Get stuck in a game you play? Want to buy a game but you don't know whether it's good or not? Then we have the answers!

Here, you can give us reviews about games you've played, see previews of the games you've been anticipating, ask for help when you get stuck, help other members in gaming, and give/ask for suggestions for which games we should buy. Beyond of the opinions you give, there should be a reason. So give us the reason, too.

Review:

I got Tom Clancy's HAWX and I've been playing it for a while, in fact my eyes are red from staring at the screen. Back on subject...the game has great sounds and the effects are great, but only if you pay attention to those sorts of things. The graphics are similar to Tom Clancy's other recent game: Endwar. The gameplay and animations are similar to Blazing Angels 2, such as the camera effects. The storyline is very simple, but at least I pay attention to it and know what's going on. The game isn't very challenging unless it is put on the Elite mode, where you have less ammo and you are weaker. The controls are great and are very easy to get used to. I also like the great new things they are exploring with the game, such as drawing a path for you to follow to your target and the new system where you can try new tricks with. Of course, the game has it's downside when you fly closer to the ground. You become more like a flying building, basically a super-aircraft, but I can see why they maxed-up the size of the aircraft and it is easily ignorable. It's great if you like Clancy games and even greater if you like flight games. It is comparable to Ace Combat in every way and I will come to prefer it within the next few days. This is a game to purchase and I am sure buyers will enjoy it in every way.

Challenge: 7

Length: 7

Sound: 10

Storyline: 7

Overall Rating: 8.0
Review:

The name of the game is Endwar. Another Clancy title which came out early November last year, Endwar has set some new innovations in the Real Time Strategy theater of gameplay. The storyline is a war between Russia, The US, and the EU. After the Middle East blew themselves up in a nuclear war, Russia was the number one supplier of fuel to the world. Several events happen in the pre-game which leads the world into World War III, I won't reveal the events, but I can say some of them are accidental. The storyline isn't much, but I can see where it's going, plus the new innovations such as voice commands more than make up for it. The game takes place on a world map where players must go to enemy sites, one leading to the next, in order to capture their capital. There are several types of battlemodes ranging from Domination to Elimination, which is different from most RTS console games where the entire point is to blast everyone you see to pieces. You may play as the United States Joint Strike Force, The European Federation's Enforcer Corps, or Russia's Spetsnaz Guard Brigade, each having their own Weapons of Mass Destruction used in a special sequence called "DEFCON Mode" where players have moments to act as the game is literally coming to a stop. Voice commands are not needed, but are definitely recommended as there are many buttons to press and speaking into the mic is just so much faster than punching buttons and controlling several units at once. The storyline is very short, but the main axle of the game is to revolve online in Theater of War mode where you batttle players worldwide over the internet for global domination. Endwar's graphics cut short when close to the ground and it is recommended that you play with your television set lowered a bit. So in overall standards:

Challenge: 8

Controls: 10

Graphics: 6

Interface: 10

Length: 4

Sound: 10

Storyline: 3

Overall Rating: 7.6

C'mon altair. I think that people should look to this thread filled with people who may or not be telling the truth and have Jovi spend forever updating this thread. Why use the other sites that have complete story guides and professionals testing out the games?[/sarcasm]

Sorry but it is the truth

So? People's opinion are different. I might call it great' date=' the pros might call it bad, you might call it decent. You may find few tips in GameFAQs, but not all of them. If one member here knows the answer, then why don't he/she posts it here rather than opening a new thread just to ask 1 tips that doesn't exist in any other sites in the web? And I don't mind upaddating this thread until this site goes down. Be positive. >.>

Interesting thread, I can give reviews too most Wii/GC games, along with some 360 ones. I can also help when people are stuck and certain games and such.

So, we can help gamers and type reviews?

Yes, you can. ^_^

Okay, Deadlycreampuff has given me 1 review about Tom Clancy's HAWX. I'll edit the first post.

So 4 people want this stickied and 1 doesn't.

The one wins.

If you want cheats, reviews, help, etc, you can just use Gamefaqs. That place covers almost everything you could need.

People shouldn't make threads asking for tips in a game since Gamefaqs will likely already have the answer. Infact, I'm adding a rule for that.

The review thing is a nice idea, but in the end it is all opinion based and it comes down to the person. People love Halo, CoD, etc, but those games aren't my thing. If you want opinions wait for a thread about said game to come up and ask their, or if you really want, make a discussion thread for that game and ask for people's opinions their.

Ex Thread: Resident Evil 5 just came out so who's gotten it so far. The reives say that game isn't that hot, but what do you think?

If you want to question the lock, pm me, but for now this is getting locked.
