guy person
I'm sure everyone knows the whole "tuningware->machine dupe->synch summon->de-synchro->synch again" combo, but I want to know how practical you think it actually is. This might need to be moved to strategy so do so if needed.

Guest PikaPerson01
Punch the numbers. Summon, let's say, Junk Warrior. (+0)Revive Tuningware. (+1)Machine Dupe (-1) to special summon 2 from deck (+2)Send all to the grave (-4) to Synchro summon a monster (+1)Draw 3. (+3) So far, it's a +2 De-Synchro (-1) to send Synchro to Extra Deck (-1) and bring back all material (+4)Send synchro material (-4) to Synchro summon a monster (+1)Draw 3 (+3) After this, it's a +4 I, personally, find De-Synchro to be much too much of a liability. Too often it can lead to being a dead card.

guy person
I kind of figured it would be a dead card a good amount of the time, but running one probably wouldn't hurt.

OmegaWave
De-Synchro would've been much more playable if it were a Quick-Play like it's De-Fusion counterpart.

Guest PikaPerson01
Yes it will. Then give reasoning. Because drawing into it when you don't have a synchro, or when you do have a Synchro but didn't use the above combo to get it means it's a dead card and in a duel you want to avoid having dead cards as often as possible because it limits what you can do. If I recall correctly, the OCG ruling is that it can only be used on your own field. TCG probably differs. Also, unless your opponent used Malicious and Plaguespreader, you're still gonna end up with a -1. (Lose a card in hand, opponent gains 1 random monster and 1 Tuner.) Granted, giving your opponent two, less powerful monsters and then knocking one out in battle might be the lesser of two evils in comparison to letting him keep a Synchro on the field. Aesirson
Junk Synchron's effect wants justice! When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower monster from your Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. That monster's effect(s) is negated.
