First: Not true. Juche and Confucianism are known as both religions and idealistic movements. This is a well debated part of Religious Geography. In my own opinion, Confucianism is not a religion, while Juche (not the Korean Government type Juche) is a belief that you, in yourself is basically the world. Almost like...we are all robots, and the Juche believer is the only person.

 

Second: Not all religions involve a god or supreme being. Scroll through the past couple of pages and see my own mistake in this. Buddhism is an atheistic religion.

 

Third: Definition of Religion- A set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe.

 

Don't worry. These are simple mistakes made in most of the mainly christian western world. If you take a class on religion you'll understand. I used to think the same.

He said his grandpa was Christian, that doesn't exactly mean his parents are. He's looking at it like Christianity is an ethnic religion.

There's a "half-hindu" at Post 113. He fails to realise that I mean his beliefs. Although Hinduism is one of the ethnic religions, you can't also be Christian if you are Hindu.
