing at them, even if they are the best pilot. You guys misunderestimate the number of weapons on Panzer...

Snipers ARE beams. They use a shell, BUT it is encased by beam for more accuracy.

 

That was a godmod tactic by Van, Schnieder shields can't cover particle cannons, unless heavily modified, but that would make the Schnieder extremely slow.

It DOESN'T OVERHEAT. It's called recharging. It can't fire in rapid succession, it has recoil.

 

Speed isn't important when you have heavy armor, amazing turning(It does), and amazing weaponry.

 

The only ones that know anything about Zoids here is apparently hiro, and Primal.

that's because everyone expects that they would be able to pilot a zoid as well as the main characters from the show. i have no such misconceptions. i know that if zoids were real it would take practice, money, and patience to get good, just like anything else, and to get the results i wanted, i would either have to change zoids until i found the right one, or heavily modify the one that i had.
