Activate only when this card attacks or is attacked. Decrease this card's ATK and DEF by 500' date=' and decrease the ATK and DEF of an opponent's monster that this card battles with by 1500 until the End Phase.

Because the Topic Creator was so lazy.

I have to say Dark End Dragon. It can get rid of a monster and attack in the same turn. Even if it is once per turn, it is still quite good.

ok i understand that dark end can beat stardust easy but with Light end you would inflict damage to your opponents life points.

So?

Higher ATK doesn't mean shite.

Light-End Draon is open for ALL monster removal, at least Dark-End Dragon can be useful to you before it dies.

no....you just remove from play the card not making any lp changes at all to either player

Let's see.

Light-End reduced it's ATK by 500 and reduced the ATK and DEF of a monster on your op's side of the field by 1500, let's say a monster with 2500 ATK (Stardust). It's ATK becomes 1000. You inflict 1500 damage by attacking it.

With Dark-End however, if your opponent doesn't happen to control other monsters other than Stardust, you can inflict 2100 direct damage.

In all, Dark-End Dragon is better, because removal beats attacking anytime.

I came in this thread only seeing Which is Better? Dark End Dragon... and then it was cut off by the latest thread cutoff. Of course I assumed we wouldn't be comparing it to Light End Dragon, as Dark End Dragon is ridiculously better, as should be obvious, I thought we'd be comparing it to Stardust or Dark Strike Fighter. But alas, this was indeed the terrible thread which resided in my worst fears, the trauma is renewed like a hot painful iron. Even worse, the OP decides to tell us that an effect which is basically a 1000 ATK reduction to your opponent's monster is better than destroying it entirely. C'mon people.

Dark End is vastly, VASTLY superior. Everything from his effect to his attribute to his Synchro material.

The argument that "oh Light End inflicts damage" is ridiculous, because no one would be stupid enough to attack into it. Furthermore, Dark End inflicts more damage, by sending the monster to the grave and then attacking directly.
